Ayenda Oasis Airport

The big issue was that we paid for a room with an advertised *private* bathroom. We were shown to a bathroom in the corridor which we were assured by the host was “just for us.” However there were other guests knocking to use the bathroom! So it was a communal bathroom. It was fairly clean, just inconvenient and not what was told/advertised to us! The room itself was fine to sleep in for 1 night before an 8am flight the next day, but I wouldn’t book a longer stay. Beds were not very comfortable and we could hear a LOT of noise from the lobby area until late at night. Walls are very thin so they could definitely also hear us 🤷‍♀️ 2 family members woke up with mysterious bug bites. The whole hotel also smelled strongly of boiled chicken/eggs and it was not very pleasant. The host we talked to was attentive, and I think there’s someone working the desk 24h. But, the keys we were given to enter the front door of the hotel didn’t work (they answered the doorbell immediately, but could have been stressful if we came back later). This is advertised as being near the airport - as per google maps, it’s a 38min walk because of the overpasses you need to take, so we had to Uber 5 mins.
