Backpackers St. Pauli

The hostel is far from the city center. No elevator. I didn't get hot water in washroom, which was different in December. I asked to reserve a lower bed due to my recent knee injury but they refused to accommodate it. I'm never coming back here.

this place was crawling with bed bugs 🤢 gutted to have to give it a lower score cause of that because the kitchen facilities was fab and staff were super lovely. Bugger

Horrible experience. Reception closes at 8 pm so if you arrive later is nobody there, they didn’t tell me and i hadn’t a bed. Don’t recomend

Was die Freundlichkeit des Personals und die Lage betrifft, gibt's nichts zu bemängeln. Dennoch war die Aufenthalt in dem Hostel sehr anstrengend. Ein lebloses Hostel.Die Räume sind mega eng, was kein großes Problem wäre, wenn die anderen Gäste nett wären. Wenn aber die anderen entweder creeps, die den Raum nie verlassen, oder Junkies, die keine Rücksicht (mit Lärm und Unsauberkeit) auf die anderen nehmen, wirds zu einer unerträglichen Erfahrung. Ein weiteres Manko war der Mangel ...

Overpriced for a basic experience. Kitchen area was nice looking, but I never saw anyone in there. The street below was pretty noisy at least until 1am. Bathroom was quite cramped, but workable. Bed was fairly comfortable - nice soft pillow and mattress. No outlet by my bunk and no personal light. A person in my room had a storage cabinet that was attached only by one hinge, but mine was okay. Mediocre product, but workable for a short stay. I wouldn’t intentionally seek out this hostel again.

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, das Check-in und -out problemlos geklappt. Im Zimmer bekommt jeder einen Spind, allerdings haben ein paar kaputte, aber noch (schlecht) funktionierende Schlösser. Im gemischten Schlafsaal für 8 Personen hat man keine Vorhänge am Bett, insgesamt gab es ca. 3 Steckdosen für alle im Raum verteilt und ein kleines Badezimmer. Alle Betten quietschen bei kleinsten Bewegungen, sodass ein erholsamer Schlaf nicht möglich ist. Insgesamt waren wir nicht zufrieden.

Rather dirty, unconsiderate co-guests, noisy street out front, old and squeeky furniture party broken, and utterly basic bathroom without proper shower. Friendly staff but that’s about it - definitely too pricey for a very underwhelming stay.

I did not enjoy my stay here. It was very eerie, that could just be because it was Winter though. My main gripe was reception and/or lack of staff. Check in is 2pm-8pm which is insanity. I only saw one member of staff, he was nice and is trying his best. If you were to lose your check in card at night, you are royally screwed as there was no emergency number given.

Klasse Unterkunft, gern wieder. Alles Gute dem Betrieb.

Un buonissimo ostello in una della migliori zone di Amburgo.

We were in a 4 beds room and it's was perfect ! There is a locker in the bedroom (for free), the bathroom is very clean and the staff is soooo lovely (we arrived a bit later than expected because of the train and they kept everything open to welcome us) ! Highly recommand !

Klasse Unterkunft für wenig Geld, was will man mehr, die Lage sehr sehr zentral, alles auch fußläufig sehr gut erreichbar. eine gute Weiterempfehlung, ich werde/würde gerne wieder kommen. vielen Dank

Macht doch mal nen Haken für Zimmer 23 und 24 hin, wenn man sich schon ein Badezimmer mit zwei Dorms teilen muss ;) Zimmer 1 hat ja wohl nen eigenes Bad mit Aufhängung. Sollten ja alle das gleiche bekommen, wenn sie das gleiche buchen :p

Está un poco alejado de la estación de metro más cercana. 15 min caminando con nieve es bastante. Al personal del hostal lo ves al llegar y cuando entra a tu pieza a hacer el aseo y recoger sábanas de los que ya se fueron. Pocas opciones de desayuno cerca del hostal, así que es mejor comprar algo en el supermercado y usar la cocina. Lo demás, ok.

I really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely stay again! It’s very well located in the heart of St. Pauli, a vibrant and cultural area with bars, restaurants, and easy access to the city. The hostel has a great atmosphere, clean and fully equipped kitchen, and clean dorms. The only small downside is the lack of a mirror in the room, but it’s not a big issue. Friendly staff and excellent value. Highly recommended!

hostel und zimmer waren sehr sauber und ordentlich. personal freundlich. war zufrieden!

Wie haben uns super wohlgefühlt. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren schön gross und sauber. Lage in St. Pauli war top.

Super clean facilities. The kitchen is well prepared and big. Close to a lot of restaurants and bars but in a quiet street. It only lack a bit of socials events and space to chill out. Totally recomended for long stays.

Super Hostel, ich komme gerne wieder

Nettes Personal, gute Lage, sicheres System mit Schlüsselkarten, gute Atmosphäre. Einziger Minuspunkt war, dass ein Badezimmer für 7 Leute morgens manchmal für Wartezeiten gesorgt hat, aber nichts dramatisches.

Only stayed a night. Very chill not super social. Lots of noise outside on the street late at night. Woman at the front was very kind and upgraded me to a smaller room so I wouldn’t be the only girl. So kind

Ci ritornerei per il prezzo. Ma se fai ritardo per il check-in, puoi fare il self check-in (fino ad un certo orario) e non hai la chiave dell'armadio della stanza, e quindi la notte e il giorno dopo non puoi lasciare i tuoi bagagli custoditi. Chi prima arriva si sceglie il letto migliore e deve prepararlo e disfarlo da solo, con un po' di difficoltà se è quello in alto! I letti in alto sono senza barriere laterali e non sicuri. Consiglio di arrivare il prima possibile! Bagno in camera.

Mehr kann man sich von einem Hostel um den Preis nicht erwarten. Hab super geschlafen, Hostel und die Mitarbeiter geben ein familiäres Feeling und die Lage ist quasi mitten im echten Herzen Hamburgs.
