9 Hostel Chiang Mai

+ Location was good. Near laundry and 711 etc. Manager was friendly.

- We had an ant infestation. It wasn't easy to sort it out. Apparently it was the first time they had seen it. We had to complain 3 times. Even after a "deep clean" there were still ants. Weird condom joke sign on the toilet door. Odd.

- נכנסתי לחדר באחד מהימים ששהייתי בהוסטל , ולצערי מצאתי חתולה יושבת על המיטה שלי , הייתי בהלם , לא הבנתי מאיפה היא נכנסה , יש לציין כי הייתי בחדר פרטי , החדר מאוד מיושן , לא מומלץ לשהייה מעבר ללילה/שתיים מקסימום

+ Don’t book this place if you came do check in before 6pm as you will not get a room who has accommodation near a Airport and closes check in at 6pm avoid if ur wanting a stopover sleep if waiting for a flight not accommodation at all

- Check in to help customers not a email saying we can’t accept late check in

+ Not good at all ,toilets terribly only one shower working no tea or coffee had to put deposit down for bedding, would nor recommend at all

+ I didn’t like a single thing. The place was just one big rat hole.

- I have travelled a lot and stayed in countless places, but I have never encountered such sheer unfriendliness and lack of hospitality. I asked the owner a few simple questions, and all I got was attitude. He is unbelievably rude, so if you have any questions, keep them to yourself - or better yet, just stay far away from this place. The owner clearly looks like he’s tired of life and should either find a new job or retire immediately. I honestly don’t know why he’s in hospitality at all, because he is anything but hospitable. The rooms are disgusting. The walls are filthy, the beds are old and hard. There’s no AC, only a fan, which is loud enough to keep you awake all night. The bathroom door doesn’t even close properly, so if you’re looking for a “poop party” with strangers, this is the place for you. The cleaning lady doesn’t clean properly at all. I was once in the room while she was ‘cleaning,’ and it was just superficial at best. So be prepared to be surrounded by other people’s filth. Thanks but no thanks😷

- Worst experience ever. I booked a dorm on booking and wrote a message that I would be arriving at 9PM. I got a message that I should arrive at 8PM, which I did. When I arrived, the receptionist himself was not there. I asked his friend, who was working instead of him to make a call to talk to me him and asked about the situation. He just told me to cancel the booking and shouted "fuck you" when I asked why. Had to look for another place to stay in the end. Terrible experience

+ Ubicación, pero hay muchos otros alojamientos con buena ubicación.

- Todo. Desde que vendieron la habitación Twin que teniamos contratada y nos dieron una Doble. Hasta que el personal de forma borde no nos quiso dar explicaciones y no paraba de repetir que nos fuesemos y nos devolvía el dinero (despues de llegar de viaje a las 20h, ponte a buscar un nuevo alojamiento...) Por último, el hotel es el de las fotos pero cuando estaba renovado, ahora esta muy viejo, mal mantenido y sucio. NO lo recomiendo, ni regreso jamas. Otras noches estuvimos en otro por precios similares y mejores condiciones.

+ Lo mejor la ubicación, muy céntrico.

- No había agua caliente para ducharse, la limpieza escasa ya que todo estaba con moho como el baño y la ducha, las camas muy sucias también

- Llegamos alrededor de las 9.30pm porque nuestro vuelo se retrasó y ya le habíamos avisado al hotel. Sin embargo, cuando llegamos el señor estaba molesto y nos atendió muy mal. No aceptaba preguntas y respondía de mala gana. Entramos a la habitación y es demasiado sucio. La puerta de la ducha parece que nunca la limpian y cuando fuimos a usar la ducha, corría agua con barro (se nota que no lo lavan). Las toallas huelen a húmedo. Al día siguiente, salíamos a las 7.30am a una excursión y necesitábamos usar el servicio de guardamaletas pero estaba cerrado, no había nadie en la recepción y no nos respondieron al número de teléfono que tienen para "emergencias". Nos tocó irnos con equipaje y todo. Muy mala experiencia especialmente por el mal trato de parte del staff

+ BAD BAD BAD! We arrived late from a flight and we let the property know this, however when we arrived, both very tired, there was no one at the reception to check us in! The phone numbers provided didn’t work and we had to find emergency accommodation with little notice. I messaged the property again to no response! I am very disappointed with this and I am going to take this further with booking.com! Do not stay at this place.

+ Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Basic, with everything you need including a comfortable bed.

+ Room was cozy, location was near to everything.

- I wished they gave us more than 1 pillow.

- Horrible nuit dans cet hostel, avec des gens irrespectueux et la salle de bain en plein milieu de la chambre. Les gens qui entrent à 3h du matin allument la lumière pour se laver les dents…
