Horrible neighbourhood, full of junks, with a risk of car burglaries which the receptionist kindly warned me for. The hostel had a distinct, unpleasant smell as soon as I entered the lobby, and it was noisy too. Decided to go somewhere else within a few minutes because this place was not good. The receptionist assured me that I could get a refund as I had only booked the same morning and it's no big deal, but now the hostel is refusing me this money. Zimmer überaltert (Dreckige Fenster, nicht zu öffnen, kaputte Leisten, Löcher Wänden). Rezeption hoffnungslos unterbesetzt, sodass sie regelmäßig unbesetzt ist, sobald sich jemand um etwas anderes kümmern muss, was ständig der Fall ist. Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und fähig, wären in einem Hostel mit höherem Standard besser aufgehoben. Standort zwischen Bahnhof, Obdachlosen, Junkies und großen Straßen. Laut laut laut!! Wir haben die Buchung verfallen lassen, also gar nicht erst hier...
Zimmer überaltert (Dirty Window, not to open, broken Leisten, Löcher Wände). Reception hoffnungslos underbesetzt, so that it is regularly unoccupied, as soon as somebody has to take care of something else, which is constantly the case. Staff were very neat and capable, would be better kept in a hostel with a higher Standard. Located between the train station, Homeless, Junkies and main streets. Sea loud!! we have made the Booking fall, so not even overnight here.
Friendly staff, but they did not solve the problems. The facilities are worn down, USB hubs in the beds doesn’t work, tried to change room, but in the two other rooms I looked at, they didn’t work either. Shower changes from cold to extremely hot while you shower. Rooms are worn down and beds, sheets etc. have weird looking spots in different colours.

No Safes or closet for personal stuff. I had to give my valuable stuff to the reception in order to keep them safe. Tge room is directly on the street and it's too laud and noise because of the traffic on street. Also the famous Germany hospitality is not to avoid. If I had to go back to Bremen I definitely won't stay there.

Dreckige Lobby, Flure und Zimmer. Wir haben uns schlichtweg nicht wohl und sicher gefühlt und sind früher abgereist.

Für den Preis bietet das Hostel nicht besonders viel. Die anderen Gäste waren zum Teil ziemlich unangenehm und respektlos.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt gut ereignet. Preis, Leistung in Ordnung. Gute Lage, freundliches Personal. Leider keine funktionierende Steckdose und Licht am Bett. Küche absolut ungenügend, eine Herdplatte für alle? Ein Topf, ein Teller und zwei Schüsseln? Sehr fragwürdig. Als Gruppe oder Familie ist es hier aufjedenfall gut geeignet eine preislich gute Unterkunft zu haben. Sozial als Alleinreisende ist es weniger geeignet.
For a short stay, good ereignet. Price, service in Ordnung. Good location, friendly staff. Unfortunately no functioning Sockdose and Light am Bett. Kitchen absolutely insufficient, eine Herdplatte für alle? Ein Topf, ein Teller und zwei Schüsseln? Very questionable. As a Group or Family it is here on every occasion good to have a reasonably good accommodation. Sozial als Alleinreisende is it less suitable.
Overall a good experience with a few deficits in cleanliness and atmosphere. But very good value for the money!
Sound good
A lot of long term residents using the hostel as a home more rather than a hostel. Bathrooms were not very clean in the rooms so did end up using the lobby ones more often. No real events on, situated in a decent walk from the main city center.
I had an excellent stay in a & o. The quality is high for a cheaper price. Only limitation is that the guest kitchen facilities are a bit limited, however is not an issue considering the lower price they offer. I would highly recommend a & o for the stay.
O único hostel da rede A&O em que valeu a pena ficar hospedada. Sempre tive problemas em dormir nos hostels da rede, mas esse em específico era bastante limpo, com ótimo atendimento e organizado. Voltaria outras vezes.
I've always had trouble sleeping in the network hostels, but this one in particular was pretty clean, with great service and organized.
The room was very dirty because of the other three people in the room. The hair dryer was not working.
Personnel d'accueil absent lors de l'arrivée, au du attendre. Pas de casiers dans les chambres, j'ai dormi avec mon gros sac dans mon lit. Dortoir très petit et peu d'intimité vu l'agencement. Rideaux pas très utiles, et l'insonorisation pas bien (route dehors, grincement des gens de l'étage du dessus et porte du dortoir qui claque) Dans la chambre avec 4 dames de 40 ans et +, certaines étant visiblement SDF. Une a téléphoné dans le dortoir, une autre a pris un petit déjeuner odorant...
Reception staff absent on arrival, or waiting. No lockers in the rooms, I slept with my big bag in my bed. Dormitory very small and little privacy given the layout. Curtains not very useful, and soundproofing not good (way out, grinding of gens from upstairs and bedroom door slamming) In the room with 4 ladies 40+ years old, some being visibly SDF. One phoned in the dorm, another had an early smelling breakfast.

Am Bett sollte ein Strom- und nicht nur USB-, sondern auch Micro-USB-Anschluss im Jahre 2025 selbstverständlich sein. Ansonsten war bei meinem kurzen Aufenthalt Alles bestens.
Am Bett should be a Power and not only USB, but also Micro-USB-Anschluss in 2025 is a matter of course.
Los de la limpieza parecen que estan entrenados en maltratar. Tocan media vez y de una abren la puerta, no esperan ni medio minuto. Lo peor es que son hombres y en el casi mio, soy mujer esta estaba en ropa interior (solo en bragas) lo otro es que les dije que no tenia checkout para ese dia, no se lo que entendierln pero me hicieron la estancia un caos. Moviendo todo apostas para hacer bastante ruido.
The cleaning people seem to be trained to abuse. They knock half a time and at one they open the door, they don't wait half a minute. The worst thing is they are men and in my case, I am a woman and I was in underwear (only in panties) the other thing is I told them I didn't have a checkout for that day, I don't know what they understood but they made my stay a mess. moving everything around to make quite a noise.

I just made my reservation again, they have reversed my advance, when I get to the hostel my reservation is not there.
My stay was perfect, the staff is fantastic, on the first day I had booked a mixed dorm but the two guests had lived in terrible conditions in the room. I asked for I changed rooms and the first guy on staff greeted me, he found the solution. These guys are very attentive to multiple customers, without making them feel like they're waiting too long or forgotten. Yilmaz He was very friendly, we chatted when there were no people at the reception, He found a clever idea to help me close my backpack
hi, super spontan super angenehme Atmosphäre viel Raum etwas zusammen zu machen. Nette Mitarbeiter. schöne Zimmer. sehr günstig. Ich würde gerne nochmal da übernachten:)

It was ok I guess. In a sketchy part of town. I was in a room with 4 grown old men who were pretty creepy. Bremen is beautiful but not this hostel.

Good location, everything works but nothing special. A bit messy to check in
