Downtown Backpacker Hostel

The staff was very unfriendly and the bed was quite hard. There were also a lot of ants crawling around in the room.

The Location is really good but the laundry service is horrible(myclothes shrunkandthestitcheswereripped) and the staff isn't helpful when you have problems. Also the bikes are in bad condition. I wouldn't go there again and I also wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Beds rock solid so could barely sleep Aircon didn’t work so room was boiling Staff not very friendly Woke up with what looked like bed bug bites Bed didn’t have a cupboard or locker like other peoples did so nowhere to put your things even though it’s advertised that every bed has this Would not recommend, there are nicer hostels for the same price in the area

Me and my friends were given a room with no working door. It wouldn’t close so we had cold air (cause it’s winter)coming in the whole night and there was no heating.The beds were as hard as rock, the sheets were very thin so we were freezing and when we asked the owner for one more blanket each and she very rudely refused. I left a night early with no refund for that night given.Brian and Anna were great, they tried to help us but with no luck. I’m sure it’s better in the summer but not ...

Worst hostel experience. Very bad staff, they don’t know how to deal with their guests. They keep getting angry. They shouldn’t do the work if they don’t enjoy it. Worst hostel experience so far on Vietnam trip.

À FUIR !! Un accueil déplorable sans un sourire, des chambres glaciales à cause de la climatisation, de l’eau froide et surtout une mauvaise foi de la part des gérants. Le lieu est correct mais pour le même prix on trouve 100000x mieux !!

Vind het te duur voor wat je ervoor krijgt. Kamers zijn niet schoon, worden niet goed onderhouden en de bedden zijn ook niet fijn. Daarnaast staat er dat er 24 uurs receptie is, maar wilde om 6 uur uitchecken en was niemand te bekennen

Great location, very central and a 2 min walk from Banana Tree which is kind of the meeting point in Tam Coc. However dorms were really not good, very hard matress, no sound proofing so you hear basically everything that goes on in the Hostel , showers had no water pressure and had to share one for like 10 people ! Toilets also happened to be in the shower so that was also very convenient… No social activities

People that complain get their booking cancelled so they can not give a bad rating. The employees are unfriendly, they lie in your face, they don't care about your well-being, no toilet paper in the bathrooms, smelly rooms. The location is really good though

Hostel was fine however during my stay the big light in my dorm would only work occasionally which was quite annoying. Pool was also extremely dirty which was fine for me as I wasn’t planning on swimming. Overall I guess you get what you pay for and for the price and included breakfast it’s good.

Its a family run hostel who are lovely and extremely helpful. Very easy and helpful to book buses/activities through them at the hostel. Facilities were clean and rooms were spacious. Would recommend!

lost a top when the washing was done, got told it hadnt even been washed (it had). didnt make any effort to help and find it. cleaner also tried to bin my clothes when they were in the dorm room. apart from the staff it was ok. red ants were also found in the beds.

There were ants in our room. Pool was empty when we were there. Would’ve been much better if the pool was full and it had some social events on.

The staff were lovely and very helpful with booking our next leg of travel. Food was decent, lots of options, free pool table but don’t be mislead by the photo of the swimming pool as it looked like a nuclear waste plant put their spare green goo in it. A few ants on the floor of the room which is never ideal. People lovely, facilities below expectations. The photo is a tad catfishy.

Lovely place and brilliant staff- very helpful and provide any facilities you could need.

Definitly one of the nicer hostels I’ve stayed in everything was clean and the staff here are super friendly and helpful and it is less than a minute to the main square

Nothing special. Would not go there again if I had the option.

No key for the room, had to make up 1/2 of the beds we booked. Top bunk is very unsafe and difficult to climb into. No curtains next to the window ( thankfully not my bed ) pool was green. 1 shower toilet cubical for 16 people. Downstairs rooms looked a lot better but upstairs rooms were not very nice. Lady at counter was lovely and welcoming. The only good thing about the hostel

Je krijgt voor wat je betaald. Dunne harde bedden en vieze badkamer. Verder wel prima hostel de locatie is top

Very central hostel on the quieter side. Nice breakfast, pool and hot showers! Extremely good value for money !

Good solid hostel with nice staff. Rooms are basic but functional and the location is pretty ideal too

The property is not bad, you get what you pay for. The lady working there was lovely and friendly. The breakfast was alright for a free breakfast. The room was very cold and the blankets are quite thin, think this is just unfortunate for the time of year I was here and the bed is very very hard. They are very kind to ler guests check in early after overnight buses but we were woken very early because the girl who checked in was coming in and out numerous times and the door gets stuck and slams.

This is definitely a “you get what you pay for” hostel. It is quite cheap ($4 USD in January). There is a bed with a curtain. Other than that, I don’t have much good to say. It looked sort of abandoned when I arrived at 7pm. The bathroom in the room smelled strongly of urine. The lockers were not big enough to lock up my backpack. And there was construction literally right next door that started at 6am (which I understand is not their fault, but it would have been nice to have a warning).
