Bun Kao Guest House

- The overall experience was disappointing. The staff demonstrated unfriendliness and a lack of concern for guests, even neglecting basic hospitality, making us feel invisible. They seemed indifferent to our requests and attributed their lack of attention to workload which appeared made up. The environment lacked hospitality, compounded by a non-functioning AC (cambodia is very hot), which despite our requests, resulted in a dirty fan as a substitute. The approach to sustainability impacted the room's amenities negatively. This stay stands out as the worst in our experiences, especially compared to the typically warm and lively hospitality we've encountered in Cambodia. Overall, a regrettable and unpleasant experience that led us to eagerly count down the days until our departure."

+ 위치는 괞찬은 편임. 이유는 혼잡하지 않고 식당, 시장도 근거리에 있음.

- 모기가 너무 많었음. 방은 보통 이였음.

- The pictures of the property are not accurate. Bar size has been reduced, and pool area quite small. Eco focus is such that shower is very weak and it's like they're frowning on your normal habits.

- Chambre pendant 2 jours au dernier étage avec le bruit énorme de toutes les clips à la fenêtre. Puis chambre sombre . Draps tachés, sdb avec du moisi.

+ The staff were wonderful, the owner was very nice. The location is very central. The staff were very conscientious and helpful. Tuk Tuk drivers were available through the guesthouse. Service was very quick and kind.

- The beds were HARD!!!! VERY uncomfortable. The mattress old. The air conditioner barely worked in our room. It was turned down to 16 degrees but the room was still was warm. The AC worked in my kids' room but their beds were hard as well. The drapes were basically sheer and let in light. They did not block the sun at all. The bathroom was moldy and in need of maintenance. The bedroom needed TLC but the pool area and front of the house were lovely (except no AC in the dining area).

- Zu viel Chlor im Pool, Essen war fade und kaum gewürzt, Personal eher distanziert

+ Wir waren 6 Nächte im Babel Guesthouse. Centrale Lage, Geschäfte und Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Zimmer sind groß und einfach eingerichtet . Das Guesthouse ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Rattanmoebel im Eingangsbereich defekt ,Latten gebrochen und abgeranzt. Alles etwas renovierungsbeduerftig. Im Badezimmer konnte ich nur auf Knien duschen keine vernünftige Halterung für den Duschkopf ansonsten Badueberschwemmung. Aus dem Wasserhahn kam nur ein Rinnsal heraus. Sollte gutes Personal merken und melden für eine Reparatur. Der Poolbereich nur schlecht, Liegen defekt , Anlage ungepflegt .Die Tische schmuddelig. Die Sitzgarnitur war so ekelig und fleckig, als hätten Wochenlang Hunde und Katzen drauf gelegen. Das Wasser zum trinken wurde erst garnicht aufgefüllt. Alles auf Bildern zu sehen. Das Toast beim Frühstück war so hart das man es mit einer Stichsäge essen konnte und viel zu teuer für die Leistung, da gibt es besseres fürs Geld. Fazit ich kann manche Bewertungen nicht verstehen aber ich kann das Guesthouse nicht empfehlen . Das Personal freundlich.

+ The pool and the eco-products are nice.

- This hotel was recommended to me by a friend. I have no idea why it gets such good ratings. It was too expensive for being so basic. The food was barely edible. The staff are not that helpful. I was at the top floor (60 steps up per the hotel note at the top of the steps) and it was like an oven. My room was an oven and the aircon did not work. I had to fight to get a new room ... the next day! The room is extremely basic compared to other hotel offerings at same price. I would not stay again and would definitely not recommend.

- 水圧がシャワーだと弱弱です。桶でも持って行って蛇口からやれば良かった。 子連れに人気で多いので、昼間超疲れて部屋で仮眠したかったが、階下から子供の大声がずっと聞こえてきて全く寝れなかった。

+ It has a big pool and area around it. It is not bad location, close to center.

- Needs repair. Our room did not have towels, hairdryer, were a lot of mosquitoes. The net on the window was broken so they could get inside. Breakfast is good but waiting time is too long:(

+ Le cadre est super chouette, on s’y sent super bien. Le personnel est toujours aux petits soins. Le plus de la piscine. La situation est parfaite : dans le centre mais un peu à l’écart de toute l’agitation. Et gros bonus pour la nourriture de l’hôtel qui est incroyable : on a pris un petit-dejeuner et un déjeuner là-bas et c’était succulent!

- Il faut s’y attendre et je pense que c’est partout pareil mais nous avions une chambre côté rue et nous avons été un peu dérangés par le bruit. Mais, c’est le jeu, si on veut être au centre d’une grosse ville!

+ Photos do not do this guesthouse justice - it is BEAUTIFUL. Such a lovely, green oasis in busy Siem Reap! The staff, bar offering, amenities, overall building and facilities are great. We didn't use the pool but it looked lovely. Room was quiet and spacious.

- The bed was very hard, aside from this - all was lovely.

+ Schönes kleines Hotel, mit großen Zimmern, gemütlichen Betten und einem schönen Poolbereich. Das Zentrum war zu Fuß gut erreichbar und die Lage war weit genug vom Zentrum entfernt, so dass es schön ruhig war. Außerdem gab es auch viele Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Sehr toll und empfehlenswert sind die Touren, die das Hotel organisiert! Wir haben den Aufenthalt wirklich sehr genossen.

- Die Betten waren total unbequem und ich konnte teilweise nicht schlafen weil ständig eine Sprosse drückte

+ Hôtel de petite taille, comme une maison, accueillant et très bien placé, autant pour profiter de l’ambiance de la ville que pour se rendre aux temples d’Angkor. Atmosphère relaxante et calme, belle piscine. Grande chambre haute de plafond et avec beau design. Super staff, très bons conseils et adresses, autant pour les restaurants et cafés que pour les temples d’Angkor. Excellent rapport qualité prix.

- Chambres mal insonorisées, difficile de se reposer dans la chambre. Salle de bain un peu vieillotte.
