Hanoi Wanderlust Hostel & Travel

I liked everything about this place until I rolled over in bed and saw the worst case of black mold I’ve ever seen. It was growing from beneath the bed right by my pillow. I’m not sure if I was just really unlucky and all of the other beds were fine but I left asap.

Not very social, but nice rooms and the bathrooms are also clean. Good breakfast

No hot water- soap dispenser broken and leaking all over. Clogged drain in shower. Unfriendly staff. It was clean though. Definitely can find better hostel in Hanoi but it was meh

I stayed in two different rooms and unfortunately in both of them was so much mold on the walls, even at the wall next to my bed straight next to my head. It wasn't just a little bit, but in some places there were huge patches of mold. The rooms themselves looked nice but were also pretty damp. The staff is very friendly though and the breakfast was also nice.

AC hat nicht richtig funktioniert und dadurch war die Luft in dem Zimmer so feucht, dass sich das Bett klamm angefühlt hat. Ansonsten für 1-2 Nächte in Ordnung. Aber kein Hostel zum Leute kennenlernen.

Overall its a decent hostel. The beds were comfy and rooms clean. However it didnt really feel like a hostel to me, more like a hotel with dorms. There is basically no social atmosphere because there is no common room to hangout in, the upper deck is not nice to hangout in when its raining. The shower would flood into the rest of the bathroom and leave the floor wet. My locker and 2 others werent working initially until they fixed it. I wouldnt recommend it, but it was not bad by any means.

It was a nice hostel with nice location and okay facilities, however there was no common room where you could meet people, besides at breakfast which was in a room on the sixth floor since the rooftop is getting renovated. We had some problems with unexplainable water inside the room and towels would never dry…

Great stay in Hanoi. Friendly, helpful staff who made everything easy and welcoming. Clean, comfortable rooms and a social but relaxed vibe. Location was perfect for exploring the city. Would happily stay again!

Super Hostel, super Lage, nicht so gut zum sozialisieren

Schönes Hostel in der Altstadt, nahe vielem Sehenswertem. Das Mehrbettzimmer und Bad waren sauber, großes Schließfach, Steckdosen und Schränkchen am Bett. Das Frühstücksbuffet war richtig gut. Die Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich.

Loved staying here, staff were really helpful and friendly. Bed cubicles were comfy and breakfast was tasty. Had a problem with my locker where the batteries went which caused an issue

The staff was professional. Spacious dorm. Good locker. The breakfast was generous. Since this was my last hostel on my 6 weeks trip in Viet Nam, I added additional comments. There is an abundance of quality hostels and budget hotels in Viet Nam at low prices, but I found it frustrating to find decent restaurants in Viet Nam. You need to order double portions to satisfy your hunger. What the “pho",“banh mi” was always good for me. In less traveled Viet Nam, you will have limited options to...

Saubere Betten und Bad, nette Dachterasse. Sehr gutes inkludiertes Frühstück mit viel Auswahl. Wenn man ein Zimmer im sechsten Stock hat, kann es sein, dass es nachts laut ist, wegen der Musik und Personen auf der Dachterasse ( war aber nur an einem von zwei Abenden der Fall)

Best hostel in Hanoi, they made my trip in Ha Giang with WANDERLOOP, it was the highlight of my entire travels in Vietnam> Staff were amazing they remembered guests' name and always check on us to make sure we had a great time. Thank you Wanderlust team

amazing hostel probably my favourite in Vietnam, I came back to it 3 times that should say though, the dorms are so spacious with comfy beds, and the hostel is spotless, the ensuite bathrooms were regularly cleaned. I booked the ha giang and sapa tours through here and they were brilliant and so informative. lovely rooftop with free beer in the eve for half an hour easy to socialise but not a party place. oh also AMAZING buffet breakfast! MASSIVE SHOUT OUT TO PHUONG and the rest of the staff!

Very pleasant hostel to stay at. Nice clean rooms with good facilities, kind staff and a good location. You pay a bit more but get a lot for it in return

Good hostel for the price, and great breakfast included. Less of a social vibe but many nice people staying there. The dorms were comfy although lockers could be difficult with the key card.

I enjoyed my stay here! The hostel is clean, the facilities are good and it is a pretty sociable hostel! I also booked my Ha Giang Loop through this hostel doing the "Wanderloop tour" which was a highlight of my trip and would recommend to anyone seeking a more intimate Ha Giang Loop with smaller crowds and more local immersion. Also Cindy at the front desk was very attentive and helpful. So credit to Cindy!
