Nogal ver van het centrum. Geen shuttle beschikbaar waardoor ik een 'opgesloten' gevoel kreeg. Eten middelmatig (zware roomsaus met brokken), niet goedkoop en weinig andere keuze in de buurt.Ook faciliteiten , zoals de was en de toerprijzen waren niet goedkoop. (hoorde lagere prijzen van anderen op mijn tours. Het uitzicht uit mijn kamer en de tuin waren heel mooi en het personeel was vriendelijk. De kamer was verouderd, miste verschillende stopcontacten en rook naar vocht. Op de retour.
Not far from the center. No shuttle available which made me feel 'locked in'. Food was mediocre (heavy room sauce with broken), not cheap and few other choices in the vicinity. Also facilities such as the hotel and the tour prices were not cheap. (I used to lower prices than others on my tours. The view from my room and garden were very nice and the staff was friendly. The room was outdated, lacked various sockets and rook naar vocht. On the return.
i think the rooms were clean and comfortable. it was awesome having a fan in the bunks. BUT there was a pretty big electrical fire in the room below us and there was no communication and we had no idea if it was safe to use the stairs because it was just black with smoke. the smoke alarms did not go off until the room was already filling with smoke. there was no discount, no “are you okay”, and no offer of water. i get safety standards are different but it was very scary.

nice and helpful staff breakfast was good, make eggs fresh and to your liking bathroom was clean and ensuite (sadly some mold on walls but other than than clean) beds were super comfy and also clean
Süße Privatzimmer mit guten Frühstücksbuffet. Etwas außerhalb aber zu Fuß und mit dem Roller gut machbar :)

- Harde bedden Badkamer was onder de maat , heel veel kalkvlekken en door de kalk deed de douche het niet goed Nauwelijks ruimte om iets op te hangen of neer te leggen op de kamer

+ Kreeg vlakbij andere locatie dan gevraagd om reden van stormschade . Belande zodoende en met de hulp van eigenaar eerste locatie op een andere kamer die vlakbij was. Daarom een volle 10 voor deze oplossing.

+ Après un mois déjà passé au Vietnam ce Homestay a été un coin de paradis durant 4 jours. A taille humaine, 3 chambres avec terrasses, simples mais spacieuses et confortables. A 5 minutes de la ville en scooter, et pourtant au calme, dans une impasse avec vue apaisante sur un lac et des montagnes de. Surtout c'est Phuong, cette femme d'une énergie étonnante et grande gentillesse qui lui apporte une belle humanité. Et surprise... j'y ai trouvé une cuisine variée et goûteuse, la meilleure de mon séjour. J'aime cuisiner et recevoir 😋, j'y ai pris tous mes diners et petits déjeuners Je n'avais jamais encore mis une note sur booking au Vietnam. C'est fait 🥰 Merci à Phuong et sa famille !!

After a month already spent in Vietnam this Homestay was a corner of paradise for 4 days. Human size, 3 rooms with terraces, simple but spacious and comfortable. 5 minutes from the city by scooter, and yet quiet, in a dead end with a soothing view of a lake and mountains. Most importantly it is Phuong, this woman of amazing energy and great kindness who brings her a beautiful humanity. And surprise... I found a varied and tasty cuisine, the best of my stay. only stayed one night but seemed really nice not very social but wasn't there for long beds were super comfy
Had a fantastic stay, great vibe and a peaceful setting around nature. Mr. Lee front desk was exceptionally helpful with tips and making arrangements. Definitely will return to this cat living place.

We had a lovely stay at the hostel in Cat Ba. Staff is very friendly and helpful, room has an amazing view. + very cute kittens there

Phenomenal hostel. Rooms, bathrooms and social area very clean. Staff are super helpful with everything from motorbike rental, tours as well as booking transport and accommodation for your next destination. The food is great and the social atmosphere very inviting. Would absolutely stay here again!

+ Wenn etwas den Namen Geheimtipp verdient, dann diese Unterkunft! Die Lage ist einmalig, an einem kleinen See umgeben von Bergen, und total ruhig. Ins Zentrum von Catba sind wir einmal zu Fuß gegangen, das geht schon, und es gibt auch näher schon einfache Restaurants, aber dann haben wir doch lieber Fahrräder oder Motorroller genommen, die von der Unterkunft vermietet werden. Das Doppelbett war sehr bequem und schön breit. Zum Frühstück gab es jeden Tag eine andere vietnamesische Spezialität. Aber das beste ist die Gastgeberin Phương. Sie hat uns bei allen Vorhaben toll beraten und unterstütz, und sogar für die Weiterreise noch eine Busgesellschaft in Hanoi ausfindig gemacht und kontaktiert, mit der wir zu unserem nächsten abgelegenen Homestay am Ho Thac Ba See praktisch direkt vor die Haustür kamen.
+ Unsere Gastgeberin Phương war auf jeden Fall die liebenswerteste Person, die unseren Aufenthalt perfekt gemacht hat. Danke dafür! Die Unterkunft ist einfach, aber alles da, was man braucht und es wird bestens für die Gäste gesorgt. Die Lage ist hervorragend, still und mitten in der Natur und trotzdem nicht weit vom Geschehen. Auf alle individuellen Wünsche wurde eingegangen, selbst veganes Frühstück wurde mit Liebe zubereitetet. Mehr geht nicht.
- Ein Kissen auf den Terrassenstühlen würde die Bequemlichkeit erhöhen ;-) Sonst gibt es nichts zu bemängeln.
Very clean, the breakfast was amazing! You get a free beer at 6:30-7:30. Beautiful garden area and spacious rooms. The staff were amazing, super chatter and overall lovely people. Would definitely recommend
+ J'ai adoré cet établissement tranquille entouré de montagnes et géré par une femme incroyable, énergique, serviable et si sympathique! 🥰 Bonus: Elle cuisine de fabuleux petits- déjeuners vietnamiens! 😋 Vous pourrez vous rendre dans.le centre à pied, à vélo ou à moto très rapidement. Je vous recommande cet endroit à 150%! Mille mercis Phương! 💖

Super nice Hostel with the most amazing Staff! Mr. Lee and his team really made sure we had the best possible stay on Cat Ba Island and provided us with everything and were very friendly and uncomplicated.
+ La proprietaria e la famiglia sono persone eccezionali. Super ospitale e disponibile. Cucina benissimo, tanto che sono state le due colazioni migliori avute in Vietnam. Ci ha organizzato tutti i tour, indicato i posti migliori dove mangiare e le cose da fare. L'ultimo giorno abbiamo affittato il motorino, dovevamo tornare per le 3.30 pm per prendere poi il bus, ma per un problema alle chiavi non siamo riusciti a tornare in tempo. È stata subito pronta ad aiutarci e ci ha pure rimborsato in anticipo i soldi del motorino, una volta capito che non eravamo noi tonti ma il motorino ad aver problemi. Consiglio veramente a tutti di soggiornare qui. È il mio primo commento del genere, di solito mi limito a indicare il punteggio, ma persone del genere si meritano tutto il meglio 🙌🙏
