Anza Surfhouse

The dorm was too small for 8beds every one was tripping over each other and no secure lockers for our backpack the rucksacks lying everywhere the dorm should only have 4 beds and not suitable for sleeping 8people the breakfast area was uncomfortable with rain coming in it had no roof so breakfast on the rooftop it was nice and comfortable with plenty of space and sofas

The hot water was out for 2 1/2 days of my 5 day visit. On the 3rd day work commenced on the ground floor( I assume the hostel is expanding) ....there was no alert or mention of this noisy drilling and construction upon booking or by my check-in. To be fair, for such a tumult, they should have at least notified (potential) guests, if not closed the place for the duration of construction. Toilet paper ran out several times. Security basically does not exist at this hostel.

Overall, super nice place and great atmosphere. The village of Anza is super nice, and the place fosters a really good community vibe which is super inclusive. It's not all surfers, so don't be intimidated if you aren't one. The only issue was cleaning could be really weak - filthy kitchen, dirty showers, smelly drains, doss-house vibe on upstairs terrace. But otherwise, it's a great place to go and relax for some days and I'd recommend over most of the ones in down the road in Surftown

Hostel was in a good location, very close to the beach and easy to get taxis to other places. The shared dorm was nice and beds were comfortable. There were some ants in the room and in the kitchen draws. There was a good selection of food for breakfast. I would warn you to triple check if you have dietary restrictions. As I was given daily after being told the food didn’t have any in it. Also, for anyone who may be allergic they do have a cat and her kittens on the terrace

Honestly felt excluded by the staff from the “family environment” they say the foster. Also rented me a cracked softboard then upset when it inevitably got worse while surfing. Told them I wanted to go sand boarding with the crew that night and when it came time to go they said there wasn’t room, but two girls had literally just joined, and I was the only person they said couldn’t fit in a 15 person van. They squeezed people in the night before but I just didn’t feel welcomed. They als...

The staff are helpful and create a fun atmosphere. The breakfast was awesome.

The guys were lovely and friendly. I’ll be there one more time in the next summer. And this part of the city was gorgeous. Local people were very friendly. There is just one problem, there is a huge distance between airport and hostel(part of the city). You pay 25-30€ for an airport transfer. I paid 25 in first. And second one was 30. Should be careful about taxis in the whole world.

Hostel is really nice. Staff is the friendliest I‘ve ever encountered (keep up the smile bro). It’s clean, has new showers and toilettes and a really nice comfy rooftop. Can only recommend it.

This might’ve been the coolest Hostel I’ve ever been to🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️ The staff are so welcoming and open that it feels more like you’ve been friends for a long time! I usually don’t leave feedback but I need to recommend this hostel to whoever is looking for a good time in Anza!!

The place is amazing, it takes you in and with the staff being so much fun and really helpfull I would recommend everyone to choose this place. They make sure you have a good time, I spend new years here and prob one of the funniest nights I’ve ever had only due to the staff. You will not regret staying with them!

Friendly atmosphere! everyone was so nice , accommodating and helpful. Will definitely be back in the future.

Die Jungs vom Anza Surf House sind hervorragend! Auch das Frühstück ist in Ordnung. Die Zimmer sind sauber, die Rooftopterasse ist auch sehr gemütlich. Leider ist das Dorf Anza an sich absolut nicht sehenswert - aber das hat weniger mit dem Hostel an sich zu tuen. Die Gemeinschaftsabende (Ausflüge, Filmabend & Partys) kann man aufjedenfall weiterempfehlen!

Had an amazing time at Anza surfhouse! The staff is very kind and lots of fun. The location felt safe and was out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Overall it was a great value.

Anza Surf House was an amazing stay, the area was super nice and close to the beach. The hostel also had free buffet breakfast every morning. Massive shout out to the amazing staff and volunteers lahssen, Anny, Allison, Markus and Kayla who made the vibe of this place awesome and made me feel extremely welcome and at home. Would highly recommend and would definitely return!!

I loved every minute of my stay, all the staff were great and very friendly,welcoming and helpful. The hostel is based on family and friends here. It's in a great location for all amenities and not far from the city centre. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, hatten eine super nette Einführung und es war bisher mit Abstand das am besten organisierte Hostel in Marokko! Alles war sauber, die Leute nett, 10/10!

Great hostel with an even better vibe. Anza is further out but if you’re going to surf or relax on the beach, it’s perfect. Hostel also organise decent trips to see things around. Would definitely return. Breakfast was great.

AMAZING week we had in this hostel. We met some of the most incredible People during our stay and had incredible excursions provided by the hostel. Amazing staff that took care of everything and made sure we could enjoy our stay there.
