Good location and very nice host but its very small and I found the beds uncomfortable

The hostal is very basic and clean.The kitchen and common area are really tiny.If it's busy got nowhere to sit.But the vibes are quite calm in a safe area. There's a bar or karaoke next door is super loud nonstop untill midnight and start again from 6am.Not possible to get good sleep because the windows don't do the work like you sleep in the bar.The owner asked if I wanna change room the dorm design like a loft I don't think any different between downstairs and upstair.

very cute vibes, nice little neighborhood. there were 3 people when I was there and I can't imagine how 20 could fit into that space comfortably. lots of thoughtful amenities and nice setup, the only thing is it got quite hot at night and there was music coming from the street throughout the night on Friday

Nice place, super close to a metro stop, safe and calm neighborhood. Social environment but not party. The common spaces and kitchenette were a bit small for how many people stay there but overall it was a good experience. The female dorm was particularly good.

We stayed here over the Christmas period and enjoyed ourselves. The kitchen was small but well stocked and allowed us to make a big Christmas dinner! The hostle is clean, has hot water and the staff are really helpful. During our stay there was unfortunately some problems with a challenging guest there, but the owner was really efficient at dealing with our concerns and made us feel safe and happy there.

Das Hostel liegt nah an der Metro und das Personal ist super nett. Es herrscht eine familiäre Stimmung. Leider ist alles sehr klein und sehr eng.

Ambiente familiar e internacional, o anfitrião é maravilhoso, gente finíssima. Muito bem localizado com boas opções próximas que podemos ir caminhando. 100% confiável e aconchegante. Voltarei mais vezes.

Excellent area to stay. Preferred over el poblado because of the nice food options and parks with local life. Host Ricardo is local and one of a kind for hospitality. Hostel is very small, but enhances the connection between the travellers staying there.

Fantastic hostel, especially if you travel solo or as a Duo. Has a very social atmosphere, nice facilities (was cleaned everyday when I stayed there). The host Ricardo does all he can for you to have a good time in Medellin, a very very kind man. The area felt safe and calm, good connections with nearby affordable metro. Just note that the social area is on the smaller side if youre one who wants a lot of space for your own.

Tu sais le genre d’hostel que tu book 2-3 nuits et que finalement tu restes 1 semaine? Et bien, c’est cet hostel qui est rendu maintenant une maison dans mon cœur. When I first arrived at the hostel I felt I made a mistake booking it as it was tiny. However I ended up having a great time and stayed for 4 nights. The social aspect was excellent. The rooms and showers were clean. The metro station is a couple of hundred meters away and there are many restaurants and shops nearby. Ricardo was friendly and helpful. One of the most memorable hostels I’ve stayed at.

This is such a special Hostel. Ricardo is a really lovely human being and brings so much warmth to every interaction. My first day he picked me some herbs for a cut I had on my face. It was such a kind gesture. He really makes you feel at home. It's a smaller space but has everything you need. El dueño es muy agradable y te ayuda con todo, instalaciones muy buenas y bien ubicado en un barrio que me pareció muy seguro.

Yeah, I am just going to agree with all the other reviews here. Look, you aren't coming here for the extravagant facilities, the enormous common spaces or anything like that. You are coming here for the vibe, the atmosphere and the interaction with other people that make or break a journey. All of the people here feel like roommates you share a flat with for a few days (or longer if you stay for a while). Ricardo is super kind and makes everyone feel como en casa. Would 100% recommend.

Ricardo was so kind and an amazing host! Beds were very clean and appreciated that we had towels and extra blankets available.

Ricardo offers more of a home than a hostel. He makes you feel so welcome from the moment you arrive. I got there early from a night bus and he was there to check me in AND make me coffee. If you’re lucky enough to catch one of his tours, I highly recommend. It’s a unique tour he offers from a true local perspective. The place is super clean and the neighborhood is lovely! The space is cozy but it’s a great way to meet new friends! Recommend 10/10

This was the best hostel I have stayed at during my whole trip! Ricardo is such an honest, wholesome and caring person. The most important thing for him is that people feel good in his hostel, and he gives everything to make that happen. He gave us an incredible tour through the barrio Floresta for example. I would recommend everyone to stay there. Querido Ricardo, estoy muy agradecido por todo lo que has hecho por nosotros. Cuídate mucho ❤️❤️

Ricardo es un amor de persona! Vale la pena quedarse en ese hostel ya que la ubicación es buena y el lugar es tranquilo y muy limpio. Hay buen ambiente ya que el lugar atrae lo que da, BUENA ENERGÍA. 100% recomendado

I've been to many hostels around the world and I've never encountered something similar to this hostel. This place feels like home with a very social and casual vibe. The place is cleaned several times daily and is in a very safe and authentic neighborhood. However the star of the hostel and the one making it special is its host Ricardo. His authenticity and kindness makes the place like no other.
