Captain Coconuts Gili Air

The cleanliness of the dormitory part and the showers zero unacceptable. I had the misfortune to drop an object under the bed and I could see piles of dust and dirt, The place seems never to have been cleaned. In addition, there are 2 menus for breakfast: -one with a choice limited to a coffee mixed with a spoon -one with a much more extensive offer. Well, you can imagine that if you are in a dormitory, you will only have the right to the first option while we pay more individually !

Very beautiful place, but the dorms and the installations for the dorms are not confortable at all. Termites eggs in my locker, you will be woken up by sun or heat. Calm and familial place. In my opinion not worth the money

The room conditions are not great - out in the open, hanging beds, a lot of light in the morning and mosquitos. The rest of the hostel is quite nice, the pool area and the breakfast is good

It’s super quiey, friendly and clean. The location is great. The only thing is that I don't think a hammock in a dorm is worth that money when you can pay the same amount for a private room in the accommodation next door. Anyways, we're paying that for the experience. Still, I liked it and I recommend it. :)

Captain Coconuts is a beautiful hostel with an amazing pool. The swinging beds are an experience but nice and well kept. The private rooms are also lovely but the Aircon was weak. I got extremely unwell (not the hostels fault) and they immediately moved me to a private room without a fuss. Location was a bit difficult to locate but that's me being extremely picky.

Nice enough, I didn’t realise that it was half hostel half hotel though lol so it’s like a strange split between family vacations and backpackers- it’s not a bad thing I just wish I’d known before. Not the most social, partly due to the hotel/hostel arrangement but everyone was pretty friendly and the staff were nice.

Moving beds sounds nice but if it stops abruptly by opening storage doors eg is kind of annoying...

I had a wonderful time at this amazing place. The stuff is so friendly and helpful, the hostel has a nice atmosphere and it s easy to meet other travelers Make sure that you are fine with a swinging bed amd not allergic to cats if you stay in the dorm Enough space for your backpack and with the curtains you ve got your privacy Every bed has its own fan Very nice poolarea and delicious food and smoothies The crew is really wonderful

Be aware that the dorm beds are hanging from the ceiling!! so every movement will make the bed move. I liked the hostel but the beds made me a bit seasick 😂 The restaurant food is also really nice

I liked CC’s a lot. The place is beautiful, the breakfast was amazing, the pool is incredible and it’s really the perfect place to chill on Gili Air. However, I think if I had slept well it would get a higher rating from me, the beds are comfortable, it’s just loud and bright!

loved the vibe. if you dont want to sleep in hanging beds they can put it down on the ground for you. staff was very nice and always helpful. yummy breakfast with options, nice pool area.

Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De bedden waren schoon en werden dagelijks opgemaakt, er was opslagruimte voor je spullen en de badkamers werden dagelijks schoongemaakt. Wij hebben een wegdoen verblijf gehad hier!

Perfect Hostel!

Wonderful play to stay as a solo traveler. Did not get used to the flying beds, and I wish they had another options, but otherwise top property. Great staff, food and facilities!

the beds and rooms are certainly an experience, it's good value for money but the heat is inescapable, at night you can use a fan above the bed. I liked the rooms and the lockers were big enough to store belongings but you must bring a lock. the vibe was quiet and it was in an out of the way location but not too far from the beach and the port is a 15 minute walk. the food here is very healthy but the included breakfast was limited. the toilets were okay however could be cleaned more often

Das Hostel ist traumhaft schön! An die hängenden Betten muss man sich gewöhnen, aber nach einer Nacht hatte ich damit keine Probleme mehr und konnte gut schlafen. Betten sind gemütlich und AC für jedes Bett verfügbar. Ich komme gerne wieder!

was really beautiful, like a isolate place, really calm, the bed are floating in the air, so it's kinda funny and original, the breakfast are really good, and all the other dishes are really good too, near from anything by foot maximum 20 minutes, if you want to make good and chill memory go there !

Absolute paradise! It was so gorgeous with such friendly and smiley people working there. I will be back!

My favourite hostel in Indonesia- stunning pool area and lovely staff, shoutout to Eddie who was so smiley and friendly. Really enjoyed the hanging beds too but be prepared for them

Good spot. The breakfast hours don’t start early enough, and I found to food not to be very good but still pricey. Bungalows are quite nice

Beautiful Place to be! Loved the hanging beds and the calm vibe around. Breakfast is amazing & stuff is very friendly :) (you Just Need good earplugs because of the mosque nearby)

I loved my stay in Captain Coconuts definitely my favourite hostel I’ve stayed in !! The staff are all so lovely and the atmosphere in the hostel is so laid back and lovely ! Also the breakfast is so yummy would stay longer if I could !

Wirklich schöne Unterkunft mit sehr netten Mitarbeitenden. Die hängenden Betten haben einen tollen Vibe und man ist super schnell am Strand um den Sonnenuntergang zu sehen.

wunderbares Hostel! So besonders, ich hab es geliebt und meinen Aufenthalt dann noch verlängert. Vielleicht war das Frühstück bisschen klein, aber es hat super geschmeckt

es war so schön, ich hätte verlängert wenn ich die Zeit gehabt hätte ich hab mich so wohl gefühlt und man hat genug privatsphäre es ist ein chilliger vibe aber man kann trotzdem andere leicht kennenlernen werde zurückkommen!
