The location is great, right next to the lake and the main street where all the shops and restaurants are, the kitchen was well equipped and big, the common area was good. But what I noticed from the beginning is a problem of hygiene, the kitchen was almost always filthy and messy, my room was full of dirt, one shower didn't work, the other one was full of mold and fungus and the third one got flooded constantly, meaning that you have to wait or get your feet in water that others showered in.
Soley's is probably great in season but I went late April. I was expecting it to be quiet but there wasn't really any effort by the hostel to bring people together despite there being lots of people there. Staff were overall very helpful. There was a slight laundry mix up. Beds were average comfort but there were no curtains for privacy. It can also get quite cold in the afternoons/evenings in the dorm rooms unless you leave the door open to let the central wood burner heat it up. Good location.

Ma chambre était très petite. Je me sentais un peu enfermée, on avait pas la place pour nos affaires et le ménage n’était pas fait tant qu’occupée. Petite cuisine dans la maison aussi. Les espaces dans le jardin (cabanons de cuisine/ salle à manger) sont bien plus accueillants et confortables. Aussi, j’ai donné mon linge à laver, il est revenu humide et tâché. En revanche, c’était assez convivial. J’ai rencontré beaucoup de monde et c’est juste à côté de la rue princ...
My room was very small. I felt a little closed off, we didn't have room for our things and the housekeeping was not done until busy. Small kitchen in the house too. The spaces in the garden (kitchen cabanas/dining room) are much more welcoming and comfortable. Also, I gave my laundry to wash, it came back wet and stained. On the other hand, it was quite friendly. I met a lot of people and it's right next to the main street, so very convenient.
It’s a cool hostel spread across a large space, which makes it feel a bit awkward in the social sense. there are multiple kitchens and common areas, so people tend to group up a bit. beautiful location right on the lake, with clean facilities. the kitchen felt a bit crowded at times. also i paid extra for a private room, but it was insanely small with minimal ventilation.
I really liked the hostel and can highly recommend it to solo travelers.

The location of this hostel was amazing. The staff/volunteers were helpful and the atmosphere was pretty good. However, I found the facilities and the cleanliness to be a bit lacking. For example, the upstairs toilet leaked quite frequently from the base which was gross. The kitchen sink was often full of dishes, however this is more the fault of the people who were staying there at the time. Overall a good hostel, but some room for improvement!
Im Soley Hostel wurde ich sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Wohn-/ Esszimmer lädt dazu ein schnell Kontakte zu knüpfen und das Hostel hat eine tolle Lage! Die Küche ist etwas spärlich ausgestattet und ebenso wie die Zimmer relativ schnell eng, wenn viele Menschen da sind. Sauberkeit war ok.
The living room/esszimmer invites to make a quick contact and the hostel has a great location! the kitchen is somewhat sparsely equipped and also the rooms relatively tight if there are many people there. cleanliness was ok.

Loved this hostel, had a great vibe! Close to the downtown area, right next to the beautiful lake. Manager went above and beyond helping me buy a bus ticket and getting me there last minute. Kitchen sink would clog often but because ppl dont properly wash their dishes. Certain showers the hot/cold water would go in and out. Beds were comfortable though with big lockers in the room. Would stay again!

Such a lovely hostel, would definitely recommend! The staff is also very helpful with organizing activities&tours :)
Je conseille le dortoir de 9 lits, vous êtes dans votre cabane avec votre cuisine. Les espaces communs sont propres, souvent rangés par les volontaires, l'auberge est grande mais conviviale. Soirees organisées en partenariat avec une boîte de nuit pour ceux qui le souhaitent
I recommend the 9-bed dormitory, you are in your own cabin with your own kitchen. the common areas are clean, often cleaned by volunteers, the hostel is large but friendly. evenings organized in partnership with a nightclub for those who wish

amazing hostel, located next to the lake, at the end of the main street. staff are very nice, big hostel with lots of people, there is a big garden with many hammocks, many bathrooms and 3 kitchens.

Habe dieses Hostel geliebt. So nette, hilfsbereite Menschen. Die lage direkt am See einfach nur klasse. Man konnte jeden abend einen wundervollen Sonnenuntergang sehen. Alles sauber und gemütlich. Wirklich empfehlenswert!!

L’emplacement du hostel est idéal, c’est en face de l’eau et à un coin de la rue principale. Le staff est super gentil et accommodant, tu peux louer des kayaks durant la journée et le coucher du soleil pour pas très cher. Tout est propre et les espaces communs sont principalement à l’extérieur. Très recommandé!
The location of the hostel is ideal, it is in front of the water and on a corner of the main street. the staff is super nice and accommodating, you can rent kayaks during the day and at sunset for not very expensive. everything is clean and the common areas are mainly outdoors. highly recommended!
Will definitely come back here next time I'm in Pucón!
