I got out there in the middle of the night because I couldn't sleep. It was 2:30 a.m. The phone rang loudly in the next room. Despite being asked to be quiet, it went on. The hospital boy tolerated it. Then a younger man came with a mini suitcase, which he pulled over the tiles at about 3:00 a.m. When I spoke to him, he wanted to discuss and said I'd rather go to a hotel... No respectful company. No lockers.
It was very cold. I asked if I can cancel second night and they told me I need to do it through Hostelworld which was impossible after check in. If you want to use hot water you need to go out to the garden, switch on the valve and then after using it switch it back off.
Great place & people
Very nice hostel in a rural setting. Nice outdoor patio with the view of town and surrounding mountains. Bed was comfortable with more than sufficient bedding. The only issue I had, was that there was no heating inside and it was quite cold. Unfortunate, many places in Spain don't have internal heating and it can get very cold in a winter ❄️. The owner was very nice. Just, it was a bit of a hassle to arrange key pickup. Other than that, good place to relax from a bit hectic touristy Málaga.
