Camino Verde Hostel and B&B

+ The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The were definitely the bright spot during our stay.. Breakfast was also great.

- The rooms were very humid and smelled badly of mold and mildew. All of our clothes and bags felt wet from the humidity. If you have breathing problems or allergies this would be a dangerous place for you to stay. The hotel should invest in dehumidifiers. Also, there was only one trashcan in the very small room which was the one next to the toilet where you put your used toilet paper. We didn’t not want to throw away regular trash because it meant opening the lid to that can.

+ The common areas were nice and the breakfast was good, location close to all amenities

- The room was tiny and very dark. Only one small window gave right on the walls of neighbouring building and its staircase, with people often passing by. They could see into our room so we had to keep the curtains drawn at all times. It smelled of humidity so ventilation was bad. It felt like a basement or a broom storage. There was also no soundproofing so we heard all the neighbours and loud traffic from the road. Impossible to sleep without earplugs. No space to store our belongings. We could barely move around with the suitcase in the middle of the room. Overall, hard to rest in those conditions and it was very poor value for money. It really seems like they squeezed in as many rooms as possible. You get the comfort of a cheap hostel for the price of a 3 star.

- Chambre sans véritable ouverture en sous sol avec une odeur d’humidité constante - étant donné le prix cela n’est pas acceptable

- Nous avions une chambre sans fenêtre avec juste un petit soupirail à plus de 2 mètres du sol

+ La ubicación está cerca de Santa Elena pero en sitio tranquilo, unos cinco minutos andando al centro. Tiene parking propio muy cerca. Buena atención por parte de los empleados.

- La habitación olía mucho a humedad pues está en sótano con un pequeño patio con poca ventilación. Desayuno escaso de cantidad y calidad. Las instalaciones en general muy básicas.

+ Die Lage war ok, nah zum Nationalpark und zum Ort. Schöne Terrasse mit Blick ins Tal. Toller Gemeinschaftsraum, in dem mal abends sitzen kann, ins Gespräch mit andern Gästen kommt und seine eigenen Speisen und Getränke mitbringen kann.

- Die Zimmer rochen etwas muffig. Das Bad war sehr klein.

+ De locatie, aardig personeel, goed ontbijt, goede gemeenschappelijke ruimtes

- Kleine kamer, erg vochtig, kapotte matrassen en veel lawaai door de onderliggende weg.

- Todo me gustó. Tal vez faltaba lugar de guardado en la habitación. No tenía Placard.

+ Desayuno, habitación, ubicación, productos del baño, atención del personal, lugar.....TODO!!! Me encantaría volver a Costa Rica y tengo seguro que este alojamiento volvería y para quedarme más tiempo.

- Quedarme tan poco tiempo! No hay nada que calificar.

+ Zentrale Lage für Restaurants, Souvenir Shops und Aktivitäten. Sehr freundliches Personal. Saubere Zimmer, sehr gute Betten, täglich frische Handtücher und Zimmerservice. Klimamanlage, Decken- und Standventilator, Safe. Frühstück mit Ausfall von 4 Varianten, die frisch zubereitet werden und Buffet mit Außerwahl von Müsli, Marmelade, Früchten, Joghurt, Säften und Kaffee. Hoteleigener, kostenfreier Parkplatz direkt um die Ecke. Ebenso kleiner Supermarkt, größere direkt im Ort. Viele Restaurants zur Auswahl im Ort.

- Kein Kleiderschrank oder Kommode. Der Ort selbst ist sehr laut (Auto- und Motorradverkehr) und touristisch.

+ Gemoedelijk huiselijke sfeer

- Miste een koekakastje op de kamer. Maar dit kon gewonnen de keuken

+ Kleinschalige en nette accommodatie. Op het deck heb je een houtkachel die elke avond wordt aangestoken en waar andere gasten lekker met hun zelf meegenomen drankjes zitten en relaxen. Zo krijgt het een hele laidback en huiselijke sfeer.
