D&D Backpackers Guesthouse

I stayed at this place, but my reservation was later marked as canceled, even though I actually stayed there. This made it impossible for me to leave a review on the platform, which is very concerning. The location is also far from the center of Bandung and not convenient for travelers. Overall, I did not have a good experience and would not recommend this place.

Very bad environment, other tenants really disturbing

Sangat sangat mengecewakan..., harusnya saya sebulan menginap di sini, karena kamarnya tidak sesuai jadi hanya tinggal 2 malam saja. Pas malam pertama saat datang toilet tidak bisa ngeflash, airnya kecil dan saluran showernya bocor, lebih gila lagi dikasih ember kecil buat nampung air. My major issue with this guesthouse is that they cancelled my booking whilst I was staying there, which I am pretty sure was done to try and prevent me from leaving a bad review. I reached out to hostelworld so that i was able to review this property after trying to contact the guesthouse for this issue but they did not respond. This guesthouse is not dreadful, but is also not close to 9.6 stars. The location alone is a long way from the centre, and staff are pushy with selling unpriced tours...

Harga terjangkau, tp Lokasi cukup jauh dari jalan utama, agak ngeri juga kalo check in agak tengah malam. Kebersihan kamar & kamar mandi, sanitasi, sangaaaaat perlu ditingkatkan. Kurang rekomen kalo perempuan check in sendiri di sini.

Hostel is clean and looks nice. Staff is friendly. Doesn't have AC however (there is a fan), room was veruy muggy. You can also hear everything.

Quiet a good hostel, cozy bed, 2 slices of toast for breakfast. The bathroom wasn't very nice. The tour was overpriced and the program sounded more appealing on the flyer than it actually was. Also, lunch was included in the tour, but then we were expected to pay by ourselves .

We had a private room on the ground floor and the en-suite bathroom was really dirty with ants all over the toilet and shower. The staff were friendly but were very pushy with their tour and making you buy stuff. We would not recommend.

The owner and his mates will drive you around and do tours, which is nice, but one of the friends made inappropriate comments to me on me during my stay and it made me very uncomfortable. The owner is very professional, apologised, and spoke to his friend about it. I couldn't tell the owner about it until later because I was alone on a tour with his friend when it happened. I honestly couldn’t reccomend this place more!! We had such a brilliant stay. The facilities are basic but the hostel is affordable so you get what you pay for. The staff made it for us, they were AMAZING!! So so helpful and kind, will give you lifts wherever you want to do and are super responsive on the WhatsApp. We honestly had the best time and we couldn’t thank the staff more for making our trip so memorable. In a quiet, peaceful location with a nice coffee shop within walking distance.

Basic hostel, the staff are lovely and will organise tours and drop you off by moped to different areas of the city. A little bit outside of the center and the bathrooms are very simple.

Really cool hostel! The location is a bit far from city center but the staff will drive you to supermarket, restaurant, etc nearby for free. They also give you al lot of information and tips what to do during your stay and the offers nearby. Overall the staff really keeps this place alive! Highly recommend this hostel! The beds are comfy, the staff is super friendly and they offer great tours! As well as a free walking tour! The kittens are the hostel are also super cute!! The location is a bit far out but they offer free driving services to wherever you want to go! Super accommodating and lovely people!

Location is a bit far from the center but that also makes it a quiet place. Not easy to find in Indonesian cities. The room was clean, only the bathroom could really use a little renovation. They do a free tour in de evening. They drive you around the city and tell you all about it for free. Really nice way to meet the others that stay at the hostel. Such a good hostel if you want somewhere quiet. The people that work there are actually the BEST so friendly and funny literally drive me everywhere.

The hostel was perfectly fine and the staff was the best!! So nice & so helpful! Free breakfast, free taxi service, amazing tours!

People usually this is the best Guesthouse but I think this one actually is the best. The staff were actually genuine and very nice. I recommend it to anyone.

Really enjoyed staying here. The staff are fun and kind. They also offer a lot of excursions which were great. Hostel is a tad bit away from the city but they offer free pickups and drop offs which is great. Their recommendations for good coffee and food were also spot on!

Nice hostel! The staff was so friendly and sweet. They do fun tours. And they could bring you to places for free with the motorbikes.

Really liked my stay here! Immediately felt welcomed by the staff upon arrival. Especially the (free) organized tours are a big plus. Would stay here for sure in case I visit Bandung again :)

The location of D&D Backpackers Guesthouse Bandung is located in a housing complex, for security it is good, the guesthouse is neat, 2 floors, the rooms are clean, there are standard room units for 2 people and there are also ones for families, there is a kitchen and a refrigerator, you can also store food there, the staff are friendly, only for culinary it is a bit far, but still comfortable, recommended.

Best place i stayed in during my travels through SEA. Everything was in order and clean which would be a 5/5 on its own, but the staff and the activities that they provide would elevate it to a 10/5 for me!

i normally don't leave reviews often, but in my 6 months in SEA this has beebeen te best hostel i have been to. The staff definitedefinitely makes this plae unique and i would recommend it to everybody!

De sfeer in dit hostel is zo goed! Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk. Ze brengen je overal naartoe met de scooter en hebben goede tips over lokale eettentjes enzv. De tour door het Zuiden van Bandung was ook enorm leuk! Heel erg bedankt voor de leuke tijd: Memet, Denni, Rashied en Tupac❤️ Het enige minpunt is dat er geen airco in de kamer is.

Echt de beste hostel waar ik ooit heb geslapen. De mensen hier zijn de liefste mensen ooit en Budhi is de beste manager. Ze brengen ons elke avond en dag gratis naar lokale spots en winkels. De tours waren heel leuk en gezellig. De mensen die we hier hebben ontmoet ga ik nooit vergeten en we hebben echt vrienden gemaakt die ik echt ga missen.

Ein suuuper Guesthouse! Es ist zwar nicht im Zentrum, aber es ist ruhig und sicher in der Gegend. Die Mitarbeitenden sind mega lieb und zeigen den Gästen gerne ihre Stadt. Bei Bedarf fahren sie einem auch herum. Das Guesthouse biete auch Ausflüge an, welche man unbedingt machen muss. Ich hatte das Glück die Süd-Tour als einzige zu machen und so fuhren Mehmed und ich mit dem Roller. Ein tolles Erlebnis! Danke allen im Guesthouse für die 3 tollen Tage, ich werde euch vermissen🫶
