Breakfast is not worth the price paid!
No me gusto muy estrecho todo , sin ascensor asi que si llegas con una maleta prepárate jajaja El baño estaba cochino y la pieza mal olor 🤮
I don't like it too narrow, no elevator but if you come with a suitcase ready, the bathroom was dirty and the place smelled bad.
Staff stole my watch. There was constantly water all over the floor in the bathroom. No place to sit other than bed. Beds shake like crazy when one person moves
First of all the people work there must improve their English. Secondly it was dirty espesially the place where the breakfast was served.
basic, the stairs are a nightmare to climb after a few drinks out your basically prone to falling down the stairs, the walls are thin nearly everything you do is heard this includes moving around people partying all around almost impossible to get any sleep
Place is pretty old. Doesn’t offer much if any activities. I also got bit by bed bugs there.
Not suitable for having guests
Nette Lage mitten im Rotlichtviertel Amsterdams und freundliches Personal, aber für ca. 40 Euro (excl. Steuern) pro Nacht im 8-Betten Schlafsaal relativ teuer. Die Sauberkeit im Zimmer und vor allem im Bad könnte verbessert werden. Es war kein Föhn im Zimmer vorhanden. Es gibt keinen Aufzug sondern nur ein enges und steiles Treppenhaus, demnach für ältere Menschen eher ungeeignet.
No door handle it was broken, no secure room, lockers were very small basically to fit headphones and passport. Room didn’t feel secure. I was in room when it was getting cleaned, poor quality cleaning. No hot water for 2 days. Just had an apology but no other option for showers

When I arrived my reservation was not registered, but they arranged it quickly. it is very well located. i would return for the location.

Had great stay here was very handy to get anywhere as it’s right in the middle of red light district, nice comfortable room with polite staff
First visit to Amsterdam and we didn’t know what to expect - we were delighted with our accommodations and amenities. The stairs were an unexpected challenge after a day afoot but we made it a joyous experience nevertheless. Exactly where you want it to be in the middle of the strip, and super close to shopping. Easy access from the Train Station too.
Ottima posizione. Stanze molto caratteristiche e ben organizzate. L' unica pecca sono i letti, abbastanza scomodi.
The rooms are very characteristic and well organized. the only drawback are the beds, quite uncomfortable.
The location couldn’t be better really at the heat of the red district. The building has that old Amsterdam charm, you can really feel the history in the stairs. It’s got character for sure! That said, the cleanliness could use a little love… bathrooms weren’t always at their best. Not atmospher for solo traverlers neither.

The hostel is located in the middle of the red light district. At night is really noisy and makes it hard to sleep. Also it’s not super clean. Other than that is good and it’s close to the station and the center.

La ubicación es inmejorable. Los baños totalmente reformados. Nos dieron una habitación con ventana interior, y aunque las vistas eran muy feas, se agradece por el ruido de los bares y pubs en la noche. El desayuno es correcto, tiene lo mínimo para arrancar bien el día.
The location is unbeatable. the bathrooms totally renovated. we were given a room with an interior window, and although the views were very ugly, one is thankful for the noise of the bars and pubs at night. the breakfast is correct, it has the minimum to start the day well.
Okay hostel for a few nights, but no more. There's no living space and no kitchen, so it's not a great place to meet people. Actually, people barely say hi to each other in the dorm. That being said, the location is great, and the dorm/bathrooms were clean.
It was everything we expected and more, no complaints!
I thought staying in the heart of the Red Light District would be a disaster, but I slept like a charm. People were generally more respectful after hours. The secure lockers were provided for free and that resulted in having a little table in the bed which was super handy. There weren't social spaces outside the room, but a big table with chairs really helped keep it casual. Door was secured and a 'hotel id' issued so I felt quite safe. They also had deals at nearby places - incredible touch!
It was a good property considering it is in the heart of Amsterdam and cheaper than other locations. That said, I was in a mixed shared room and was the only female. It made it more difficult to enjoy my stay as the noise and such (both from roommates and the street below) were seemingly nonstop. The property was very well cleaned but the atmosphere made it difficult to enjoy. Would recommend for group travellers or solo male travellers and a private room for solo females!

Not bad! Good staff, quite clean, had lockers with free keys and towels. Location is important here though definitely consider whether that is good for you. Chose it because it was close to the station and I figured I’d be jet lagged and wanted to be able to get a late night bite in the neighborhood. In that sense, a success, but the RLD is a pain to stay near otherwise. It’s hard to get around at night due to the crowds. Social areas are an afterthought, courtyard is just two wicker c...
Loved staying here! Beds were very comfortable, everything was very clean, and the location can't get any better in central Amsterdam!
De seguro volveré, las habitaciones son amplias, cómodas y limpias.
I'll definitely be back, the rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean.
Bugs, insects and not very clean
This is one of the best hostels I've stayed! I paid for a private room for 3, requested ground floor and they gave us a room for 6 and no additional cost! We also paid for additional breakfast that is it so worth it!!! Even though, it is on the red district, it did not bother us at all. It was not loud, sheets were very clean, beds comfortable, if we got little hot, the fan was turned on and opened the windows. The bathroom and shower worked perfect, no problems at all! I highly recommend it!
