- Chambre commune, aucune intimité, trop de monde, trop de bruit, douche et toilette degueulasse, odeur de javel incessante, impossible de dormir entre les allez et venue dans la chambre en plein millieu de la nuit, les gens qui ce coupe les ongles a 3h du matin, le bruit des casier en metal sous le lit, ya certainement pire j'imagine, mais je ne retournerai pas dans cet hotel

- J’ai séjourné dans cette auberge et je dois dire que j’ai été extrêmement déçu par presque tout. Le matelas était incroyablement fin (à peine 5-6cm d’épaisseur), donc totalement inconfortable : résultat, j’ai eu mal au dos toute la nuit. La serviette fournie était sale, avec de nombreuses traces noires, ce qui n’est franchement pas acceptable niveau hygiène. De plus, le site indiquait que les chambres étaient insonorisées, mais c’était clairement faux. J’ai entendu une chambre voisine faire énormément de bruit toute la nuit, y compris des moments très intimes, ainsi que des portes qui claquaient dans les couloirs. Vers 1h du matin, quelqu’un s’est même promené sur la rambarde métallique près des fenêtres en rigolant pendant que ses amies criaient, chantaient et hurlaient. Nous avons dû prévenir la réception et la sécurité, mais je ne suis même pas sûr qu’ils aient réussi à intervenir efficacement. Enfin, j’ai dû payer une taxe supplémentaire de 2,60€ alors que des taxes semblaient déjà incluses lors de la réservation. Quand j’ai demandé des explications, presque personne ne parlait français et l’unique personne qui m’a répondu donnait surtout l’impression d’essayer de m’embrouiller. Bref, une expérience très décevante !

Stayed here solo for 5 nights, the hostel felt clean and safe. Because there’s a bar inside it can get loud/busy on the ground floor, but it was never a bother to me. Staff very kind and accommodating.
Warning for all Americans traveling to France.. they will treat you like the politics that make Hollywood and not very friendly to foreigners from the USA.. I strongly suggest if and when you travel to France from the united states don’t stay here.. they will be very apparent about how they view people from the USA.

I arrived at the hostel and from the very first moment, Leticia was a wonderful person. She also has the great advantage of speaking Spanish, French, and English, and she spoke to me in Spanish the entire time, which I truly appreciated. Overall a positive stay. There were a few issues with the building: the light was hanging in the shower and the light next to my bed was missing. Otherwise everything else was to standard and worth the money.
The stay was okay for a few days, even though some things were broken or didn't work (lockers, showers, faucets, curtains, water dispensers, etc.) They charge you for a lot of things (€8 for breakfast when I saw afterwards that it was supposed to be €5?!) I was a bit disappointed overall, but I couldn't find a better alternative.
Dangerous, unsafe, suspicious Bags stolen in locker room .. I arrived before check-in and rented a locker in locker room & was given password you can’t change. I followed locking instructions, 15 min. later locker was opened, money & card stolen from bag. I saw locker open and thief before he left. It was my first stay in EU. As I’m solo traveler and I love this kind of place but the only when you put your luggage before checking in that will be charged in Paris only the rest of the place stayed in Barcelona, Madrid and Lisbon I no need to pay for it… location 10/10 Room cleaning 10/10 Staff behaviour 10/10 The staff given me welcome drink coupon that can be used in bar that they have… Thanks a lot .. It was a last minute choice for me but turned out to be greater than I expected. The view from the hostel was amazing. It is very near to a lovely park and spending time around the canal was really therapeutic. Apart from all those, the hostel was absurdly clean, which I didn't expect, again. Très bon accueil ! La terrasse au bord du canal est très agréable. Rien à dire sur la propreté, bravo à l'équipe de ménage. Petites réparations des rideaux de lits, un frigo et cela sera parfait.
Very good welcome ! the terrace by the canal is very nice. nothing to say about the cleanliness, bravo to the cleaning team. small repairs of the bed curtains, a refrigerator and it will be perfect.
Everything is bit broken or not working very well here and there. Bed was comfortable. Bring your own badlock for locker. For those illiterate like me, there's no kitchen. Room was nice, but everything else bit meh.
Nice, helpful staff who even tried to give me and my friend (who booked separately) the same dorm. Beds with curtains, which was nice for privacy. My duvet cover seemed to be a bit old though, there was a rip in the side. Atmosphere was alright. The location wasn't great; it's nice to be next to the canal, but it's quite far from the centre and all the famous spots.
