Far away from everything, so not worth the extortionate price. Mosquitos everywhere. Receptionist smirking saying you agreed to the 7 day cancellation policy knowing full well they’ve ripped you off if you want to asked to shorten your stay even during a busy weekend when they are assured to refill the dorm beds immediately. Stay somewhere else.

I am so torn about this hostel because the beds were very comfortable and rooms were spacious with very beautiful common spaces and bathrooms but there is nothing else going on and for the price you pay you expect something amazing. Stayed in places just as nice for less $$$. About a 30 min walk from anything and my dorm was SO loud at night from street traffic, never had noise like that even in bigger cities. Staff are super super lovely though so yeah just a confusing one.

This hostel for me was a bit of the disappointment, maybe because of the incredible reviews I had seen. The beds are really big and comfortable. That was the best part. The toilets and showers are really tiny and sometimes they were not very clean. There is no AC in the common area and the general atmosphere is not very social. I definitely wasn't lookig for a party hostel, but I expect the staff of a hostel to be a bit more open and to help create a nice atmosphere, which I didn't find here.

As a cat allergic it would have been nice to know about a cat hanging around in the hostel. Cat also tried to sneak in to the rooms in the evening.

Very nice facilities but felt more like a hotel. Location isn’t the best and no social atmosphere. If you’re not looking to socialise much and want nice facilities then I would recommend however wouldn’t recommend if you’re after a social atmosphere.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the kitchen station provided hot and cold water, and the bedroom seemed clean enough with curtains on the bunks which we appreciated the privacy for. The hostel has all windows open at all times in common areas and we have both been bitten by mosquitoes here, they cats are running into the bedrooms, pigeons were living in the common area, also a rat running around the lobby in the late evening. I was not able to use the towel provided as it had stains on.

Not a lot to say positive or negative at this hostel. Was very average, quiet, not dirty but didn’t feel clean either. There was no running water to shower in the morning.

Not too happy about this stay! Booked a female dorm and in the end there stayed a man in the room because the employees made him stay there ?! Employees werent helpful or nice at all actually and location is still about 20min walk from the old town. The place itself was however nice to stay and clean! But would not recommend.

I stayed here for a few nights in Ipoh as a break between Penang and Cameron Highlands. The hostel is super cozy. What really stood out were the plants—there are so many around the floors, which gives the whole place a fresh, chill, and relaxing atmosphere. It’s a great spot to just recharge and refresh. I also loved the common area—plenty of cushions and sofas to lounge on. Perfect for reading, planning the next part of the trip, or just doing nothing for a bit.

If I tell you this hostel was a treat oh my god, staff is incredible so sweet and helpful, hostel has a nice atmosphere and interior, it’s very pink but very cosy at the same time, bed are comfortable and shower oh my lord showers are dreamy - this is definitely the best hostel we stayed in while backpacking Malaysia

Loved my stay here. The downstairs communal spaces were clean and inviting with a good choice of board games. Good location with cheap taxis into main tourist areas and clean but small rooms

Great hostel overall, the beds are comfy and the hostel is very clean in general. There’s a decent atmosphere with quite a few backpackers. Only critique would be the location, as the hostel isn’t in the nicest area.

Such a cute hostel with a lot of places to chill and the beds and rooms were super clean!

I had a private room which was a nice size with my own bathroom. Facilities were modern. Very basic breakfast- cereal, toast and coffee/tea. Not very social, but plenty of places to socialize and/or do some work.

Was a great place to stay! Very friendly and tidy, probably the best facility’s I’ve had whilst travelling

One of the most aesthetically pleasing and clean hostels I’ve stayed in! It’s literally an instagram reel 😍✨ I loved how well it was taken care of. The atmosphere was very quiet and not very social but such a great hostel to stay in and unwind, especially after partying in KL.

We absolutely loved this hostel! Great location, friendly staff, and clean kitchen, bathroom and rooms! The downstairs common area is so well decorated and has such a nice vibe. Staying here for one night was the perfect amount of time for us! Would recommend!

Very nice common area, free breakfast, filtered water. I liked my bed, the room and the bathrooms were fine! The location is a bit off the city centre and I didn't love the area. Staff were ok, not particularly nice. Didn't feel very social. The door to my room was never locked. For the safety lockers you need to bring your own lock. Overall it was good, but I only stayed one night

Loved this hostel! The reception/social area was really nice and modern and the staff were lovely! The room was small but it’s all we needed and it was clean.

A really nice hostel with clean neat rooms. Nice bathrooms with good showers. Staff were super helpful! social space is nice and having breakfast is lovely! Only downside is it's a bit out of the way of most things. My room had a bit of a damp smell because the bathroom had no window which wasn't ideal.

Super schönes, modernes und gut ausgestattetes Hostel. Alles ist super sauber und man fühlt sich super wohl. Das Hostel ist auch eher ruhiger und in die Stadt muss man etwa 10 minuten laufen.
