Do not recommend. Rooms had no lock just a shack in the middle of a path so no security at all. Beds only had a little blanket that was it and it looked very dodgey. Floor of the bedroom was really dirty. There was only a few garden chairs outside the reception desk to socialise. There was no sun beds again to socialise. Frequent powercuts at annoying times which we understand may not be your fault however other hostels seemed to have less problems with this. location okay for nestival and beac

Avoid this place at all costs. This property should be burned down. One of the rooms got evacuated and sent to a different hostel bc there were bed bugs (they didn’t get refund), rats in ceiling, landfill on property so whole place smells sour, door doesn’t even shut to room, cats kept coming in. The list goes on and on. It’s literally a shack. I love to camp and have gone a week without showering and have never felt more disgusting than at this place.

It was awful. Staff were rude, two rooms out of 6 had to evacuate because of bed begs, and the doors didn't shut properly, let alone lock. The "lockers" had nowhere to put a padlock so didn't lock either. Aircon was inconsistent. The sheets were satin and the blanket was rough. The walls had holes in and you could hear people talking in all the other rooms. It stank outside by the toilets. Wouldn’t recommend staying in such an awful place on such a beautiful island.

Possibly the worst place we have stated travelling. The water was brown, cold and found a bed bug. There was no lock for the door anyone could have gone in and stolen out stuff. I felt very scared going to sleep incase anyone or anything would have come in the room. Please update your facilities.

Es war unglaublich dreckig und dadurch waren dort so viele Insekten. Ich glaube nicht, das regelmäßig sauber gemacht wird, bei dem Anblick an die WCs und Duschen. The only good thing about this hostel is the location. On my first night it rained and the ceiling leaked on the guy above me in his bed. On my last night, I got back and all my stuff was missing and the bed was made. Clearly there had been a mixup. Then a girl came back at 4am saying it was her bed etc… this was an awful experience all round. They gave me a refund for that night but I would never recommend this place. It was overall very dirty. I would stay at lost boys if I came back

Overal ligt zand, ook in mn bed toen ik aankwam, de douches en wcs zijn allemaal stuk of slecht functionerend, er waren geen leeslampjes oid, de deuren konden niet op slot en de enige kluisjes waren kleine buiten en er liep een RAT in onze kamer

Would not recommend, generally felt very dirty especially the bathrooms. Room was not cleaned for the whole 4 nights we stayed there. The location on the beach was nice but unfortunately a lot of trash washed up and nobody working at the hostel bothered to clean it. The best thing about the place was the bonfire and the happy hour cocktails but would sleep elsewhere, you can find places with better value for money!

Very good location, with a nice view. Loved the hostel reps, especially Joe!

Really cute puppy but the toilets and showers were dirty. The rooms were basic but could be opened by anyone so not safe. Air con wasn’t on most of the time and really dirty so it gave me a cough. Nice staff though and on the beach!!!

This place is so nice!! Your right on the beach and super close to restaurants, bars and shops. During the day it’s such a relaxing atmosphere and then in the evening it becomes more lively. I would absolutely recommend to everyone, as it is a great place to relax, have fun and meet new people.

Came here for nestival and the location was sooooo perfect. The staff and facilities were so nice, I loved waking up to the beach on my door step. the food was delicious awell! Thank you Ilze and Loveday for making my stay so nice!!

Yellow Sun Koh Rong has a great location right on the beach. The price is one of the best for a beachfront hostel. I felt like family here the volunteers and staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely great hostel, situated in a lovely location at the beachfront, very social, the volunteers are so lovely and helpful great vibes! We intended to stay for 4 days but extended for 8 days in the end as we loved it here, the manager is so nice and helps as soon as we need it, amazing events nearby most nights, improvement’s on the hostel were happening each day, for the price you pay it’s the best on the island.
