Deep Sleep Hostel Bangkok

- Tras reservar, el establecimiento te manda un mensaje diciendo que hay que dejar 500bahts de fianza (ya no podíamos cancelar pero no lo especifican en ningún sitio). Al llegar hay dos edificios enfrente uno de otro, nos dijeron que teníamos que ir a uno de ellos que es un weed café básicamente. En la planta de abajo donde recepción muchos chicos fumando marihuana con el olor secundario. Nos pregunta el de recepción si estamos ok con ese olor con lo que decimos que no, que nos molesta ya que NO fumamos. Nos dice que lo siente pero que por la tarde y noche en la terraza, es decir, en la puerta de la habitación donde dormíamos, iban a hacer una weed party e iba a oler bastante, sin darnos alternativas. La habitación mal, pequeña, sábanas bajeras con manchas, colchón incómodo, sin sábanas, únicamente una manta para taparse de dudosa limpieza. Los baños en otra planta, agua fria, no caliente. En fin, menos mal que estuvimos solo unas horas.

- Very bad...for smoking 1 cigarette they charge 5000 baht. It's really fucking sheet of rule.dont suggest anyone.

+ Rempli de cannabis, n’emmenez pas des personnes jeunes et influençables là-bas s’il vous plaît c’est dangereux !

- La douche n’est pas dans un bon état, le quartier craint, même pour les chambres de luxe il n’y a qu’une couverture ! L’omniprésence de l’odeur du cannnabis, je vous assure fuyez !

+ Volunteers good. Cleaning staff good. Good location, many hostels everywhere. All same priced but family run, this place feels corporate.

- Key card bulky no way to attach to key ring, 500 baht (15usd) fine if lost, used to turn on room electricity - everyone hates this. Run like a corporation, not like a family Chinese owned (via america). I did not know but I should support Thai owned businesses so i feel bad. Chinese never leave hostel, smoke all day at enterance, and camera in dorm rooms very weird. Paid english speaking staff are not Thai and no local knowledge beyond google searches. All activities are only volunteer staff participants, Not much fun and waste of money. The "learning Thai" canceled cause no one is bilingual working there. Overall, the camera in the dorm rooms is very creepy and key card a big nuisance. But so much in Thailand is Chinese owned, I really wish i stayed at a local thai family run guesthouse.

- I don't like anymore, I don't know why they turn off the air conditioner while it is very hot. Wifi is very bad.

+ There is spacious and clean seating in front of the lobby, where you could sit all day if you weren't going anywhere.

- Shared rooms should have curtains between each bed. The absence of curtains causes the room lights to be too bright, disturbing others, and the bedside lamps cannot be turned on.

+ Very friendly staff, rooms are very clean and cozy

+ Staff were great , I stayed longer than expected due to a cancelled flight and got my room upgraded . Kevina the rep is such a sweet girl made me feel so welcome

+ Very clean and the staff were really helpful especially lynn remember my name every morning and made a wonderful morning coffee, service with a smile hope to see the staff again

- Very relaxing noise level late at night was respectable and air conditioning in the room was a blessing at night

+ I love the Staffs, especially Lyann, she’s so supportive and fun. I liked the coffee and the internet was ok. The price is good.

- I found the hostel to be very unclean overall, the beds are not comfortable. No hot shower. But ESPECIALLY THE ELETRICITY of the room, the system is not good, if you are on the top of the bed and going to leave in the night (you need your card to get back, so you bring it with you) and then you have no light, to come downstairs and walk to the door. You can’t leave anything charging neither. I’ve seen that one night all bathrooms of all floors were without toilet paper for many hours.

+ Bon hostel, seul bémol la prise électrique qui ne s’active qu’avec la carte de chambre connectée, pas pratique pour charger son téléphone. Sinon hostel social et plutôt confortable.
