+ They have a kitchen you can use, and a water filter to fill up your water bottle for free. ONLY the lower bunk beds have mosquito nets. The upper bunk beds have nothing.

- Check in was a nightmare when I arrived at the hostel. There was no receptionist and if one of the guests hadn't been inside I would've been stuck outside waiting for who knows how long! The only way to check in is by calling this phone number on the door and waiting for someone to come. If you don't have a working SIM card, this is a big problem!!! There is NO AIR CON at this hostel and it gets very hot inside! Each bed has it's own mini fan, but it's not enough because the ceiling is made of metal boards and so it traps all the heat inside the building. This hostel used to be a warehouse or workshop. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable and with no curtains, there was no privacy from other guests. The tiny locker that you can use is attached to the back wall behind the bed and the electric socket is INSIDE the locker, which means you cannot close it while charging your phone! And the lid comes all the way down to your bed, making it easy to bump your head while you sleep. This entire hostel is just one big space, that means the bunk beds, the common area, the kitchen, and the bathrooms are all connected, there is no division or separation. So at night if you want to sleep but the lights are on in the common room, there is nothing you can do. Everything is open and exposed. The light, the noise, there is no way to keep it out because there is no separate room for the bunk beds. There is never any staff at this hostel. They only come to check you in, and then they leave. If you need any help, you're on your own. Very limited options for eating and drinking in this area. Sometimes your best bet is to buy something from 7-Eleven. Since this is the only hostel in Kuah, your only other option is to stay at a hotel unfortunately. There is also a temple just across the street from the hostel that bangs on drums, bells, and other instruments, waking you up at the crack of dawn every morning...

- Pequeno e cheio de regras, parece uma garagem adaptada para ser um hostel. Não possui locker então tem que confiar que suas coisas vão estar lá quando chegar.

- It's not a hostel but a large room with four bunk beds. There are no accessible common areas, just two tables. The refrigerator was dirty and full of stuff even though the hostel was empty.

+ It was good basic lodging. No A/C but plenty of fans. washrooms were clean. The owners were great and were more than helpful This is not a luxury location, and is not in the party region of Langkawi. They will also rent you a scooter if you have the proper credentials

+ This is a self check-in dorm with the whole accommodation in one big hall-room. Totally ideal for backpackers though it can look very intimidating on arrival. All the facilities are well thought through for sharing and very suited for backpackers. Definitely not for holiday makers! After the initial shock of it appearing very basic it was an extremely enjoyable and comfortable hostel.

+ Nice hostel in Kuah, notice the area is not so touristy! But not hostel fault. Went there just for 1 night to be closer Ferry, Walk 50 min! Narrow stairs, no shoes. God with code on the door, no keys! Wierd hostel area, I think it was a girl room and boy room! Shower in the same room as toilet! Would say very hot during night and alot of sound from the mainroad. There are a big cooler, but window open you can’t close! Mosquito net if you want, quite bad curtain situation. I think it was a small kitchen area with fridge! Staff nice the short talk we had. Just small lock for your most important stuff, the rest under the bed or something. Fan right over you and lamp.

+ 好久没有住过蚊帐了，还是蓝色的。特别特别多的电风扇，入住的门比较难找，是在两个店中间。老板很用心的改造了很多东西。睡得非常好。

+ Ich habe einige Zeit hier verbracht. Die Unterkunft befindet sich direkt über einer Motorrad Werkstatt. Sie hat wirklich ein ganz besonderes Flair. Es war alles vorhanden, was man als Backpacker braucht. Eine gemütliche Sitzecke, Küchenbereich mit Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher, Kühlschrank. Jedes Bett hatte ein eigenes Moskitonetz. Der Gastgeber ist sehr fleißig und aufmerksam. Es wurde täglich gründlich gereinigt. Motorroller und Fahrräder kann man mieten. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Ich kann einen Aufenthalt empfehlen.

+ The owners son who is running the hostel is a gem. Very nice and informative. The family travels a lot themselves and you can feel it in the way they run the hostel/guesthouse.

+ The dorm have a strict rules about cleanliness and noise. Moh makes sure that these rules and followed by the guests. As a result, everyone is very respectful towards each other. I stayed there for 5nights with other guys that I don't know and nothing bothers me. The shared bathroom is always dry and clean as well as the dining/working table. By 11pm, the lights are off and everyone that are still awake and moves makes minimal noise. The place is well ventilated also that I don't have to use blanket at night. Bonus, every bunk beds are equipped with mosquito net and blinds.
