Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen, zu Fuß vom Bahnhof erreichbar, ca. 12 Minuten zum Strand. Der Host ist sehr freundlich und spricht Spanisch, was uns gefreut hat. Im Zimmer gibt es keine Klimaanlage, aber zwei Ventilatoren. Alles war sehr sauber. Besonders hilfreich: Er hat uns mit einer Maschine zum Trocknen der Schuhe gerettet, nach dem Kumano-Kodo-Trail kamen wir mit nassen Schuhen und Kleidung an. Küche voll ausgestattet.
The accommodation is well located, within walking distance from the railway station, about 12 minutes to the beach. The host is very friendly and speaks Spanish, which was our pleasure. The room has no air conditioning, but two fans. Everything was very clean. Especially helpful: He saved us with a shoe dryer, after the Kumano-Kodo-Trail we came with wet shoes and clothes. Kitchen fully equipped.

Absolutely the most cosy hostel we have had so far in Japan! Perfect located 4 min from station and 3 min from the restaurant area. Koji explained all we needed to know about Tanabe which turned out to be a very nice place. You can’t have a better start/end of your Kumano Kodo pilgrimage.
Me gustó mucho mi estancia en Buddha guesthouse. Koji, el dueño te da consejos para hacer el Kumano Kodo y te ayuda en lo que pueda. La casa me encantó al ser tradicional y la atmósfera y la decoración me hacía sentir como en una película de Ghibli 😃
I really enjoyed my stay at Buddha guesthouse. Koji, the owner gives you tips on how to make Kumano Kodo and helps you in whatever way he can. The house I loved because it was traditional and the atmosphere and the decoration made me feel like I was in a Ghibli movie 😃
