Tranquil hostel with a warm and friendly manager. Location is good, the private room is nice and cozy. Would recommend!

Very nice Host, super helpful in organising everything. Not many activities, a tuktuk ride from town away so not too easy to go out. Clean and chance to meet fellow travellers at the common area, which is very comfy.

The hostel is not in the city centre but thats fine. The only issue that I can point is that there is only 1 bathroom/toilet and so you need to wait everyone to finish tonbe able to shower. The most valuable thing is Mr. Udaya who is a star. He is the owner but never stop working (1st to wake up, last to sleep) and is always here for any request, help. He helped me to book taxis, to take some cash causeI had an issue with my credit card... He is amazing!! Thank you for your attention to details

I really enjoyed my stay at Eden Hostel. The beautiful, peaceful garden truly lives up to the name, with lots of greenery and even some local flora and fauna. The owner was very helpful, offering great recommendations and helping us arrange a driver for our next stop. A calm and lovely place to stay in Kandy.

the owner was great and had so many hints for food and day trips. he managed everything and helped me even to print me ticket for my trainride to nuwara eliya :) everyday cleaning was nice and the breakfast very delicious. head a great time there !!

Ottima sotto tutti i punti di vista ad eccezione per la posizione un po’ fuori dal centro, che però diventa un vantaggio se si vuole stare in una zona tranquilla senza allontanarsi troppo dal centro.

The owner here is so gracious. He was helpful throughout arranging space for the rented car, helping with the laundry and early breakfast as well. Very peaceful space away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Highly recommend!

beautiful hostel, lovely owner who gave good advice about the local area, a few of his food suggestions were closed due to a bank holiday, quiet calm atmosphere not very social, really helpful with buses for onward travel and wrote me directions to show to the driver so I got to the right place

I really enjoyed my stay here. The owner made me feel very welcome. He gave me some great advice on what to do in Kandy and even prepared a special breakfast for me when I told him I was vegan. Thank you so much for everything ☺️

My stay was excellent. The host went above and beyond to offer suggestions on activities, places to eat etc. The stay has the most homey feeling to it, very relaxing place. I met some lovely, like-minded girls at this stay who I ended up traveling the rest of Sri Lanka with. The stay was a little bit out of town, but easy to get a tuktuk.

Such a nice modern hostel with really spacious and clean rooms, there is also lots of comfortable seating areas too. The owner is also really kind and so helpful if you have any questions or need a hand with organising any part of your trip!

One of the loveliest hostels I’ve ever seen,it looks like a big ancient house being turned into a hostel so you can see lots of different antique designs.The owner is such a nice gentleman helping you out with every information for Kandy.If I have more time,I’d have stayed longer just to relax at this hostel

We really enjoyed our stay at Eden. From the start Udaya was extremely welcoming and helpful which is so important for a good stay. The location is nice, a quiet residential road at the top of the hill. We usually walked down into town (15mins) and got a tuk tuk back up the hill for 4/500 ish. The common areas are huge and the rooms light, airy and clean. There is a water filter but no fridge. Would recommend 10/10

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful Eden Kandy, ran by the fantastic Udaya! Udaya was so welcoming and helpful. He was very proactive in making sure we had everything we needed and was at hand to coordinate activities and transfers for the best price! The hostel was spotless and our room and bathroom were incredibly spacious. The AC in the room was a dream. The hostel is conveniently located just a short ride away from the main town of Kandy but also has a café and smaller shops nearby.

Loved my stay at Eden. From check in to check out, everything was smooth. Udaya was really welcoming and helpful. He shared links of places and activities to do in Kandy and went beyond to help guests at home. Room is clean and has outside view of trees and birds. Breakfast was nice too. Would come back when in Kandy.

Wonderful hostel! Clean and safe but the real stand out is the host. He was so helpful and kind. Sent us many recommendations. Not just for Kandy but everywhere we were going after. Wonderful experience

Lovely hostel. Super clean and beautiful with a terrace looking over a lovely garden. Nice and social vibe and the owner was so helpful. I would definitely recommend. Just be aware it is up a steep hill!
