If you are looking for a place with activities and WANT to do them, this is good place to stay. We are on a budget and had no plans of doing most activities with the hostel. I did not enjoy being asked 5 times and saying no 5 different ways before being left alone. For each activity. Rat poop in the bathroom. Hot water for 2 mins and then cold. Double bed is 2 twins pushed together. We did lose an earring and they really tried to help find it. Also double check prices before eating/booking
Very bad experience! Our room had no air conditioning, was dirty and full of bugs and insects. We found five frogs in the bathroom constantly coming out of the sink!!! Very very bad experience. Also, there was no reception, no breakfast and barely no one working there. The website also promises more than what you will have. The appliances of the bathroom were also not working.
Absolutely terrible experience. Our room had no Air conditioning and no lockers, and the bathroom was absolutely filthy and none of the appliances worked properly. The restaurant downstairs was full of hundreds of flies, and the disappointing free breakfast was served on dirty trays with dirty cups. There is no reception and when we finally escaped they tried to short change us. The only positive of this hostel is the location.
Dirtiest hostel I’ve been at in Sri Lanka - My private room was insanely smelly and dirty, the bed sheets had stains in at least five different colors and the towel was smelly as well. I’ve seen rats running around in the kitchen where they also make the burgers for the burger night. The hostel manager is barely at the hostel, mainly 12 year old kids run the place which don’t speak English. Breakfast and location of the hostel was good.

Hostel was closed for renovations with no bookings still open.
The location is close to Sigiriya and Dambulla. The staff was bad. I ordered a tuktuk through the staff for sunrise in Sigiriya but there came no tuk tuk the next morning. Then I tried again for the next morning which succeeded though they tried to s*** me. Another girl went both ways alone for 1500lkr, I was only going one way and ended up paying the same though I had to argue as they wanted 2000lkr for it. Also the food at the restaurant is bad and a lot of loud and disrespectful Indian guests
The hostel itself is a very nice and chill place. Sadly the stuff was a bit too chill. Theres been some confusion about the booked beds and in general i is very unorganized. The dorms have not been not cleaned during my stay, we had to ask for blankets and toilet paper. On top the hostel is very remote, which is nice since it’s very quiet and not bussy as other places. But for food and all the other things you will have to get a tuck tuck, since food options around are very very limited.
Hele vieze kamer. Geen warm water. in totaal 4 kikkers in de kamer gehad. Wifi werkte niet.
The whole room was empty. no hot water. there were a total of 4 kikkers in the room. wifi didn't work.
The staff is laid back to the extend that it makes a bad impression in my opinion. They mixed up stuff with laundry, put stuff on our bill / room we did not consume (they did not insist that we had to pay for the stuff we didn‘ eat or drink though), etc. The location is also pretty remote, so people tend to stay on site for food & drinks, thus they don‘t really have to care to some extend about theor service. Food took ages, chicken had tons of bones, beer was sometimes not that cold.

J'ai passé une nuit dans cette auberge et c'était incroyable ! Le cadre est magnifique, le dortoir et la salle de bain étaient impeccables, tout est neuf, c'est fait avec beaucoup de goût. L'accueil et la convivialité de toutes les personnes qui y travaillent étaient encore plus incroyable. Lorsque je reviendrai à Sigiriya je retournerai sans aucune hésitation dans cette auberge, je ne peux que recommander 😍
I spent a night in this hostel and it was amazing ! the setting is magnificent, the dormitory and bathroom were impeccable, everything is new, it is made with great taste. the hospitality and friendliness of all the people who work there was even more incredible. when i return to sigiriya i will return without any hesitation to this hostel, i can only recommend 😍
We had a great stay at One More Night Hostel. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The hostel felt clean, comfortable, and safe. When we asked for the nearest bus stop, they even walked with us to show the way. Truly amazing service! I highly recommend this place and hope more people discover it.
Die Jungs die dort arbeiten sind super. Aber die Betten sind sehr schlecht und generell ist alles irgendwie sehr improvisiert. Komisches Hostel.
The guys who work there are great, but the beds are really bad and generally everything is kind of very improvised.
Overall a fantastic hostel, especially considering they have only been open 4 months. The guys who run the hostel are amazing! Nothing is ever to much for them, they literally do everything they can to help and make your stay the best it can be! With lots of plans to keep developing the hostel, it will be amazing to see how it evolves over time!!
Es ist eine sehr schöne und moderne Unterkunft. Die Eigentümer sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und rund um die Uhr da. Es liegt ein bischen abgelegener was gut ist wenn man seine Ruhe haben will aber es ist gut ausgeschildert.
It is a very nice and modern accommodation. the owners are very nice and helpful and around the clock. it is located a bit further away which is good if you want to have your peace but it is well signposted.
super good welcome from the host.. great jungle vibe hostel with super clean room and bathrooms.. i really like the bed setup.. they arrange to do all the activities around sigiriya.., next to the hostel newely openned pizza spot with super good pizza .. staff super helpful with everything .. supermarkets, farmacy and supermarkets very close to the hostel.. brand new hostel and ifvyou plan to visit sigiriya.., book this place.. totally recommend ... thank you guys for great experience .. and alk...
My 2 friends and I had an air bnb booked that cancelled on us last minute, we made a last minute booking here for one night 30 minutes before we arrived in Sigiriya. Little did we know that this spot would become the highlight of our trip!! We ended up extending our stay for a whole week and became close friends with the host and staff. It’s a newer hostel but somehow felt like home, I highly recommend you check them out, and I promise you will be pleasantly surprised upon your arrival.
Das Zimmer und das Bad waren sehr sauber. Leider hat die AC nicht ganz so viel gebracht und uns war sehr warm. Der Host Udesh war zunächst sehr nett, aber leider hat er letztendlich etwas übergriffige Fragen gestellt und nicht auf das Nein reagiert. Deshalb haben wir unsere zweite Nacht garnicht mehr dort verbracht, da wir zu dem Zeitpunkt die einzigen Besucher waren.
The room and bathroom were very clean. unfortunately the air conditioning didn't bring much and we were very warm. the host Udesh was very nice at first, but unfortunately he ended up asking a bit of overwhelming questions and didn't respond to the No. so we spent our second night garnicht more there, as we were the only visitors at that time.
Such a great hostel, owner and rest of the team are all really friendly and helpful with organising everything you might want to do (sunrise hike, safari etc.). Did a cooking lesson at the hostel which was delicious and a lot of fun, couldn’t recommend more!! Also very very well priced 😁😁
Amazing hostel we loved our stay here! Very welcoming and attentive staff who fully organised our stay there including a safari tour and sunrise hike, even stopped off for breakfast on the way back. They even gave us a ride to the ATM for free. The breakfast was so tasty too! Overall amazing experience. The only issue was the shower head didn’t work, but we managed.
Not the best hostel I’ve stayed at.. I think they might have two different locations in the area, hence the different reviews? The place has a lot of hammocks to chill, but no pool as indicated in some comments. Got a private room that looked nice but the AC kept on leaking and they did nothing about it. They offer welcome drinks and serve food but you systematically have to wait 1.5 hours to get served. Staff is really nice but not really helpful, if you have questions you should go to the bo...
Helped us so much with arranging things. Like safari and trips. Very nice host, we also spend singalese new year together! I would recommend!
Super leuke mensen. De dorm is heel schoon, en de bedden zijn ruim. De sfeer buiten is ook erg goed met mooie lampjes en elke avond sfeervolle muziek. Als je hier verblijft vergeet dan ook niet te kijken bij hun burgertent genaamd, one more bite. Dit zijn echt fantastisch goede burgers.
The dorm is very clean, and the beds are spacious. The atmosphere outside is also very good with beautiful lights and every night atmospheric music. If you stay here don't forget to check out their burger tent called, one more bite. These are really fantastic good burgers.

really nice stay and the owner/staff so accomodating. even going as far as transporting us to our next accommodation. Sunrise hike reasonably priced and the food was reslly good too!

the staff were lovely. however the atmosphere was flat. the room was clean and mattress were decent but no curtains so little privacy. location is 25 mins tuktuk to all of the main hikes. food was not bad.
