Respecto al precio, cobran recargo adicional si se paga con tarjeta. No brindan información completa, ya que al haber reservado por la aplicación, segun había reservado con desayuno y hasta llegar al lugar se me informo que no era así, pregunte los precios del desayuno y nunca me los brindaron. As for the price, they charge an extra fee if you pay by card. They don't provide complete information, because having booked through the app, I had booked with breakfast and until I got to the place if I informed myself that it wasn't, I asked for the prices of breakfast and they never gave them to me. Het hostel zag er best wel mooi uit, maar onze kamer was niet wat we zagen op de fotos. Ons bed was gewoon een soort van steen, gelukkig met een grote matras. Maar het gene dat ons het meest stoorde was dat elke ochtend rond 6u je wakker werd door lawaai, omdat de kamers zich vlak naast de ontbijtruimte bevinden. Niet alleen gasten van het hostel, maar ook mensen van buitenaf konden hier ontbijten. Ook was de locatie niet ideaal, je moest ongeveer nog een 15min wandelen tot het centrum.
The hostel looked pretty, but our room was not what we saw on the photos. Our bed was just a kind of stone, fortunately with a large mattress. But the thing that we were most upset about was that every morning around 6am you were woken up by noise, because the rooms were right next to the breakfast room. Not only the hostel guests, but also people from outside could have breakfast here. Also the location was not ideal, I had to walk about another 15min to the center.
The staff here were lovely and the location is great, however there was no communal area other than the restaurant and nowhere to cook/wash water bottles. It feels quite restaurant first, hostal/hotel second and so it could be awkward walking in and out of my room to a packed restaurant. Overall though the room was clean and the Aircon was great
We have mixed feelings about our stay at Velvet. We really liked the breakfast and the staff was super nice. Unfortunately we didn’t like our room at all. It wasn’t that clean and there was mold inside the room and the bathroom. Moreover, there wasn’t a kitchen that we could use even though the description says there is one. We stayed just for one night and that was okay and maybe the other rooms look better but we would not stay here again. Sorry :(
The room was very small and the aircondition didn't work. The location is okay. But the breakfast area was right beside the rooms, so be prepared to loud talking people at 7 am. overall it was still okay
nice staff and good located place. rooms felt a bit cramped and damp due to no natural ventilation and leaving the door opened onto the communal space. Really nice breakfast but a bit of confusion if the kitchen was available to use at other times and wasn't explained so we never had a chance to cook which we would have liked
This is a quirky hotel but unfortunately the layout means it’s very noisy all of the time. Most room open onto the dining /common area and they walls and doors are very thin. I was woken every morning at 5.45 by staff laying the breakfast tables. Similarly I was kept awake very late, by either screaming children or customers and staff sat drinking and socialising. The staff were great and the room was very comfortable. The listing specified it had a kitchen that we could use, but the kitchen was for the adjoining cafe, so we weren't allowed to use it. Also the rooms open up to the cafe so from 6:30am it is very noisy.
This place is fine. The room was fine. It’s not a hostel, you walk out of your room and you’re in a restaurant which is kind of weird. If you’re looking for any version of socialising this isn’t your place. There are also only The free breakfast is a nice addition and the staff are nice. A late night led to my partner being locked out with no staff around which was a bit concerning. If I hadn’t been there he would have had to sit on the street until morning. No curfew information ...
Staff were very friendly, kind and helpful. The manager spoke perfect English and gave very helpful recommendations. Free breakfast was delicious! It felt very safe and secure. However, it is a hotel not a hostel and there is no communal kitchen. The bed was very uncomfortable, room had mould, and rooms were very noisy as they are off the dining space so we were woken up early every morning from staff cleaning, music & people having breakfast.

Personal ist super nett! Ich glaube sie sind am Start von etwas wunderbarem! Helft ihnen mit Feedback zu wachsen. Die Duschen waren lauwarm aber die Zimmergrösse mega! Parkieren kein Problem, Frühstück war voll in Ordnung und die Lage zumindest mit dem Auto sehr gut.
Personal is super nett! i think they are at the start of something wonderful! help them grow with feedback. the showers were lukewarm but the room size was mega! parking no problem, breakfast was voll in Ordnung and the location at least with the car very good.

Relaxing accommodation with the most helpful and welcoming staff and a great breakfast.

Loved it here, amazing price for private room with ensuite, air con and tv Room gets cleaned daily with fresh towels, so always nice and clean Staff were so friendly always asking if we need anything, free breakfast was delicious We extended our stay here as we liked it so much Walking distance from everything we needed
Great hotel with great atmosphere and food
Lovely place to stay. Close to the cathedral / centre of town. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice decor. Good Wifi. A shower with only warm water ( not hot) and the bathroom being a bit shabby is the only weakness. Overall though, the hostel for it's price, including a good breakfast is very well recommended

Nice place for a break from socialising. Super cheap for a private room with breakfast included. Nothing fancy just a bed and shower and room but all I needed the night before a flight. Breakfast was also nice

Not the most social, but that is the only gripe here — there isn’t a lot of tourism in ES at the moment. This hostel is in a great location, staff are so nice, and the free breakfast was such a perfect cherry to top the experience. Would stay here again
Bon rapport qualité/prix. Le Velvet Hostal est très bien situé dans la ville. Les aires communes sont magnifiques et les déjeuners sont bons. Les chambres de base sont petites (à noter qu’il ne s’agit pas de l’image principale - avec fenêtres - que nous voyons quand on réserve), mais confortables malgré tout. En termes d’activités, je recommande fortement le volcan de Santa Ana et Conception de Ataco (finca El Carmen, le mirador et le village).
The Velvet Hostel is very well located in the city. The common areas are magnificent and the lunches are good. The basic rooms are small (note that it is not the main image - with windows - that we see when we book), but comfortable nonetheless. In terms of activities, I highly recommend the volcano of Santa Ana and Conception de Ataco (finca El Carmen, the viewpoint and the village).
Staff were great, really helpful and quick with the laundry service (offered in house with a 3-hour turnaround). Free breakfast was good and rooms were decent, though the downstairs ones were a little dark. Street felt a tad sketchy, didn't encounter any issues personally but felt a bit uneasy at night. No social atmosphere unfortunately.
Really enjoyed my stay at Velvet. The staff were incredibly helpful when enquiring about the town and organising trips for us. The room was nice and as described and the breakfast was delicious. Most importantly: the bed was SO comfortable!
Honestly such a nice hostel, great value for what you get. Felt more like a nice hotel with comfy big beds, tv and en-suite. Great breakfast and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.
