Tam Coc Tuong Vy Homestay

I booked this hostel and the lady there was very nice, however when we arrived she took us to our room in another hostel across the road operated by her brother. Her brother was not nice. He has an aggressive sales attitude, we were questioned about us taking washing to the launderette, he was angry when we complained about a bike he gave us, and we noticed him laughing at us with his friends a couple of times. He did not make us feel welcome or comfortable.

Overall, the homestay was okay. Unfortunately it was not even once cleaned during the three days that we stayed. We were also charged more money than it said on the website. The scooter we rented was also not the best, we had to put new gasoline inside every 20 minutes.

Very helpful host

Sweet lady we got a room in the homestay next door which was nice! Were able to sleep in the massage salon after arriving early. The communication about having to pay for that was not great, but we did not mind! Sweet lady but very pressing about ordering the bus, which made us feel hasty a bit. Further great stay!

We had a little issue with the room, which was smelling bad (some drain/sewer issue). But they menaged to solve it in 40 minutes (we had to wait outside the room) and no more smell. The owner, her daughter and her mother are friendly, at some point kind of overly friendly. They are really trying to make a "home"stay "home". Pick this place if you like being a family member (hugs, hair petting etc).

lovely homestay - not very social but great place to relax and decompress. brilliant view and cute balcony with bonzi trees. hosts are so helpful and kind, can rent bicycle and scooter as well to explore.

Difficult to review as we booked a superior double room with private en-suite but got farmed out to stay next door but one in a different hostel with shared bathroom. Nothing superior about it but clean and helpful.

Overall really enjoyed our stay here, however we were also very confused upon arrival because we may have either been overbooked or the hostel was under construction? We ended up staying at another hostel down the street which was unusual, however the owner at this homestay was still very helpful and messaged us to make sure we had everything we needed! However we would have appreciated more communication because it was very confusing being put in a different hostel than we booked.

The hostess was the cutest ever. Very kind, welcoming and helpful. The hostel is very central, but in a peaceful location. Our original room were under renovation so we got upgraded to a more luxurious room for free which included breakfast. Very generous. I would totally recommend this place for your stay in Tam Coc!

We had a really good time staying here, really nice and clean room and the lady of the homestay was really kind. One of us was sick during our stay and she did a lot to help us. Would definitely recommend this place!!

It was probably one of the nicest hostels we have stayed due to the staff. It was a mother and daughter and we felt so welcomed and that they were grateful to have us there. Definitely recommend for a quite chilled homestay with lovely staff. The daughter’s english was amazing too for being so young!

Tuong Vy is such a friendly host, always had a smile on her face and always happy to help. The rooms are big and spacious and very clean. A short walk to the Main Street, would definitely recommend this place

We had a great stay! Tuong Vy was such a wonderful host. She cooked us an amazing meal and getting to eat with her family was a real treat. The bed was a bit hard, but we were given blankets which really helped. Thanks for everything Tuong Vy, we had a great time. Tell Hana to watch My Neighbor Totoro! We think she'd love it.

Lovely hosts who will help you with anything you need. Nice clean rooms and good price. Highly recommend.

Wir hatten einen super tollen Aufenthalt! Das Bett war riesig und Inhaberin war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Nous avons été très bien reçu, notre chambre était grande et les déjeuners étaient très bons. L'emplacement était très bien!

Wir waren nicht direkt in der Unterkunft, weil es dort irgendein Problem gab, aber es wurde sich direkt um tollen Ersatz gekümmert und wir würden in einer anderen Unterkunft, die wirklich toll war untergebracht. Die Owner sind wirklich super nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und wir haben dort Fahrräder geliehen.

Incredible place to stay! The family are super friendly and welcoming and super easy to get around Tam Coc.

The lady running this place was really nice and friendly. She wasn't that good at English but google translate worked like a charm. She woke up earlier to make us breakfast when our bus leaved earlier. The room was really nice(we booked a private room). Well worth the money and really cozy place!
