Quiet location but bad staff
Voyageur régulier d’auberges, c’est la première fois que je mets 1 étoile. Le bénévole applique les règles sans aucune souplesse. Impossible de cuisiner car un groupe monopolisait la cuisine et le gaz est coupé ensuite. J’ai demandé une simple exception pour un repas de 10 min : refusé. Résultat, nourriture jetée, pas de dîner. Très mauvaise expérience.
Regular traveler of hostels, this is the first time I give 1 star. The volunteer applies the rules without any flexibility. Impossible to cook because one group monopolized the kitchen and the gas is then cut off. I asked for a simple exception for a 10 minute meal: refused. Result, food thrown away, no dinner. Very bad experience.
I booked for 7 nights and wanted to leave after 2 nights but found out that I wouldn't get a refund for the 7 nights i payed for. Didn't know that before i paid unfortunately. the place was really cold and i ended up getting sick. I just dont get why its rated so highly.
The air conditioner was not working and i had to sleep 34° temp it was like sleeping ia an oven. The toilet was not so clean and very small. Room looked like a mess. The fan was spinning probably at the lowest speed and no one ever informed how to turn it up. I stayed in another hostel in thessaloniki for the same price closer to the center. Had a working ac, better facilities and much cleaner
No ac, expensive for what you get, room was full of mosquitos and we were bitten all night, barely slept. The place is "eco friendly" so you dont have hot water all the time, you need to wait 20 min minimum to get water after turning the heater on
My bed still had used sheets on, there is not enough toilet paper in the bathroom, there are not enough showers (you have to wait quite long), the showers are half open, the kitchen is closed until 9:00 which is sad for eating breakfast, the common area closes at 22:00. So the only option after that is to stay in your bed where thousands of mosquitoes bite you. I do Not recommend
Hice una reserva online de una habitación completa con 5 camas y un baño privado. Al llegar nos encontramos que esto no iba a ser así, nos daban dos camas en una habitación con 3 personas ajenas a nuestro grupo de amigos y otra habitación en la que se quedaban nuestros 3 amigos más otra persona. I made an online reservation for a full room with 5 beds and a private bathroom. upon arrival we found that this was not going to be the case, we were given two beds in a room with 3 people outside our group of friends and another room where our 3 friends plus another person stayed. we managed to change and finally all shared a single room without any strangers but having to do without one of the beds. ultimately, they did not fulfill the agreement in the reservation.
They put me in a bed with air cooler 30 cm over my head. Impossibile to sleep. 17 euro trown away.
Hi, I didn’t like the hostel at all. The matress not good, the cortains of the shower were so dirty! I couldn’t dare to take a shower. And when i woke up i found some insect on my bed. I took a pic.
All the staff are really nice and kind but the hostel is really bad, small, with a very bad location and so unclean.

Buen hostel. Cómodo con buenas instalaciones y excelente limpieza. Buen ambiente y el staff muy amable. La ubicación está correcta (a unos 20 minutos caminando del centro y cerca de la fortaleza).

Great Hostel with a hard working crew keeping the place spotless. Good location, close to bus stops, markets, and cheap eats. Great lookout on the city and Mount Olympus in the distance. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming to all. A great hangout in the real Greece. Eugene
O hostel foi perfeito. Os voluntários extremamente competentes e simpáticos, alem de companheiros de boteco. Ótimo hostel para socializar e fazer amigos. Bem localizado (25min a pé da estação de trem/onibus) e fica no bairro Ano Poli (ótimos restaurantes por perto, como o Redivivo). Fiquei em um quarto compartilhado com 5 pessoas ao todo. O banheiro é ótimo, reservado e limpo. O local tem lavanderia paga e uma cozinha completa. Talvez a única coisa que peca é que a área c...
The hostel was perfect. the volunteers extremely competent and friendly, plus fellow boaters. great hostel to socialize and make friends. well located (25min walk from train/onibus station) and located in the Ano Poli neighborhood (great restaurants nearby, like o Redivivo). i stayed in a shared room with 5 people in total. the bathroom is great, reserved and clean. the local has a paid laundry and a full kitchen. maybe the only thing that sucks is that the common area closes at 22:00.

I love the vibes of this hostel.Excellent staff,great location. This time we all went together to these restaurants nearby in the traditional part of Ano Poli.They are lovely. I will be back in September. Love
The Hostel has a serene energy,Staff very kind, I had everything I needed. The location is great, the accommodation is clean, in a quiet building. The peace and quiet are so great and this place feels like a caress of the Soul. I recommend!

A very cosy space near the centre of Thessaloniki, with very nice spaces for backpackers to hang out in the evening, both inside and out.
I really enjoyed my stay there:) i like the inside & outside area where u can socialize. The Beds r a lil bit hard for my opinion but thats okay haha everyone working there is super nice! Walk to the citycenter is 15min which is good and the hostel is in a quiet are. I would go again:)
Good hostel with great staff. Located up a hill in the old quarter. Parking is provided through on-street parking nearby. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. Would recommend!
stay is amazing
staff is wonderful, very friendly people, went to a few parties together.. facilities need a bit renovation and the location is a bit in the hills but none of that is really a big problem
The room is very small for 4 girls. The beds are practically inches from each other. The bed sheets smelled like wet clothes. The bathroom stinked the first day I was there but I think that was due one of the roommates. You have to go up a steep hill to get there so just be aware for anyone that needs accessibility.
Young staff, who are on temporary contracts, are helpful and the atmosphere is relaxed and definitely not a party hostel. Only disappointment was the ensuite dorm area which was very cramped and with the toilet facing the wash basin and only a few inches apart from it.
A very cozy and welcoming hostel! Be prepared to walk down and up the hills from the center of Thessaloniki.
