- A raíz de una consulta que realicé sobre el check in horas antes de llegar, me informaron que no habían registrado mi reserva, a pesar de que la misma fue realizada con un mes de antelación y confirmada por ellos mismos. No solo no se disculparon por la situación que me hizo perder tiempo y dinero, tampoco me ayudaron a buscar una solución para mi arribo. Me pidieron que cancele la reserva y debí buscar en pleno vuelo, otro alojamiento a un precio mayor y con menos comodidades que las originalmente reservadas. Tal vez se trate de un caso excepcional, (es la primera vez que me sucede a mi), pero su manera de tratar el asunto, dejó mucho que desear.

- Las habitaciones individuales no son habitaciones de la casa. Son pequeños bloques construidos en el jardín, sin ventilación y con un fuerte olor a moho y humedad. Tengo alergias, y al percibir el fuerte olor pedí que me cambiaran de habitación, pero solo me la cambiarían si pagaba más. Pasé una noche horrible.
+ こちらで2泊しましたが私は不運でした。部屋が入口の隣（No.1）だったため、夜中にチェックインするゲストが来るたびに、起こされました。ベルが鳴るのは仕方ありませんが、深夜の受付時にスタッフが大きな声で案内するのはいかがなものでしょうか？「少し静かにしてほしい」と夜中に何度もお願いし、翌日、部屋を代えてほしいとお願いしましたが無理でした。2泊の滞在中に深夜1時、2時、朝6時頃にはチェックアウトをするゲストとおしゃべりをしている声で眠ることができませんでした。それに対して詫びることもなく、かなり横柄な対応だったため、新たなホステルを探しました。しかし、ホステルを変えたことで、私はかなりの時間とお金を無駄にしました。 滞在中のゲストに対してのリスペクトが感じられず、リマでの最悪な経験になりました。

- literal nos echaron el 22 de noviembre cuando yo reservé hasta el 23, no se porque en booking cambiaron las fechas si yo pagué del 16 al 23 por qué el 22 era mi cumpleaños y no quería estar mudándome ese día, yo tenía un vuelo a Cusco el 23 temprano, me arruinaron el cumpleaños y recién hago la queja porque no quería pensar en ese mal momento que me hicieron pasar a mi y a mi amiga. Tengo fotos de la reserva que eran hasta el 23 de noviembre

+ The location is good. I like that it has a nice inner court and seating area which is great for breakfast.
- The property misrepresents the pictures on the website which don't match the actual room. They also ask you to pay in full at the check-in without seeing the room.
- They were by supposed to pick me up from the airport and reassured me that the agent will be checking my flight etc and that if anything happends I could reach them via a number they gave me. However, when I arrived at Lima Airport at 23:00 at night there was nobody to pick me up, they did not pick up the phone, did not respond via booking mail or WhatsApp. So I was left stranded in lima airport which is not a nice place to be at night. Once I managed to make It to the hostel by my self, the guy at the front desk, was oblivious, and this point I was too tired to care. Then when I wanted to pay, they didn't have enough cash for the change. After that I did not hear anything anymore about why there was nobody nor did I get any kind of apology or refund or whatever. Terrible experience dont go here. Also my room looked more like a prison cell then anything else.

+ The location is great and the staff very friendly.
- I have always enjoyed staying at Casa Roma Hostels and have appreciated its calm and welcoming atmosphere. However, the recent addition of the six-bed dorm has noticeably changed the character of the place. It no longer feels like the quiet, small hotel it once was. With more guests and too few bathrooms, cleanliness has become an issue—the bathrooms are often dirty and do not seem to be cleaned frequently enough.

+ El lugar me pareció súper lindo y muy bien cuidado. Las zonas comunes estaban siempre limpias y agradables, y el baño del patio es perfecto porque mantiene muy bien la privacidad, lo cual realmente se valora. Además, el personal hizo la experiencia aún mejor: los de la recepción y las chicas del desayuno fueron muy amables y queridas, siempre con buena actitud y dispuestos a ayudar, lo que le da un ambiente muy acogedor al lugar.
- Como detalle a mejorar, el orden dentro de la habitación podría cuidarse un poco más entre los huéspedes. En mi caso, había una persona que tenía su maleta completamente desorganizada, con ropa regada y algo de mal olor, y en un momento el espacio para guardar mi maleta estaba ocupado, lo que resultó un poco incómodo. Sin embargo, en general la experiencia fue muy positiva.

- El desayuno no era de primera, era básico y el café para todos se acabó a las 8:45…. Alcancé a tomar media taza. Pero me hubiera quedado otra noche si quedaban habitaciones, pero no quedaban.
+ Banheiros limpos e água quente. Ambiente muito gostoso, com uma área verde sensacional.
- O atendimento deixou a desejar muito. Como eu iria sair mais cedo, antes do café da manhã, pedi que deixassem eu cozinhar um ovo. Só isso. Um simples ovo. Para não sair sem comer nada. Não daria tempo para eu ir até uma padaria. Mas isso foi negado. Uma coisa tão simples! Em alguns hostels oferecem até um lanche para quem tem que sair antes do café da manhã. São esses detalhes que diferenciam a excelência do trivial.
