City Centre Budget Hotel

Originally, I wanted to rent an Airbnb, but I opted for the hotel, thinking I would have the option to leave my luggage there since my train was at 10 PM the next day. However, this shabby hotel didn't allow me to do so, as I had to retrieve all my baggage by 3:30 PM at the latest. It was quite embarrassing for exploring the city, and this detail wasn't specified on the website when I booked. The mattress with horrible springs led to a restless night's sleep. The rooftop was nothing like the pic

Cheap and convenient location wise but otherwise pretty bad. Our room was filthy, no air con and the fan didn’t work so couldn’t sleep, really noisy outside but again too hot to shut the windows and scary guests staying here throwing up and shouting all night - was staying with a male friend otherwise wouldn’t have felt safe

Very good location. Clean and tidy. Good value for money.

I made a great choice in staying here. Should I be passing through again, this will be my goto bed, beers, belly filling and bed spot in Melbourne; easy as!

Did not have high expectations for this hotel buy boy I'm wrong! The building was clean and so does the rooms. Didn't have any foul smell anywhere that u would expect on cheap hotel, it actually smells great the moment you walk inside. The shared bathroom was very clean too. Staff were very nice. Superb location. It was very near to trams stops and train station so going home is not a hassle!!
