Vous ronflez et savez que vous pouvez déranger le sommeil des autres, VOUS NE RESERVEZ PAS UNE CHAMBRE EN DORTOIR. Pour le prix, réservez plutôt une chambre individuelle en auberge, cela vous évitera ce genre de désagrément. Non è un hostello, la cucina non ha il minimo di atrezzature, solo microonde senza contenitori, tutto per obbligarti ad andare al ristorante carissimo. Da evitare assolutamente.

Dare una stella è anche troppo, ma meno non si può. La cucina comune non dà la possibilità di cucinare né con il gas, né con l elettrico né con il microonde che c è ma mancano i contenitori per mettere il cibo. Evidentemente vogliono spellare i clienti facendoli obbligatoriamente mangiare nel loro ristorante che, oltre ad essere esoso, da anche poca scelta nel menù. Personale che respira ma non sa fare altro. I letti a castello superiori sono difficili da raggiungere.

Bathrooms and rooms were not clean. Comparison to other lovely hostels in Iceland Midgard Base Camp was a big disappointment considering the price was so similar. We also did not experience the hospitality that is advertise.

Would not stay here again. Everything so different in person compared to the photos, it feels like a scam. Hot tub is tiny like a child’s water tub, not working, water is cold and near empty. Spoke with front desk manager who said she is aware of this and that it’s the town’s fault for not having hot water and there is nothing she can do to make it right… room is mediocre, smell like urine, poor insulation from weather and noise, spiders inside… would not stay here again (especially fo...

Bedden zijn steenhard, ijzeren frame met een houten plaat erop en een matras als “bed”. Kamers zijn goed warm, de verwarming (geothermisch) staat hier altijd aan. De hottub en sauna op het dak zijn leuk, maar niet echt uniek of ontspannend het is er namelijk druk. Het eten is er goed en het personeel is vriendelijk (soms zelfs iets te gemaakt vriendelijk, op z’n Amerikaans).
