+ The pool was nice
- When we arrived at the property having trekked up the long hill with our backpacks, we were ignored and then poorly treated by the lady at reception, who continued to be rude and ignorant for the remainder of our stay. Having dropped our belongings in our room, we headed to the hotel’s restaurant. The food tasted like it had been freshly fished out of a bin and despite our hunger it was barely edible. The wifi did not work for the entirety of our stay - which when we inquired about to the receptionist - were informed it was because of our phones and that she couldn’t fix it. Having brushed all of this over as we have done in other places (especially being backpackers), the mattress may has well have been a bed of bricks. After a terrible night’s sleep due to lack of comfort, we had the pleasure of a nice cold shower every morning. All in all very few positives and would not recommend this place to anyone.

May be one of the worst hostels I’ve stayed at on my travels and I don’t say that lightly. From the location to the room itself the whole experience was nothing short of awful. The room was terrible with a horrible springy mattress and once moved to a different room we had multiple cockroaches in there the entire night. I tried to get a refund from the manager but she was being uncooperative and didn’t care at all. Don’t waste your time here it was dreadful.
Seul avantage de l’Hostel : la piscine qui est très agréable. Très loin du centre : 30 minutes en Grab scooter. Chambres salles : draps non changés Des cafards partout dans la résidence. Lit pas très confortable et pas de rideaux pour un peu d’intimité. La structure des lits est en mauvais état des que quelqu’un bouge, tout le monde le sens !
The only advantage of lHostel : the swimming pool which is very nice. Very far from the center : 30 minutes by Grab scooter. Rooms rooms : unchanged sheets Cockroaches everywhere in the residence. Bed not very comfortable and no curtains for some privacy. The bed structure is in bad condition since someone moves, everyone the sense !
worse hostel iv been to so far can’t even bring a water to the pool they yelled at us to buy water from them. no one was even at this hostel 0 people it was sad. the rooms are very hot and dirty when i checked in the beds were not even cleaned lol never going back there
A very bizarre feel to the place. Felt very much like a ghost town despite this app saying there was a lot of people booked in.
De plek heeft zeker potentie, maar er word sinds de grotere organisatie eruit is niets meer mee gedaan. Het is zeer sfeerloos en het personeel is niet vriendelijk of meedenkend. Ook zijn de prijzen veel te hoog als je kijkt naar de uitstraling van de plek.
The place certainly has potential, but word is that since the larger organization it is no longer used. it is very unattractive and the staff is not friendly or considerate. also the prices are much too high if you look at the look of the place.
Hostel lives up to its name. It’s up a giant hill. Which is not a fun walk with a heavy bag pack. Normally I don’t mind but the hostel is not worth the walk. Very fun down. Bad atmosphere. Rooms were dingy and the bedding was questionable.

pool is great and location is walking distance to beach and a few shops and restaurants but rooms are basic, without hand soap in the toilets a cockroach in the bathroom. The price does reflect hiw basic the hotel is but its easy to book excursions and onward travel
Me and my 4 mates had a family room with sea view it was class. Sea view aswell. Pools are gorgeous and we had a great time chilling here. Nothing going on socially though, and the walk up the hill to the hostel is a killer… so keep that in mind!
+ Still retains the fading rays of glory it once had from 10 years back, but it's certainly time for a reset in some areas that have fallen into complacency. Basically, has all the makings of a "grand hostel", just needs some renewed xoxopassion. I kid you not, this place used to always be rocking and it definitely can make it back to that level.
- Breakfast and coffee selection needs an overhaul. Management seems minimally adequate, but staffing was... rough. Overall guest access gets cut off at 10PM, allocating you only to your room or reception.
Ich und zwei Freunde haben in diesem Hostel zwei Nächte verbracht. Die Zimmer sind ok. Wir wissen nicht was los war, aber das Hostel war wie ausgestorben. Es gab außer uns noch zwei andere Gäste, aber dafür ist es riesig. Das Personal war leider unfreundlich und generell ist es total runtergekommen. Sozial war das Hostel auf Grund der fehlenden Gäste leider nicht :(
Me and two friends spent two nights in this hostel. The rooms are okay. We don't know what was going on, but the hostel was kind of extinct. There were two other guests besides us, but it's huge. The staff was unfortunately unfriendly and in general it totally went down. Social was the hostel due to the missing guests unfortunately not: ((

+ Nive rooms although the sea view room also looked out to a patch of land strewn with rubbish
- Taxis don't drive up the hill and even after calling for help with luggage no help arrived. The view is beautiful although they need to clear the area with rubbish, which can also be seen from a sea view balcony. The swimming pool water was very dirty and makes your skin and hair smell of mildew, although the area itself around the pool is lovely. Rooms are good size and the cleaning is everyday but not at all thorough. They charge for bottles of water which is something I haven't seen in Vietnam before. The staff are friendly but could be more helpful with luggage etc...
+ Great outdoor facilities, nice to relax and swim. Play some pool etc. Good vibes and lovely staff. Room was large and pleasant. Comfy bed.
- A couple times hotel lost power due to mui ne unstable power grid. These were normally short and only happen twice out of our 6 days of staying at this hotel.

+ The pool area (the only part that was clean!)
- We were moved to a different room after finding a big shedding of foot skin on the bed sheets (clearly hadn’t been changed). The staff were unapologetic! The ‘upgraded’ room was bigger but even though sheets were clean, there was scum in the shower drain, pubic hair on the bedroom floor and cup stains on the balcony. The hotel despite not being clean is shabby (electrical wires hanging, outdated sockets, loose curtains) and outdated. The company own Mui Ne backpackers/villas/hostel/hotel so don’t be deceived when booking.

+ Great location. Great views. Really nice pool and outside area. Generally just a relaxed vibe and good value. Staff are all so nice and helpful. Always smiling! The alley way it’s been on has some great local food options.
- Nothing bad to mention. For the price it’s a great spot.
It's cheap for a reason
+ Hotel was empty
- The reception staff were not friendly. The hotel is located uphill, at the end of a road
+ Hotel bien situé dans le centre mais avec accès un peu sportif (2 côtes assez raides à monter. Ne convient pas aux personnes âgées ou handicapées). Les deux piscines bien équipées de transats et parasols.
- L’offre restreinte du petit déjeuner. L’entrée principale est laide et en plus encore des marches à monter.
+ Absolutely everything! The pools are fabulous, cleaned regularly with plenty of comfy seating available to relax in. Our room was awesome, incredible sea view, to with three film channels, rooms cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedsheets if you ask. Hotel is up a bit of a hill, but the restaurants on the way down to the Main Street are insanely good, excellent value and ridiculously tasty! Fresh fruit also readily available all the way down…
- The poolside bar/ cafe in the hotel is very, very overpriced, which is a shame, as the ladies who run it are pure class.
+ Really nice pool. Great balcony. Sheltered from the noise of main road. Quiet hotel. The location is in the 69 alley which has more local authentic restaurants and markets. Laundry right across from the hotel. Drop off for like 20k per kilo
