Hongsi Hotel

- Despite my ability to view four hotel rooms for comparison, all of them were not clean upon my arrival. The first room I checked had cockroaches, which subsequently contaminated the food I ordered. While I typically believe that for that price, one cannot complain, this situation was unacceptable.

+ Positives- Nothing much

- Negatives - The staffs were very ignorant and they dont even have any idea about the bills that we payed.At the time of checkout came up with certain bills that we already payed and then we were forced to make them check the CCTV and confirm thenpayment..Thatsl too at the time of checkout.Then again came up with certain bills that were not supposed to pay after the checkout..And the guys at the reception and their attitude,totally unapologetic. If there was an option,i would have given 0 rating.Avoid staying here and you have so.many goos reasonable hotels at Thamel central itself. Its a bit long from the happening spots of thamel.The staffs attitude spoils whatever positives there for the hotel.

+ I have very experiences , I forget my apple watch at room while check out , i called back to them but i dont get good response !, it was located in the hotel... still waiting response from hotel soon !

+ Most of the staffs were good. Facilities were fine but not as advertised.

- There was one person who was at reception during the night shift - this person was extremely bad, unwelcoming and zero manners. We were given a room with cockroaches, that we later exchanged.

- It's just a place where you can sleep. Location is bad, service is non existing.

+ Le personnel de l’hôtel est adorable, ils nous ont bien aidé pour la réservation du bus et préparé un petit déjeuner à emporter car nous partions avant l’heure.

- Propreté pas ouf… salle de bain sale, nous n’avons pas eu le chambre réservée initialement, établissement assez bruyant le soir. Clou du spectacle le spa, n’y allez pas ! Sale, mauvaise odeur, et si vous êtes de surcroît une femme on vous regardera de façon très insistante et dérangeante!!!

+ L'hôtel est très bien situé. Dans une petite rue avec peu de passage de voitures. Quelques motos. Mais c'est loin de l'agitation qui règne à quelques rue de là. On est en 10 minutes à pied de Thamel. Le personnel est très agréable notamment les personnes présentes au petit déjeuner. La literie est très confortable. Nous leur avons demandé un gâteau pour l'anniversaire de notre fille et c'est avec plaisir et facilité qu'ils ont accepté.

- Nous avons changé 3 fois de chambre en 3 jours ! La première : la porte ne fermait pas à clef ! Donc tout le monde pouvait y entrer ! C'est embêtant quand vous avez tous vos effets personnels dans la chambre... Ils nous ont indiqué que la maintenance passerait dans l'apm mais en attendant... Du coup, nous avons demandé à changer de chambre. Même palier au bout du couloir. Même taille, toujours sans vue (ni sur ville ni montagne comme annoncé mais sur un autre hôtel !...). A 11h du soir, nous avions des cafards qui courraient sur le sol et les murs de la chambre !!!! Nous avons donc demandé à changer de chambre tout de suite ! 2ème déménagement dans la même journée ! 3eme chambre : Même palier. Chambre plus petite, sans balcon et vue sur les poubelles et le parking ! Bon, là aussi il y avait des cafards mais moins... nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cette chambre. Le coin cuisine et ses équipements sont réduits au strict minium. Cela ne donne pas trop envie de cuisiner... Hygiène moyenne dans les placards... Aucun porte manteau ! Du coup, on ne sait pas où étendre ses serviettes mouillées ! Pas de rideau de douche. Donc toute la salle de bain (cuvette des VC comprise) est inondée ! Au moment de payer, j'ai demandé au manager un geste commercial, une remise pour nous dédommager DES préjudices subis (déménagements, plus de balcon, chambre plus petite, des cafards...). Il nous a proposé de nous conduire à l'aéroport gratuitement. Ce qui correspond à environ 15€. Faible compensation ! Décevant !...

+ I like the location of the hotel. It is near Thamel, but it is not noisy. So, you can enjoy the activities, but also rest at night. The staff was very kind and supportive, and ready to help in anything I need. Finally, it was cheap (althought there are cheaper in Thamel). It has a nice spa area.

- There were many cockroaches. Sometimes, there were some bad odors in the toilet. The breakfast was monotonous (I would only recommend the yougurt, and the cereal), and for example, if you ask for eggs in a different preparation... they will not do it. Finally, the internet is quite messy as only 2 devices are authorized per room, and they dont work that well.

- Price was shown while booking was different from the confirmation received after booking, whixh was noticed only at the time of payment at hotel

+ Amazing stay The apartment was very spacious, clean, and super comfortable. What truly made the experience special was the staff, especially Sanu, who was incredibly kind, friendly, and always smiling. She made us feel so welcome from the first moment. Highly recommended

+ Quiet, good central location , near to Tourist bus station. Excellent staff and room. Good food.

+ The staff tried their best to make my stay comfortable and helped to arrange transfer. The breakfast was good, and the restaurant was decent.

+ The food at the restaurant is surprisingly affordable,we had a great stay. Enjoyed their sauna, jaccuzi, steam room and spa facilities. Overall a great hotel with great views and a lot of open space.

+ The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful too.

+ Sehr hilfsbereiten freundliches Personal. Did Managerin stand uns schon vorab via whatsapp zur Hilfe bereit. So konnten wir problemlos ein Taxi vom Flughafen organisieren. Auch ließ man uns direkt in der Früh einchecken nach Ankunft, obwohl es nicht mal 9 Uhr war. Auch durften wir am Tag der Anreise bereits frühstücken statt am nächsten Morgen (das hätte bei uns zeitlich nicht hingehauen). Man beriet uns in allen Belangen, u.a.bekamen Wir einen tollen Tipp für ein Restaurant in wenigen Minuten fußläufig erreichbar mit leckerem Essen in authentischen Ambiente (Newa Ghasa Sorhakhutte). Die Hotel ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir bekamen ein Zimmer Upgrade umsonst für das Familienzimmer im obersten Stock und hatten so ein Ausblick über die Dächer Kathmandus.

- Die Dusche ließ sich von der Temperatur schwierig regulieren. Im Dunkeln haben die Deckenlampen geflackert.

+ Nice view and upper floor. It had an adjacent restaurant and massage studio.

+ The rooms were good. The staff was really warm. It's a brilliant stay for the amount they charge.

- Just that it was a little outside thamel. Altho 5 minutes only.
