The price of the rooms is extremely high considering the quality of the facilities.The wifi didn't work for a minute, in addition to the simply non-existent hygiene in the only shared bathroom available. There are few bathrooms for the number of rooms, which was not enough and was always filthy. Both the bathrooms and the bedroom stank like a septic tank. The bed was very old and uncomfortable. Lots of noise, the walls were thin and you could hear everything that was going on in the other rooms
Vor Ort war kein Zimmer mit Bad (wie gebucht) verfügbar, gegen einen entsprechenden Minderpreis erhielten wir ein Zimmer mit Gemeinschaftsbad. Das Mobliar war sehr dürftig und in eher schlechtem Zustand. Die Einrichtungen war veraltet, funktionierten aber. Ein Bett war defekt, es fehlten Nachttischlampen (wie im Foto dargestellt). Die Mängel wurden nach der Reklamation umgehend behoben. Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt wirkte alles etwas improvisiert.
The furniture was very poor and in rather bad condition. The facilities were outdated, but functioned. Ein Bett was defective, there were no night lamps (as shown in the photo). The deficiencies were immediately corrected after the complaint. The staff were very nice and helpful. Overall, everything seemed a bit improvised.
Insgesamt ok. Sehr nettes personal,top Lage und das Zimmer war sauber. Doch die Bäder ließen zu wünschen übrig. Das Bad mit einer Toilette war nicht besonders sauber und hatte ein Fenster, das in einen anderen raum führte. Das bedeutet es war immer sehr feucht/ nass. Das bad mit einer Dusche konnte man nicht abschließen - als ich duschte kam ein Mann herein.
Overall ok. very nice staff, top location and the room was clean. but the bathrooms left something to be desired. the bathroom with a toilet was not particularly clean and had a window that led to another room. that means it was always very wet. the bathroom with a shower you couldn't close - when I showered a man came in.
Für den Preis war das Hostel für unseren Kurz-/Wochenendtripp absolut ausreichend. Das Mobiliar (Schrank + Nachtschrank) könnte gerne mal erneuert werden sowie die "Bettblende" an der Wandmontiert. Davon abgesehen war die Lager super und der/die Mitarbeiter total nett und zuvorkommend. Wir würden einen weiteren Besuch definitiv in Betracht ziehen.
For the price the hostel was absolutely sufficient for our short/weekend trip. The furniture (Closet + Nightstand) could be renewed as well as the "Bettblende" on the wall mounted. Apart from that the storage was super and the staff was totally neat and friendly. We would definitely consider another visit.
A good and affordable place in the very centre of Barcelona. If you are looking for a place to just sleep and otherwise spend your time in the city, this hostel is for you. Everything is very basic but clean and I felt safe as a woman travelling solo. Staff was super nice and helpful. Would come back any time.
