Stay away from this hostel! Worst one in Rio. The manager is extremly passiv aggressive, doesn’t like her job, and They general don’t care about their guests, only about money. Their fridge system is completely useless, because you need to talk to them in the reception to get the food out, and they get really mad when you ask them. and there is no places in the hostel with ac in daytime. They breakfast is also ceomplete trash and not good. Would not recommend at all.
There were loads of building works going on which was noisy and spread dust all over the place. Also only a couple of rooms occupied meaning no one hanging out and having drinks. Just no vibe at all. Pool table area is so cramped it’s painful to play. Room itself, the aircon made crazy noises when on and needed replacing desperately. Staff were very lovely and friendly but that’s the only positive thing about this place. Their atm will charge you 180r to take out cash, crazy.
Had a private room and we had to put the linen on the bed ourselves. Overall not particularly clean. Hostel layout is disjointed, which makes it hard to socialise. However, location is great and is nearby lots of Botafogo’s best restaurants and bars.
The location is great and the staff was also lovely, but the hostel itself could use a renovation. The female dorm I was in was tiny and very old (the beds didn't have a lamp or a small desk to put your phone on etc). The shower doesn't have any chair or smth to put your clothes on. The kitchen was well equipped but smelled funny and didn't have a fridge (you have to ask the staff to store your stuff in a fridge in a locked room).
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. Le staff est très gentil, la cuisine est bien équipée et tout est plutôt propre dans l’ensemble. Faites juste attention à ne pas avoir le lit sous la Clim, ils ne la baissent pas ! On s’y sens en sécurité :)
We had a pleasant stay. the staff is very kind, the kitchen is well equipped and everything is pretty clean overall. just be careful not to have the bed under the clim, they don't put it down! we feel safe:)

Muito aconchegante o local, funcionários atenciosos e prestativos. Muitos banheiros, bar com bastante opção de jogos e bebidas. Uma varanda fresquinha com vista pro Cristo Redentor, muito legal. O quarto contém beliches com colchões confortáveis, eles fornecem roupa de cama limpinha e o quarto tem ar condicionado e ventilador. Tudo de bom! Só chegar e aproveitar!

L’hostel dispose d’une terrasse avec une vue imprenable sur le christ rédempteur. Un mot spécial pour le professionnalisme et la gentillesse des tenanciers de l’établissement qui offrent un service et une disponibilité de qualité.
Hostel at a very competitive price and very good location in a safe, trendy and dynamic neighborhood. hostel has a terrace with an unobstructed view of christ the redeemer. a special word for the professionalism and kindness of the tenants of the establishment who offer quality service and availability.

Première nuit de mon solo trip, première fois à Rio… et je tombe sur Bits&Bossa. Franchement ? Coup de cœur direct. Je Les chambres décorées sont clean, cosy, et les espaces communs… wow.Tout est inspiré de la culture brésilienne pour une meilleure immersion. Des jeux,une mini salle de ciné, une vue sur le Christ , de la musique, un bar avec un style rétro !Je vous conseille la caipirinha,boisson typique brésilienne , les gérants font la meilleure de tout Rio 😂
First night of my solo trip, first time in Rio... and I stumble upon Bits&Bossa. Frankly? Direct heartstroke. Je The decorated rooms are clean, cozy, and the common areas... wow.Everything is inspired by Brazilian culture for a better immersion. Games, a mini cinema, a view of Christ, music, a bar with a retro style !I recommend caipirinha, typical Brazilian drink , the managers make the best in all of Rio 😂
