+ Fairly comfortable bed

- The room wasn’t ready at check in time. 5th story and no elevator. We only booked this room because of the bath as we’d just trekked for 12 days, and it didn’t have a plug so we couldn’t use it. Reception are very slow to respond and said twice they would call me back and never did. We could have booked a nicer room without a bath for a third of the price.

- rooms are small, bedding is adequate, there is no lift

- Lenzuola bucate e federe cuscini non pulite. Colazione sufficiente. Descrizione della stanza non corrispondente, tra l'altro diceva che c'era un balcone quando in verità c'era solo una finestra che dava sulle scale dell'hotel. Tutto molto trascurato, con arredamento e servizi da rivedere. Non pecca la pulizia. In zona si trova sotto di meglio allo stesso prezzo. Staff disponibile.

- The shower drains badly and the fridge is broken.

+ Location is great. Staff is super supportive, specially Ayush is a very friendly and helpful guy.

+ Das Hotel liegt zentral in einer ruhigen Nebenstraße. Die Zimmer sind sauber und ansprechend, Fenster auf einen Lichtschacht.

- Das Hotel hatte mit einem gratis Flughafenshuttle geworben, nach der Buchung kostete dieser dann 10 Dollar (was ein angemessener Preis ist, aber..). Man wird etwas zu nachdrücklich darum gebeten, bei booking 10 Punke zu vergeben. Ein frühes Frühstück war trotz mehrfacher Absprache nicht vorbereitet.

+ The value for money! It was a really good price for the entire stay we had. We walked from the hotel to all around Thamel, so the location was quite good and it felt safe. When we needed breakfast early morning, the staff were kind enough to prepare it. Any special request was met with understanding and kindness. The staff were so so nice!

- Well, you get what you pay for! - the pillows were not comfortable - Many of the buildings in Nepal are quite old, so it was a little cold and sometimes even smelly in the hallways. - the breakfast was a bit slow and the portion sizes were small (if you’re used to eating a whole lot)

+ We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Maya boutique hotel. The room is really beautiful and clean. The staff were really kind and went out of their way to help us in many ways, they really felt like trusted friends! The breakfast was great too! Located in a quiet street with many restaurants and shops nearby.

+ Me gustó la ubicación, la atención del personal, las instalaciones y lo cómodo del colchón, muy tranquilo el ambiente también.

- No hay elevador, este no es problema para mí pero a lo mejor es requisito para otros. La reservación en booking no incluía desayuno ni traslados de aeropuerto.

+ Excelente desayuno y abunante muy amable la atencion. Limpieza y confort muy bien

- Unser Bad war nicht sehr komfortabel, da der Wasserdruck im 3. Stock nicht sehr stark war und ein von zwei Duschköpfen nicht funktionierte.

+ Very friendly and helpfull staff. As our flight from Lukla was cancelled, we arrived very late (in the morning hours), which was no problem to handle.

- Wear and tear on bathtub.

+ The hotel is great. Location is in the center of Kathmandu. In the Thamel. Next to the Main Street. So you don’t have to worry about the noise of Thamel. And the room was clean. They have AC in the room. So you will feel comfortable no matter summer or winter. The boss always smiles to customers and he has a good hearts. Helped me a lot with my trip. You can ask him about everything in Kathmandu.

+ I had a really lovely stay here. The hotel is nice and very clean, and the location is super convenient. I arrived at 9 a.m. and was already able to check in, which I really appreciated after traveling. Breakfast was great. The potatoes were incredible! The service throughout my stay was excellent. A huge thank you to Gopal and Sandesh for being so attentive and genuinely helpful. I’d absolutely stay here again and can highly recommend it.
