Roof House Hostel

The bunk beds are horrible, if you are on the top bunk you will hurt your feet getting up, shower is horrible, felt cleaner not showering ( toilet and shower is on top of the shower we left earlier and booked another place we couldn’t take it

Arrived at 1am due to plane and rented car delays. I expected this to be fine as it's a hostel and does not give a latest check in time. Even so, I whatsapped/ emailed at 10 to say we'd arrive late and apologized. Waited for half an hour to be let in and (Braham?) Was moody and angry. The toilet/shower is disgusting, painted in black, no windows and has bugs. Big sign by reception says WE DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS and they take all money up front. Go figure. Left two nights early. Do not stay here.

clean, nice beds, and a great terrace. however wasn't much of a atmosphere there, seemed like more of a digital nomad vibe. although perhaps i caught it on an off week. also a bit expensive compared to other hostels.

I went to this hostel because it was weekend and I thought it would be a good opportunity to meet people. I booked the 4 beds female room and my bed was in front of the bathroom that is only accessible to these bedroom guests. Terrible experience, it smelled like sewage and rotten. The whole room was smelling like that and the whole night I had this really bad smell. Even after I closed the bathroom door, it continued. Maybe the other rooms are better, but I don't recommend this specific room.

Staff was helpful and the location was great, but the private room is right next to the reception and front entrance so there's a lot of noise and doesn't feel very private. Shared bathroom was also small and not the cleanest. Overall not a super negative experience but if you're looking for a cozy private room this is probably not the best option.

Stayed here for one night. Dorm was really crowded with 3 bunkbeds + bagage. There were not enough showers and toilets and the combination toilet in a shower wasn’t the best option for a nice smell. Girl at the reception was really friendly and the rooftop was really nice.

The private room in the hostel was cute but the bed was completely inadequate. moreover, it is in a neighbourhood full of little kids, who apparently who do not sleep. it was constantly loud and we could not sleep. we unfortunately could not stay the full extent of the stay due to these issues. we stayed 1 night out of 3 paid nights. on a more positive note, it seems to be a very social hostel. i am sure as a solo traveller, i would have enjoyed it much more in the dorms.

Leider alles sehr dunkel und chaotisch. Unser Zimmer war sehr klein und das Personal war auch nicht sehr freundlich. Haben uns nicht wohl gefühlt und das Hostel nach kurzer Zeit wieder verlassen. Zu teuer für das was es ist.

This was a wonderful hostel experience. Such a welcoming team in Mohamed, Mohamed and Khalid who shared their warmth, kindness, conversation and creativity . Comfortable beds, use of a great kitchen with a water filter (so no drinking plastic bottled water), plenty of bathrooms and lovely terrace spaces. My friend enjoyed her surfing tuition from Ahmed and the hostel equipment hire. A place I would definitely return.

Uno degli ostelli più belli in cui io sia mai stato , l atmosfera è fantastica , grazie anche a Mohamed e Simo due ragazzi straordinari e super disponibili e che tengono molto a far sentire a proprio agio l ospite . L'ostello ha anche una terrazza e una sala comune fantastica dove è semplice conoscere gente nuova. Consiglio anche di prenotare le lezioni di surf tramite l ostello , Ali è un ottimo istruttore e mi ha aiutato con la mia prima esperienza nel surf. Grazie mille ragazzi ci torn...

Erg leuk hostel midden in Taghzout! Je loopt zo het drukke gedeelte in en naar het strand. Erg sociaal hostel door de rooftop waar iedereen chillt en de activiteiten die ze aanbieden. Niet het schoonste hostel maar de sfeer van het hostel maakt dat helemaal goed.

Met some amazing people here and a great location. Staff was very helpful and felt very safe and welcoming

Definitely Best hostel i’ve stayed in the staff were amazing and i couldn’t have asked for a better stay definitely recommend staying in this hostel out of all of them in taghazout perfect for solo travelling very social and met amazing people there

Really enjoyed my stay here!! The female dorm was great, comfortable beds and a private bathroom. The terrass was very pretty and location was also very good! Our host Mohmad was so nice and made everyone feel welcomed and appreciated. Only downside was the lac of internet in the rooms and the price that was a little more on the expensive side, considering there was no breakfast included. But overall I am very happy with Roofhouse Hostel! Would absolutely recommend and come back there 😁

Lovely little down to earth hostel in a good location (walking distance from everything but quiet enough), standqrd rooms, super friendly and helpful staff, lots of social activities to join, and an overall chill vibe. Special shoutouts to Mohamed for helping me sort out my bus to Marrakesh and Khalid for a delicious veggie barbecue! I hope to be back and recommend it :)

had a really great time 🥰 the hostel is very social and organises many group activities! The rooftop is very pretty. I stayed in the female dorm and felt very comfortable at all times. Met some really nice people 😊🫰🏻and also everyone that works at the hostel is super friendly and helpful! Had a Great time

Best hostel in Taghazout!!!!!

The hostel staff was incredibly welcoming and warm, always ready to help out with anything. The common areas were a total highlight, making it super easy to meet great people. You can rent surfboards directly at the hostel and walk to the beach in just a few minutes. Plus, the beds were well-equipped and even had curtains for privacy.

I had the best week at this hostel! I will definitely be back, I made some friends for life here. The hostel workers Khalid, Ismail & Mohamed were very helpful & generous and made the hostel feel like a home away from home. Also the beds were sooo comfy & the rooftop is very relaxing

I loved my stay here! The location is amazing, very close to the beach, the roof top is the best place ever and it’s so easy to meet other people there! It was a very social hostel, the staff really helped to create a this atmosphere by offering groups dinners (which were really really good!). Special thanks to Khalid for all the teas and help! I highly recommend going to this hostel:))

Really well located and lots of great travellers with opportunities to meet at nightly family dinners. No lock on the girls dorm and the door didn’t even close… kind of defeats the purpose of picking an all girls dorm if the door doesn’t even lock let alone close

Loved my stay here! Easily one of the most social hostels in taghazout - such a great vibe and so easy to meet people. family dinners were a highlight, and Khalid’s food is truly unmatched!! Comfortable beds, perfect location close to town and beach, and a nice terrace to chill. Highly recommend!

Honestly the best Hostel in Taghazout, and I've been to a few. Mo is such a friendly and caring host. The overall atmosphere was very communal and social, I made lots of friends in my 10 day stay. Strongly recommend!

In my opinion, this is the best hostel in Taghazout. It is usually fully booked, so you need to reserve in advance.
