Sol A Sol Hostel

I wasn't very satisfied with my stay. The location and the roof terrace are great. The people are also friendly. However, the hostel was run down and dirty. There was chewing gum in my locker and the bed was rusty. The room was cramped and dirty. It was definitely not worth the price.

Felt like being in a third world country. Messy, incredibly hot and the most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on in my life

Fuyez cette auberge ! Beaucoup trop cher pour les services proposés ! (C’est à dire aucun) Chambre minuscule, hygiène déplorable : rideau de douche très sale, équipement de cuisine vieux comme le monde (même une cafetière de chantier est plus propre) Vol de nourriture, pas de pression d’eau dans la salle de bain donc une galère pour se laver,… Bref, mon pire séjour au Portugal !

The hostel was just okay. It felt more like a hotel due to its large size, and there wasn't much social interaction. The staff, except for one welcoming man who let me in, weren't very friendly. It didn't match the positive reviews I read online. The rooms were not worth the high price. The rooftop bar was decent, but other hostels in Lagos, like Olive Hostel, had a much more welcoming, family-like atmosphere and were beautifully maintained.

Left the hostel to book a room in another space in the city. No AC and it is above very loud bars so we could not sleep. Also had no cold water pressure on the third floor so showering and even washing hands was difficult. Staff were great lots of friendly travellers very clean and a nice rooftop. If this was a cheaper hostel maybe it would be worth it for basic accommodations. We ended up staying elsewhere

Really loud and just no love is put in this place.

The place is not clean and very noisy. For my opinion is very childish but I guess that’s what the young are looking for.

The pictures for this place make it look super cool and social however that was not my experience. I think this place is a pretty big tourist trap. the rooms are very small and not as nice as the pictures make them look. I also found it not to be a very social hostel which the pictures make it look like it is. Pretty disappointed with this hostel.

Voor hoeveel het per nacht kost (vrouwenkamer), is het het niet waard. De kamers zijn klein, het is veel te warm en de ventilator die je krijgt, blaast niet eens op alle bedden. Het was wel fijn dat ze activiteiten aanboden, maar het voelde alsof ze daar veel geld voor vroegen terwijl het goedkoper kon. Dan zeiden ze bijvoorbeeld dat je iets ging doen en ook snacks kreeg, maar dan werden er alleen twee zakken chips en wat popcorn neergezet voor een grote groep — om maar een voorbeeld te geven.

1million / 10 Best hostel experience iv ever had. The staff are the best I walked in and made friends with the first 2 blokes sitting in the common area and spent the day with them. As soon as I walked into mu room made besties with the girl in my bunk. Spent the rest of my stay hanging out with her. The had the best recommendations for everything local. Best rooftop bar across the road. Love

mostly clean (ish), location was fabulous and the staff were friendly. beds were comfy but the best part was the little balcony overlooking the busy street, perfect for people watching!

Legit the best hostel i have been so far. Really clean, cozy, safe, intimate but also really welcoming. Love the staff (Dani mostly) she got the best recommendation and good vibe. You can chill and have fun for sure in that hostel ~♡

Loved everything about this hostel. Amazing staff and my room even had its own patio, which I loved.

Nice place to stay. The rooms were slightly outdated, but can’t complain when staying one night. Loved the rooftop terrace, which gave great views of Lagos. The staff were friendly, and the location was ideal.

Très bien situé, l' accueil y est attentionné et agréable. Le rooftop est extraordinaire avec une vue sur l:océan A la tombée du jour c'est époustouflant La cuisine est très bien équipée, mon dortoir était cosy et la propreté est remarquable! Une chouette adresse pour les budgets serrés.

J’ai adoré l’endroit , les gens , le vibe , la propreté et le staff. Toute était parfait je recommande ! ;)

The Hostel staff was really friendly and helpful, also it had a good location. It could have been a bit more clean in the kitchen but it was still really okay. I was there before they closed for the winter so it was kinda empty, but in the season I think it’s a really good choice. The rooms were cute and clean

Really nice hostel, comfortable, clean , full of activities that you can book at the reception, very social . The rooftop it’s the best spot in town !

Rooftop just makes it all worth it!! Great location in the middle of everything and close to boardwalk. So close to My Sushi!! Kitchen is equipped well. Bathrooms in rooms are pretty big! Staff were very nice and helpful! Beds were pretty uncomfortable but that wasn’t my priority for a few nights
