They only have 2 bathrooms for the whole hostel, so prepare to wait an hour each evening (for the toilet too). The AC is very weak and there is no one at the reception. It’s very clean, but still, definitely overpriced, you can find private Airbnbs in Bari for less. Don’t recommend.
Disappointed in the quality of rest i got and value. Desperately needed rest from traveling so i got a single room for 70 euros. Hostel staff was speaking loudly on the phone in front of my door, and slamming doors, keeping me up past midnight. I had to tell them to be quiet. When I reached out to hostel owner, she said that’s just how it is. Would not stay again. Not a traveler hostel. It felt inconsiderate.
I slept here for 1 night and woke up at 5am covered in bed bug bites. The staff were nice enough to pay for my medication (I am allergic to these bugs and have endured this before) but the owner refused to offer a discount on the bed. Apparently the land lord didn’t believe they were bed bugs, passing them off as mosquito bites even though I found one in the bed! It seems that little was done to exterminate the mattress after I checked out as well so beware. I was in bed 2 room Asia.
The manager and staff were not friendly. I could not get in the hostel at night so I had to find me a hotel. I sended them an e-mail when the reception was open, but did not get a responding e-mail. They denied their fauld and where rude. They made me pay for a night that I wasn’t there. I speak Italian so I understood what they where saying. I did not have a good stay. No privacy in the beds without a curtain. Only 2 bathrooms for more that 6-12 people. No locks on the door. I don’t recomme...
The hostel is not a bad place, the staff are really lovely and as helpful as they can be with some limited English (understandable as it is in Italy) but it had some negatives. The dorm rooms aircon is non-existent, it was really hot in all rooms including the kitchen. There are only 2 bathrooms so if 2 people are showering there’s no toilet available. The shower is great though. Would recommend as a short stay.
You come to a hostel to have fun, unfortunately the owner (I think) think she rules the world and can boss everybody including staff and guests around. Unfriendly welcome, lights are off at 8pm and no fun activities to do. It’s very small. The bed was uncomfortable and the shower had a lot of hairs in it.
Très bonne auberge
The hostel was well located. There was no a key for the rooms so people can walk in freely. There was only two bathrooms for the whole hostel - there was always a line for showering in the morning. I paid more to have a 4 bed bedroom and it was still super loud and busy. This is not the hostel’s fault but the guests were rude: waking up at early times in the morning, turning on the lights, having loud conversations and opening the doors and leaving them open while people are still asleep.
Good Hostel, but didn't feel that safe during my walk to it. But in the end I had a nice and safe stay. There is no one to welcome you what is a little bit strange and no age limit, so there where also old men in the rooms.
Pretty and very well located. Friendly staff, eager to help if you have questions. Virtual key to enter and leave the building is smart, it just makes the atmosphere a bit anonymous as there was no one to welcome me / give me the hostel feeling and explain things etc. 53 euros per night for a 8 bed room, I suppose it’s normal prices these days. All in all very clean, quiet and friendly atmosphere, I would come back.

Small but good hostel with friendly host and in a good location
one of the cleanest hostel that ive been great staff as well
Très bonne auberge
I really enjoyed my stay in Habari. It was an intimate hostel, that resembled a residential house more than a hostel. That means there's a well equipped kitchen, but also limited bathroom options. Hosts were very professional and helpful. Location was alright somewhat halfway between the station and the historical city centre, but at the street level the street smelled bad (as did other places in Bari), and it was quite loud because Bari is built like an echo chamber. All in all, I had a good st...
The staff was quite stressed about the check in and called and wrote me eventhough i told them when i will arrive. I told that i will pay the city tax when i come to check in and i still got WhatsApps and a call to ensure that i will do it. Probably a missunderstanding but seemed a little off to me. But everything else was really great and i would recommend it! The kitchen is great and the beds comfortable for a hostel.
great small hostel if you're passing through bari! super helpful owner, facilities were all excellent, i would highly recommend!
Ein versprochener Fahrradstellplatz befand sich im 2. Stockwerk auf der Terasse. Fahhrad musste in das 2. STOCKWERK getragen werden:-(((
Lovely hostel! Comfy beds and wonderful hosts- highly recommend
Absolutely perfect. What makes this place an absolute 12/10 are the people. Everyone is friendly, open and trying to help out. They even organized a laptop for me when I spontaneously landed some job interviews!
Very clean with a welcoming staff. Bojana made checking in a breeze. Hostel is a 15 minute walk from the train station or the sea. Beds are comfortable. Od stay again in a heartbeat.
Quiet, very well-kept, homely hostel
Je pense mon hostel préféré jusqu'à maintenant ! Tout est fait pour que l'on s'y sente bien. Ambiance chaleureuse et cuisine au top ! Personnel incroyable et belles rencontres assurées ! J'adore, je reviendrais c'est sûr :)
Very small hostel which makes it very cozy and homey. People were very nice and social. Staff was amazing too.
The hostel is small and the rooms are huge. The small size an a bit uncommon atmosphere is compensated with great cleanness and super nice staff. The kitchen is great and the balcony with the big table a nice place. Private and shared bathrooms both are super clean. The old city, sea and station are nearby
Very good hostel. Large and confortable beds. Large and clean bathroom. More hangers are needed in the room for our jackets. Also no bedside table … we have nowhere to store our stuff. In the 6 beds girls dorm: there is a water damage on the wall: it’s crumbling and it’s moldy. Location is ok: 10 mins walk from the city center. And the airport bus drops you 3 min from the hostel. Train & bus station: 20 min walks.
Grosse Empfehlung!
Good place, very clean and comfy beds. Very small common area, so not very social. It's true that there's only two bathrooms but since there are not so many beds I never had to wait in line. Too expensive for what it is.
10/10, super friendly, save and clean. And they even keep things like tooth paste or tampons in case you forgot. Really liked Habari! Location is also well, short walk from the old town.
Une super Auberge très bien placé dans Bari, a mi-chemin entre le centre historique et la gare (train bus) et pas trop loin du port. on peut tout faire a pieds.
Hostel was clean. There are only two bathrooms for the whole hostel so there was often a wait. The hostel seemed to be a converted apartment so had a homely feel but didn’t have much of a social atmosphere to go with it.
