Bokre Angkor Hostel

This hostel stole money from me. They double charged me my credit card and for over 6 months promised that they would refund me, but never have (it has been almost 1 year now). This hostel is also not social whatsoever. Shared rooms were like 40 degrees with a small fan that did nothing. I also stayed in a private room for 1 night which did have AC which was leaking all night. The staff consistently have information about the tours. Would not recommend.

il punto di forza dell'ostello è l'area comune, piscina carina e spazi accoglienti. livello di pulizia molto basso, c'erano polvere e insetti nelle stanze. bagni sporchi e con poca manutenzione. la camerata ha la finestra murata e non ha le tendine, quindi nessuna privacy e odori stagnanti. quando siamo arrivati era evidente che non avessero pulito la stanza, c'erano letti disfatti non più occupati e mancava la carta igienica in bagno, che comunque era molto sporco.

Strongly do not recommend booking tours through this hostel. They are shared with other hostels/hotels and Bokre is the first pick up so you spend almost an hour just driving around Siem reap picking other people up. After the final pick up I checked googlemaps and we were a 5 minute drive from Bokre!

Nice place with a very nice and gentle staff. The room was ok, basic but comfortable. It’s slightly outside the city center but it’s still walking distance. It’s an OK option

it was nice to have a private room. one of the receptionist was really nice the other one seemed a bit unfriendly and offended. They suggest to offer a lot of services but in the end tou have to pay for everything and the prices are around 30% above what i found in the city. but the room was nice

Okay hostel, but no real atmosphere.

The only thing that concerns me is the possibility of a $200 charge for a broken TV remote. And can’t eat in room and there’s a menu next to the bed. Does that mean I can’t eat leftovers? And I thought there was a refrigerator also a microwave. Possibly I misread.

Everything was alright, the service was very good and the staff helped with all the problems. Nice but small pool area. When we extended our stay they charged us more per night than we payed in advance, we didn’t know this. Would recommend overall!

This place is ok.

Team were really good, however the hostel facilities and general upkeep could have been a lot better. Hostel had no real atmosphere, so was probably not the right thing for our group but could perhaps be suited more towards couples or those looking for a quieter experience.

Such a cute little hostel. I was staying in the private room, and it was so lovely and clean. The bed was comfortable and a great way to hide from the heat with AC. The cold filtered water dispensers on every floor was such a nice touch. The cafe downstairs is a bit pricey, but the food is good and the staff are lovely.

Lovely room and the staff were super friendly. Chilled atmosphere.

Such a lovely team at the property, who were all so welcoming and kind. The pool is lovely to cool off in after a day of temple hopping or sightseeing. Not super social, but I don’t think it is designed to be. The private rooms are also amazing value for money with LOADS of space!

Das Hostel war sehr angenehm. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man erhält ein Tuch und die Zimmer sind sehr gut und auch klimatisiert. Die Badezimmer waren auch sehr sauber. Uns hat der Aufenthalt im Bokre Angkor sehr gut gefallen :).

All the staff were so wonderful which made our experience so good. The location is good and off the main centre so is nice and quiet, and the pool area is really lovely to relax in the heat. We ordered food which was very reasonably priced and very delicious. Thank you for a lovely stay and thank you to all the staff!

Perfect place to stay of you are looking to get some good rest. I stayed in a private room for a very good price. The place is nicely decorated and the staff are very friendly. The only downside is that it is a bit further from the centre than other hostels, but it is still walkable and there are always tuk tuks around

The hostel is very nice. The staff are the sweetest and very helpfull.

Das Bokre Angkor Wat liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, Der Pool ist klein, aber hübsch und erfrischend. Man kann dort gut chillen. Die Zimmer sind schlicht , aber für den Preis ok.

Staff nice and helpful, wide range of opportunities to visit the temples and the region of Siem Reap, great food, beautiful lobby and clean ancillary areas. Cozy bedroom, quiet, clean and tidy. If I hade to come back to Siem Reap, I will choice to this accomodation once again for sure.

Great hostel, with amazing staff. Always available and usefull.

Overall good hostel. Was lovely and clean the staff were very nice and accomodating. Not a very social hostel at all I stayed here for 4 nights and in total only 1 person spoke to me Evernote else constantly had curtains closed and didn’t talk. If you want somewhere near good food places I wouldn’t recommend here as it was like a 20 minutes walk to any good food and restaurants. Booked the floating village tour through the hostel and was very good.

Insgesamt sauberes Hostel und super nettes Personal. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer mit dem ich sehr zufrieden war. Leider wenige bis keine Angebote zu. Socializen. Der angebotene Shuttle Service zum Flughafen ist super.

Highly recommended! One of best hostels I have stayed in. The staff is welcome and attentive l. They are committed to help you have a pleasant stay. The pool is small but still great to cool off after doing a tour of Angkor Wat. It’s about 15 minute walk from the main tourist area in town. Also, there is also a nice coffee shop across the street.

Nice hostel with pleasant common areas, outdoor space, and several small balconies. Free water refill and scooter rental available. The rooms are good, with comfortable beds, large lockers, and good AC. Unfortunately, the bathrooms, both in rooms and shared areas, are quite poor. They’re dirty, leaking showers, clogged drains causing puddles, and only rain showers. Location is good, but a 20 min walk to the main center.
