Musical Hostel

I had an awful experience when another guest arrived at 3 AM making a lot of noise (understandable, it’s part of renting a shared bedroom), but when I got up he started complaining about the noise and threatening me. I went to reception to notify about this, but they did nothing about him, who tried to punch me twice even in front of other people. I had to check out early and the receptionist didn’t help at all. Worst experience ever in a hostel.

Viel zu weit weg und völlig unhygienisch! Nicht zu empfehlen

Meine erste Buchung mit Hostelworld und dann so eine absolute Katastrophe. Ich kam abends an und stand als Alleinreisende vor verschlossenen Türen. Es stellte sich heraus, dass das Musical Hostel erst im März öffnet (mein Aufenthalt sollte Mitte Februar sein). Niemand fühlt(e) sich zuständig, weder seitens des Musical Hostels noch seitens Hostelworld habe ich Ansprechpartner bekommen. Und meine bereits getätigte Anzahlung habe ich noch immer nicht zurückerhalten. Eine absolute Frechheit!

I got kicked out and arrested for bringing a girl back with me to my empty room. Very upset about it. Extremely unreasonable that i cannot bring a guest with me to my hostel. Ive never ever had this issue before and ive stayed in dozens of hostels and brought guests home eith me many times withiut any issues. Front desk man should be ashamed of his actions that night. Completely ridiculous reaction to call the police on two people doing nothing wrong. I will never stay here again.

There’s no locks/access pass needed to enter at any door : the entrance or your room, so anyone can come in at any time. ANTS in the room, there were A LOT of them and even when told to the front desk they didn’t do anything. Only 2 shower for a whole floor, which is not what I’m used to in other basic hostels. Bed was not comfortable, you can hear the loud music from the streets for a big part of the night since it’s not really insulated. I do not recommend this hostel.

If you want to Sleep and have a rest, this is not the hostel for you! The Hostel is just above alive music bar which will be playing until 4 in the morning. They are also sensor lights in the room, which will make you wake up every time somebody moves.. Possibly a fine place if you want to party all night long, but if that’s not the case, you should skip this!

The hostel is clean and decent, Elaine was wonderful and very sweet.As for the downside, if your a girl and you like to party I recommend this hostel but stay in a girls only dorm, mixed rooms are right above a loud bar and you hear absolutely everything to the point where your bed shakes, if you don’t like to party or are more of a traveler, this emplacement is very touristy and incredibly Americanized, as for the showers, they aren’t locked, anyone can get in. Las habitaciones muy pequeñas las literas pegadas una a la otra no hay espacio para a penas pasar a la cama, no hay espacios comunes para estar solo una mini mesa en la mini cocina y una mini mesa en recepción para toda la gente insuficiente si no quieres ir a la terraza no hay opción. El personal soso y limpian por la mañana cuando estás desayunando parece que molestes porque no hay espacio, estaba tranquilo y la ubicación buena nada más. La mini cocina cierra a las once. As a travel agent who has stayed a various hostels, I was quite disappointed with this one and will not be recommending it to my future clients.

This was the best hostel I have ever stayed at. Everything was so clean and the staff is extremely friendly. Perfect for female solo travelers. I will definitely be back.

The best hostel I have ever stayed. Very modern and comfortable, in the heart of the old city. Very very clean and staff members are very friendly and welcoming. Specious shower cabins. Kitchen is small, but very well equipped. There is jacuzzis on the patio. I was in the room 100 and it had 12 beds. Room was very spacious and had very good quality lockers. Bed was comfortable and had curtain around it. There was long shelf by side of the bed which was very handy. Only problem was pub noise.

Everyone was very nice, free washing, free towels, and we could even take a shower after we checked out! Would definitely stay here again:)

This place was great! The bedrooms and bathrooms were kept very clean. However, there were small ants in the room even before any food was brought up. The staff were super friendly and attentive. There was an outdoor area with tables and chairs where we could hang out with friends. There was also a hot tub, but it was never really hot. The rooms had spacious lockers to store personal belongings. The bedrooms themselves didn't lock, but I still felt safe at this hostel.

Ostello? Ma è un hotel di lusso!!!!Nuovo, colorato,letto comodo e con la privacy della tenda ,cucina super attrezzata e c'è anche la lavatrice.Bellissimo terrazzo con vasca idromassaggio e personale gentilissimo. Anche riguardo alla posizione.... è il top....direttamente nella piazza dove si sera c'è tanta animazione e se si è in macchina ,la si può parcheggiare lungo la strada in una via sovrastante,per poi scendere delle scalette ed essere direttamente al musical hostel!

My time here was amazing! Met lots of people and the staff were all lovely. Beds were very comfortable and spacious. Location is ideal!

Great hostel in Albufeira with lovely staff and perfect location right next to beach and bars. Jacuzzi was also very much loved.

Carla and the male staff member were lovely but the other lady was very condescending when approaching issues we had, even though we didn’t make a big deal out of it. We felt we were then unable to report another issue we had of something that appeared like and smelled like faeces on one of the duvets so we just left it. The hostel itself was great and it was very modern and nice inside but the attitude of that worker when we approached the issue lightly changed our experience overall

Friendly staff, always clean, the kitchen area is nice and spotless also, seating are by the jacuzzi is a nice touch, bunks are comfortable and curtains for privacy, lockers decent size, good location, i will definitely stay here again.

Melhor hostel que eu já visitei super recomendo tem tudo ao seu dispor, cozinha, toalhas, jacuzzi, tudo bem arrumado organizada limpo e alguns passo da praia

Great hostel!!! The property is extremely clean and well kept, the location is perfect, right in the centre of the old town, bars, clubs, the beach, shops are close by. The staff were all extremely helpful and kind. The facilities are great also, functional kitchen, jacuzzi, FREE CLOTHES WASHING, free towels and beach towels. I was extremely pleased with this hostel and recommended it.

Ubicación céntrica en la parte “vieja” de la cuidad. Habitaciones cómodas, los lockers algo chicos. No es un hostel para conocer personas, casi nunca hay gente y el hostel no fomenta que ocurra. Cocina muy completa. La lavandería es free, por lo que solo hay que comprar jabón.
