AVOID AT ALL COSTS! If I could leave no stars I would! Not a hostel, but self-contained apartments,name is misleading! As other reviews have said, curtains don’t fit, beds are so squeaky you only have to breathe deeply and they make a noise(!!) The “social” room is in a different building, open for select hours.Nobody goes there.Cats litter trays are out,haven’t been cleaned and stink. Old TV and sofas thick with dust. Piles of uncleaned dishes. I have photo proof as owner denies...

Overall this was a really great place to stay, the location is perfect and rooms were really spacious. However, the fact that it doesn’t have a proper reception is an issue. I was emailed a week before with instructions for our arrival which was great, however when we arrive no one was there to let us in. We were stood outside for 20+ minutes ringing the bell and the ‘emergency’ phone number we’d be provided. We must of called 10 times and no one answered. Eventually we were let inside b...

It's important to know this is *not* a hostel, even though it says 'hostel'. There are no common spaces at all, so it's impossible to meet other travelers. That really wasn't what we expected. The staff did their best, but the description and photos are very misleading. The apartments are quite big and have amazing view, although I'd say the place is quite run-down (squeaky floors quite bothering).

Location is good in city centre. It's a Apartment hotel, not exactly a hostel. No hostel vibes and no socialising. An old apartment building transformed into the hostel. Overall staying there was pleasant experience.

Shower head should be higher

Extremely huge room which was super nice. Was clean and had a very nice bathroom. You get your own keys for 2 doors into your room so it’s nice and secure. Outside of the room it’s kind of weird. Not exactly dirty but prison like. We were also charged with a few mystery fees after which is never fun. Overall other than the fees, for the location and price it’s a solid hostel and i’d probably stay again.

la ubicación es excelente, la logistica para el check-in un poco tediosa porque el horario es acotado, no tienen un horario amplio de recepción. estábamos en un apartamento a la vuelta del hostel, con vista a la Catedral de San Esteban, a mínutos andando del Puente de las cadenas. el colchón era tan fino que tocábamos las maderas al acostarnos. Mejorable

Fantastic location. No AC so if it’s a summer stay prepare for sweaty nights. No Common areas but the apartment is well kitted out.

I stayed in an apartment-style room with a full kitchen. The space was a bit dated but completely functional. The location was excellent, and the building felt secure. Overall, a convenient and comfortable stay — I would happily stay here again.

Super accommodating staff. You can tell a lot of love and effort has been put into this hostel. We were given a gigantic room with a great view of the Stephen's cathedral. The room we were given had literally everything and was super clean.

We were extremely fortunate to be offered an 8th floor flat with fabulous view of the Basilica. It was very hot but there was air con. It was quiet as we were so high! The flat was spacious and everything worked well. We would thoroughly recommend Pals to anyone. The location is superb and we walked to many of the main sites of interest

The best location possible. Basic rooms but fairly clean and with all you need for a great time in Budapest.

J’ai pris une chambre seule, un appartement en duplex au dernier étage d’un immeuble je logeais en bas avec wc et salle de bas privative, d’autres voyageurs logeaient au dessus, tout s’est bien passé. C’est très propre, l’espace salon très agréable avec une belle vue sur la basilique St Stephen, cuisine équipée, en plein centre ville, métro, tram et bus à côté. Lieu idéal pour être tranquille mais pas possible de faire des rencontres car l’hostel est dans un autre imme...

we booked an entire apartment with multiple rooms, could not have asked for a better location or set up! really great value.

Amazing! Definitely recommend if you’re after a fantastic location and lovely staff. We were sad to leave!

Super hostel ! Nous avons logé dans un des appartements, hyper spacieux et très bien équipé. Le personnel est hyper réactif et accueillant.
