- There was drunk guy staying in my room, playing loud music, speaking loudly on phone and smoking in the bathroom. After complaining, reception didn’t do anything, I had to ask again and change room at 05:00 early in the morning. I basically did not sleep entire night.
- The staff was super unprofessional. My jacket was stolen in my room on the second day, and they are doing nothing after telling them. I was asking for coins for the washing machine, they gave me some 1,2€ coins while their machines are only accepting 50cents coins. Two of my coins was stucked there and was stolen when I go back to ask for an exchange again.

- Luego de ellos cancelarme la reserva me hicieron pagar de nuevo, haciendo un doble cargo en mi tarjeta el cual se niegan a devolver. Los contacté en varias ocasiones para solicitar el reembolso y no contestan. Pésimo servicio y atención al cliente. Cero recomendable.
- Ich wurde für etwas verantwortlich gemacht, was ich nicht getan habe , aufgrund meines Alters wurde es mir zu geschoben
- I did the self checkin in the machine and I payed there. However, the self checkin in the machine didn’t work properly. I wasn’t in the system, and I got locked out twice. One night the security came at midnight to tell me I was in the ring place. Besides that, I payed at the property and now booking is charging me, because it is counting as a no-show.
- Never sleep at night so many drunk people They put ventilation in every bed so it makes so much noise at night
- 这是我住过最让我垃圾的地方！我订了三天四人间，结果，住了一晚，第二天出去玩，晚上11点回房间，打不开门。去前台，被告知换了房间。原因是员工帮我入住搞错了。员工打开并乱放我的行李，在没有告知我的时候，全部清理到前台…旅店完全没有邮件或电话通知我！真的把人气死～轻飘飘一句：补你一张早餐券吧！之后我不断投诉，都得不到任何回复。

I love this hostel ♡ it's always clean and super comfy. The staff is friendly and helpful all the time. I book a room at Wombat's every time I visit Munich, it's my favourite hostel in the city 🕺
This hostel was amazing! The staff were super kind + helpful. The hostel is a little outside of the city center BUT in such a cool area with tons to do & see. I really enjoyed my stay & would definitely stay at another Wombat in the future :)
This stay actually was fab. Spacious dorms, awesome. Spot is right next to a shipping container party yard so on Fri and Sat was loud music you could feel shake your bed into the wee hours but otherwise we really liked our stay.

I really enjoyed the location, while not in central Munich there are still loads of fun bars in the area! Curtains on beds were great, with own controllable AC in the beds :)
The lockers are problematic. Not really secure and the numbers are too small to read easily or manipulate with confidence. The kitchen facilities are good but very small for the size of the hostel

The hostel is fine, the rooms are pretty warm but there are ventilators. The rooms have curtains for each bed and everything was clean. The downside is it is rather far out and you have to walk through the big East Trainstation and the very empty construction sites everytime, which can be uncomfortable or even sketchy at night.
Prima als doorreishostel, ligt super dicht bij het station. Heel proper en goeie voorzieningen. Voor de rest is het super groot en dat maakt het tamelijk kil in mijn beleving.
Very nice as a door-to-door hostel, very close to the station, very clean and well equipped, otherwise it is super large and that makes it pretty cool in my opinion.
Loved this hostel ! So clean. Really modern. Great cafe. Only downsides were no wifi in my room and no individual bed light with each bed. Also is a little out of the city technically but in a great neighbourhood, so really didn’t mind! Easy to get public transport or e-scooter if you need to venture out. Worth the money for sure :)

Super hostel, je recommande. Un peu en dehors du centre de la vieille ville, mais bien desservi par les métro, possible également d’y aller à pied.
A little outside the center of the old town, but well connected by the metro, possible also to go there on foot.
Fur mich der beste Hostel in M. Super Team vor Ort, die kümmern sich richtig um Gast, sehr hilfreich. Lage…. Top!!! Essen feiern logistisch … 6 Sterne.

Safe für großes Gepäck unter jedem Bett, dazu ein kleiner Tresor im Bett selbst, also keine Sorgen ums Zeug. Für ein Hostel maximale Privatsphäre durch Vorhänge an den Betten und Bäder in den Zimmern. Habe für unter 100€ vier Nächte in München verbracht. Ein super Deal!
Safe for large luggage under each bed, plus a small Treasury in the bed itself, so no worries about the stuff. For an Hostel maximum privacy through curtains in the beds and bedrooms in the rooms. Have for under 100€ four nights spent in Munich. Ein super Deal!
amazing place would recommend, was a slight walk to many touristy attractions but defintely worth it !
This place was amazing, great staff not too noisy. And the bar staff was amazing as weak! I would go back.
The hostel is quite large. I stayed in a girls-only room and it was very nice. The kitchen was good, although my bacon was stolen 😮💨😖😭 but otherwise fine. The staff is nice but they don't interact much with guests, only when necessary. The hostel doesn't organize social events; you have to make it happen yourself in the bar or common areas. Overall, pretty good!
Wir waren in einem reinen Frauenzimmer, was ich nur empfehlen kann. Die Mitarbeiter waren super nett und hilfsbereit. Auch die Lage wäre eigentlich gut, jedoch gab es zu dieser Zeit (März 2026) viele Baustellen im Werksviertel... Die Einrichting in den Gemeinschaftsräumen und im Café/Bar ist sehr schön, nur die Zimmer sind langweilig. Das Frühstück welches wir dazu gebucht haben, ensprach aber leider nicht ganz unseren Vorstellungen, man wird satt aber aber es gibt natürlich noch Luft na...
We were in a clean Frauenzimmer, which I can only recommend. The staff were super nice and helpful. Also the location would be actually good, however there were at this time (März 2026) many Buustellen im Werksviertel... The Einrichting in the common areas and in the Café/Bar is very nice, only the rooms are boring. The breakfast which we have booked for this, but unfortunately not quite spoke to our imaginations, one gets full but of course there is still air upstairs.
I liked this hostel quite a bit, I stayed in a female dorm ensuite which was nice. My room was not full so it was definitely a laid back atmosphere. It's literally a 5 min walk to the train station/platform. Lots of food options nearby, their bar is well priced. The reception staff sounded a bit annoyed when I was checking in/out. But overall pretty good, I'd stay again for a few days next time. There is parking nearby the hostel (within walking distance), which helped me out.
