Great local place for ppl, but they CAN just walk right into the lodging area, so the one locked door makes zero difference. Cash only bar, no solar/batteries either. FREEZING room with windows left open prior to arrival with minimal bedding. Couldn't order desired item b/c no electricity, which I get, but when I asked what I could get, the guy shrugged and said maybe soup (which didn't make sense). Then I saw other people w/pizza made by fire. So, only locals get that? I wouldn't revisit.

I recently stayed at here during my travels, and unfortunately, it left much to be desired. While the location was convenient and the price was affordable, the overall experience was quite average. The cleanliness of the hostel was subpar; it seemed like the cleaning staff didn't pay much attention to detail. The bathrooms were passable but not well-maintained.

The management and staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a good stay, even helping to drive me to an activity. There are no lockers to store luggage. The food there was great and you can’t beat the ocean view from the room, but the road to get there is a bit off the beaten path

Cool place. No real place to work on computer except restaurant area which has no plug ins and is busy. Staff nice, fun atmosphere, great view of beach and ocean. Quick access

The location gives you a beautiful view and easy access to enjoy the beach. A big doorm with no space for privacy and a small, shared toilet area. The shower was clogged which was not very nice. Staff could have been more positive and engaging, they do have a restaurant though where you can connect with other travelers.

The hostel is in a great location with amazing views. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the place is clean. The showers are a frosted glass window from top to bottom so it doesn’t feel like you have any privacy while showering in the small bathroom.

Cool space and great atmosphere. The pizza oven is nice but the whole house smells like fire every morning 😅

I had a really good stay here -dorms were spacious and clean with an amazing balcony looking over the beach. The bar was really nice with good food and also an incredible beach view. The only criticism is the showers just have a frosted glass window which looks out into the bathrooms so not much privacy

The owner is really friendly and helpful. The view and atmosphere is spectacular!

Stunning views from the dorm, an absolutely chill place to sleep like a baby with the sound of the ocean in the background. I went in winter, so hardly any other travelers were there, but the hostel is really really good. They offer food, drinks, karaoke, and a pool right next door. The kitchen is super small.

Amazing value for money, comfortable room with great views. The bar area was ideal with decent pizza and the best views of Wilderness beach! Only thing to improve would be the curtains as don’t stop light getting in but otherwise was perfect!
