We had an issue with our booking dude to the website glitch ring which was not good to or our trip schedule and the staff didn’t really do anything to help us.
Im Zimmer hat es so sehr gestunken, dass man nicht drinnen schlafen konnte, es war wirklich widerlich! Das Bad und die Duschen (wo es nichtmal eine Tür gibt) auch nicht sehr sauber, die Küche ganz okay, sonst eher nicht sozial und in einem sehr unsicheren Viertel.
The bathroom and the showers (where there is not even a door) are not very clean either, the kitchen is quite okay, otherwise rather not social and in a very unsafe neighborhood.

I booked this hostel based on the reviews on hostelworld: cleanliness 8.1/10, security 8.8/10 ect On arrival we found ourselves in a room with an absolutely infectious smell, a damp moist room with a urine smell No air conditioning during the day, an extremely cold climate at night, an unbreathable air. All this made us sick. After complaining about the room for 2 days straight without any response, and having sent dozens of ignored emails they got
DO NOT STAY HERE! We had the worst experience. We arrive at night and there are two older men in our beds. We let them know that these were our beds and they said to just take any in the room and that those beds were theirs, even though we had the keys. We go down to the reception where the staff say there is nowhere else for us to go and that they will check on us every hour. We begged to be put in another room. They said no and didn’t take us seriously. We felt unsafe and had to leave.
Felt extremely unsafe at this hostel and unfortunately had to move to new accommodation for our second night in barcelona. Would not recommend especially for a young female traveller.
they didn't provide room after my arrival,which gave me a huge inconvenience.. and also they didn't try to solve the issues ,just said contact with website we are full
I liked the location and that it’s only 25€ a night but one night was enough for me. You get a clean sheet and a duvet without a cover. The shower setup wasn’t ideal, as there was nowhere to keep your dry clothes. The woman with black hair and glasses at the front desk was quite rude for no apparent reason. If you're looking for a better experience, I recommend OneFam Paralelo just up the street it’s so much nicer
Only one stall for the female restrooms on each floor. Rooms smelled awful and bunks have no curtains. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Muy mala la limpieza el baño de hombres sucio y con olores. El cajón o loker para guardar es de metal hace ruido y los otros duermen , hace mucho ruido. La habitación cerrada sin aire.
The drawer or locker for storing is made of metal makes noise and the others sleep , makes a lot of noise. the room is closed without air.
Agradável, mas acho que pelo menos uma toalha e o gel de banho deviam ser grátis.
Nice, but I think at least a towel and bath gel should be free.

Large kitchen, friendly staff and bike rental from the place. The beds were comfy and the curtains on the beds are nice too. Only stayed one night.

Personale gentile ed accogliente. Essendo una ragazza che viaggia da sola non posso negare che non mi sono sentita a mio agio a tornare tardi la sera in quella via. il bagno sempre pulitissimo. La camera non troppo confortevole ma comunque sufficiente per un ostello. Unico grande problema è la temperatura di notte che, a causa dell’aria condizionata, è veramente troppo bassa e, nonostante la coperta, mi sono ammalata.
As a girl who travels alone I can't deny that I didn't feel comfortable coming back late at night in that street. the bathroom is always very clean. the room is not too comfortable but still enough for a hostel. the only big problem is the temperature at night which, because of the air conditioning, is really too low and, despite the blanket, I got sick.
Personale molto simpatico e accogliente. I bagni non erano molto puliti. Privacy sia in camera che in bagno. Posizione comoda di giorno, molto vicina alla metro Paral•lel, un po’ meno di notte, visto che l’ostello è collocato in una via periferica e non molto frequentata.
The bathrooms were not very clean. privacy in both the room and the bathroom. comfortable location during the day, very close to the Paral•lel metro, a little less at night, since the hostel is located on a peripheral and not very frequented street.
Nie ma półeczki ani światła przy łóżku. Ale poza tym, wszystko jest ok. Zasłonki przy łóżkach, to jest super rozwiązanie.
There are no shelves or lights by the bed. but otherwise, everything is ok. curtains by the beds, that is a great solution.
Ha sido una muy buena experiencia! Todo el staff ha sido muy agradable y todo estaba muy limpio. Bien situado, cerca del metro y también se puede ir andando a todos sitios. Sin duda alguna, 100% recomendable!
It was a very good experience! all the staff was very friendly and everything was very clean. well located, near the metro and also you can walk to all places. definitely, 100% recommended!
HeyLola hostel is easily one of if not my favourite hostel I’ve ever stayed in, the travellers in the hostel were very friendly and as a solo traveller I never got made to feel unwelcome and the staff were always super nice and understanding. The kitchen is very good with 2 stoves 2 microwaves 2 fridges and lots of utensils. The security and safety were also very good I always felt safe in the hostel, they provide locks and lockers. This hostel was amazing! The kitchen is massive and are so are the lockers in the rooms. The staff were very lovely and we made so many new friends here. The hostels walking tours and night parties were so fun. The showers were a bit dirty but the kitchen and communal spaces were spacious and clean. I felt super safe as a female traveller at this hostel and this area of Barcelona. I highly recommend this hostel!
A great place to stay in Barcelona! The staff were incredible and extremely supportive. Good location, near the metro and other walkable locations. Always felt safe!

Nice little hostel in El Pueblo Sec. Fantastic staff that made the stay enjoyable and they were super helpful. A bit of a walk to the central Barcelona area and the beach but is located right next to Montjuic and on a street full of fantastic bars and restaurants where we ate almost every night. Facilities are pretty good.
LOVED IT!! Really recommend they are sooo nice and everything was amazing!!
