+ Je n’ai même pas pus rentrer à l’intérieur et personne me répondais . Les instructions sur la porte ne fonctionnait pas .
- J’étais initialement satisfait à mon arrivée, un sac contenant une literie et une serviette m’a été remis. Je l’ai utilisé normalement et l’ai laissé à ma place, comme demandé. Mais à mon retour, le sac avait disparu sans aucune explication. Ce sentiment d’insécurité m’a tellement mis mal à l’aise que je n’ai même pas passé ma dernière nuit, pourtant déjà payée. Le pire, c’est qu’au moment du départ, on m’a demandé de payer 40$ (hors taxes) pour le sac disparu, alors que je n’en suis en aucun cas responsable. Je n’ai rien emporté, je n’ai quitté l’auberge que normalement, et pourtant on m’a tenu pour responsable d’une perte que je n’ai pas causée. Aucune vérification réelle n’a été faite (caméras, ménage, autres clients…), et j’ai eu le sentiment qu’on ne me croyait pas du tout. C’est une énorme déception, et je trouve cette manière de traiter les clients injuste et peu professionnelle. Je ne reviendrai pas, et je ne recommande pas cet établissement. — Youssef S.

l’hostel est vraiment propre et cool mais il n’y a pas l’ambiance hostel selon moi c’est trop vaste pour que les gens se parlent
Une auberge de jeunesse immense mais très propre ! J'ai dormi dans le dortoir de 12 réservé aux femmes, c'est divisé en petites sections, c'est agréable, de plus chaque lit à un rideau, idéal pour l'intimité ! Grands espaces communs disponibles à plusieurs endroits de l'auberge.
The facility was brilliant with modern amenities and private bunks with internal shelve lighting and power sources. The rooftop hot tubs were ok but could use some repair upgrades for maximum pleasure. The staff was extraordinary! Anai made us feel welcome and made our wishes for lower bunks come true. Ian was full of ideas on things to do and places to go (although his description of the steep hills and large mountains of Montreal was out of context with “real” hills and mountains 😉😉�...
hostel staff was great! very clean and lots of puclic space and utilities! location was a little sketch at night but nothing major. good security tho.

Karaoke night can be more as advertised. I suggest putting a short list on the bar of a couple of cocktails that the bartender can do. I would like to suggest an « Open Mic » night. « Micro ouvert » for us travelling musicians
One of the nicest (city) hostels I have ever stayed in. The 8 bed dorm is laid out in a way that almost makes it feel like a private room (excellent curtains on the bed, robust bed frames that don't shake or rattle, and a room layout that means privacy is easy to find). The facilities are all spotless, there's plenty of space to get work done and relax, and the staff are super helpful.

Le quartier est ok, beaucoup d'itinérance. Simplement faire attention en sortant seule le soir. À 3 min de la station Berri-UQAM, ce qui est super! L'hostel est génial, les chambres et espaces communs sont biens. J'aurais aimé une ambiance plus sociale. Par exemple, à la soirée pasta, les pâtes n'étaient pas prêtes en même temps pour tous donc personne ne mangeait en même temps et chacun dans son coin.
The neighborhood is ok, lots of roaming. Just be careful when going out alone at night. 3 minutes from Berri-UQAM station, which is great! the hostel is great, the rooms and common areas are nice. I would have liked a more social atmosphere. for example, at the pasta party, the pasta wasn't ready at the same time for everyone so no one ate at the same time and everyone in their corner.
top de A à Z a quelques minutes du centre ville à pied, le métro a vraiment 5 minutes max 1 pied, des soirées à l auberge tous les soirs, personnel au top, un seul ik mais c est pas de la faute de l auberge, dans mon dortoir il y en avait qui restaient et dormaient du matin au soir donc fallait toujours être discret 🤣 mais autrement vraiment top
from A to Z just a few minutes from the city center on foot, the metro is really 5 minutes max 1 foot, evenings at the hostel every night, staff at the top, only one ik but it's not the fault of the hostel, in my dorm there were some who stayed and slept from morning to evening so you always had to be discreet 🤣 but otherwise really top
Great hostel. Location central, in between all the different areas I wanted to visit, so it was never hard getting anywhere. The specific neighborhood is a little run down, but still safe. I visited during the low season, so there weren’t many people, and the vibe was nonexistent. Their common area is in a different building, which I never went to, and it was too cold to use their jacuzzi. Their breakfast is cheap, but the bare minimum. My room was very clean, and the bathroom was a good size....
LOVED this place. First hostel and I had an open mind but it was amazing!! Thank you again!

- I booked this place for a one night stay three months ahead of time. I called the hotel right after I booked and asked about parking. I was told that the hotel provide the parking and the only thing I need to do is to pay for the parking the day that I check in. However, upon our arrival we were told that the parking is full and they don't provide the parking. The assistant said I should have booked the parking ahead of time. After that, they wrote an address for us to park in Indigo near the hotel. The indigo parking was full also. So we had to park in street and move our car multiple times to avoid getting ticket. It was a very frustrating experience. Also, they don't have card to carry your luggages to your room, so we had to carry everything by hand. It is good to mention that they don't offer hairdryer in unit. Also, the balcony was locked by manager. So, we weren't allowed to use it. We couldn't use the Snooker also, as it was closed. We had a very bad experience with our friends in this place. I don't know why this place has a high rating.

+ Cisto! Absolutni soukromy na hostel. Uzasny! Na strese dve vyrivky byly skvele v tomto pocasi! Nemohu si na nic stezovat! Urcite bych prijel znova! Byl jsem tady 7 dni a bylo to skvele! Do Montrealu se urcite v lete vratim a urcite opet zvolim stejne ubytovani. Skvela recepce, zadny problem s vymenou rucniku. Zadny problem v posledni den si uschovat velky batoh na par hodin pred odletem. Kuchyn prostorna, skvela, cista! Byl jsem opravdu nadseny. Prvni hostel, kde jsem si mohl uzit spolecne mistnosti- opet cistota na prvnim miste!!!! A nesmim zapomenout na umisteni. Cely tyden jsem fungoval pesky. (Downtown, Bell Centr, Royal Park…) vse dostupne pesky od Hostelu). Totototo se povedlo!
- Mozna jenom trosku slabsi snidane, ale a tou jsem na zacatku vubec nepocital, cili tady jsem s tim okay.

During my entire stay there was over 60 elementary school kids . The whole thing felt awkward and uncomfortable.The school trip basically took over the kitchen for my entire stay (5 days). Teachers preparing three meals in masses. Children stomping and screaming from 7 am in the morning. I ended intentionally leaving at 7 am and coming after 11pm to escape the chaos. Terrible experience.
