I actually liked it. It’s not a really social hostel. There trips are really well organised. But in the end there was one problem. I extended my stay by one night and payed it right away. I asked the cashier, if I need any proof for it and she just said no. Then later I was told I did not pay and there is no record of it and I had to pay a second time. They were quite trying to find a record of it but didn’t do so. Apparat from that it is a sevens hostel with a perfect location
Pretty average hostel, not super nice but the hagiang loop was amazing and would really recommend if you don’t want a super party vibe, met a lot of like minded people and was one of the best experiences of my travels!!
Below is a comment from a friend who stayed at the hostel. This is because i made the reservation for the hostel. It was a bit disappointing that there was no resting area or share space other than the bedroom. Only one female staff was friendly, and i felt completely ignored by two other male staff, which made me feel very bad. I wish they would sincerely welcome guests. Please don't tell me if you want great hospitality, go to hotel.
They organize a lot of tours but not super social.A bit on the pricier side of hostels in Hanoi and no breakfast but the staff is the nicest I have met! And the rooms are nice and clean and the location is also really good, super close to everything!
Very nice place and service.😍
Lovely helpful staff take you to your room and recommend things to do and see. Secure lockers for your things and nice black out curtains for dorms. Have a storage rack for bags if needing to leave your stuff during the day. Central location in the old quarter. Would say a bit more dated compared to the photos but overall was still enjoyable.
Nice hostel, location is amazing, it was quiet nevertheless. Very social and friendly staff. They also organize trips for the Ha Giang Loop, which is amazing. You can reach nearly all places by walking. Can recommend!
Great hostel in a great location! Staff is so friendly and the rooms are very nice. Not super social but great anyway!
L’hostel est bien située et l’équipe s’est montrée à l’écoute de mes besoins pour changer de chambre.
Did the Ha Giang loop through Cheers and it was excellent. Would highly recommend. Stayed one night at the hostel itself, found it to be a bit overpriced for what it was. The air conditioner/heating unit in the room was broken and it was quite cold the night we stayed. Definitely a decent location, but probably would stay somewhere else.

We had a great stay at cheers hostel, just knocked a couple of points for atmosphere as there isn’t one in the hostel however we booked our ha giang loop tour with them and it was the most incredible few days with helpful staff. The beds were very comfy and everything was clean
We stayed with the hostel for one night in a dorm after doing the ha giang loop. We were woken up at 6am by a loud family checking into the other beds in a dorm and getting ready for the day. This was really annoying and the hostel could do with implementing quiet hours to reduce noise at early hours. This family also included a toddler and small children should not be in a shared dorm. It made us uncomfortable and it's really not appropriate. We mentioned this to the front staff and they said t...

Very nice place and service.😍
it was one of the best hostels I've stayed in old quarters with all the facilities
The rooms are in relatively good condition and clean. The bathrooms look a bit old and dirty. It is located in a very central location, close to everything but in a very quiet street. I would definitely recommend it.

Great Hostel, very warm & happy staff especially Adam who took good care of us. Free coffee/tea & filtered water was great & snacks. WiFi was good, location in a great spot, lots of great cafés all around. Walking distance to the lake, Beer St & other attractions. We stayed in 6 bed dorm, good air con, comfy bed with great privacy curtains. Lots of tours available if you want but no pressure at all to book. Def stay again.
Emplacement incroyable dans le vieux quartier d'Hanoi. Auberge propre et lit confortables.
The cleanest and fanciest hostel Ive been. Very comfortable stay. Adam is such a lad too.
Loved my stay at cheers hostel. The staff were amazing. The hostel was beautiful and in a really good location. I would stay again

Alles is helemaal perfect. Het is alleen moeilijk om andere mensen te leren kennen. Dus als solo reiziger is het minder. Ze hebben wel een gemeenschappelijke ruimte maar daar zitten weinig mensen.
Only stayed here one night - after we finished the ha giang loop through Cheers. Cannot recommend the ha giang tour enough. The hostel itself was super clean, comfy beds and great for our one night
Great hostel. Not the most social as there are no real chill spots to sit and socialise with other people. The beds were comfortable, free towel, fan on the bed and unlimited free coffee.
Please book this hostel if you are wanting to do the Ha Giang loop. They are super organised and the group sizes of around 12 people is perfect. They make the trip one of the best experiences you ever have!
Loved this hostel. They are so helpful when it comes to booking tours and transport, they literally take care of it all for you. Rooms are really nice and clean. Not the most social but doing their tours is a great way to meet people!
High standards for a hostel
