Bella Flor Hostel

The toilets were dirty and smelly frequently. One of the toilets does not have a seat… The kitchen was also dirty.. There are not that many activities / social environment so I would not recommend going as a solo traveler.

I didn’t enjoy my stay here too much. At first I was given a very strange bed in a room that seemed more like a private bedroom. There was like someone’s actualy wardrobe etc. also, the bed I was given was not made - it was covered with a bedspread that was pretty dirty and underneath was just the bare matress. Additionally it was under the roof with no walls and also no mosquito net (other beds had them). I was able to switch tho. Also staff speaks spanish ONLY

I had a nice stay at Bella Flor, nice environment and clean rooms but it doesn’t weight up to the fact that they messed up my laundry. They lost three essential pieces of clothing then tell me that it’s my fault because I did not check the bag with clean clothes. Crazy service and rude 😡! (I found out I lost my shirts the next day when I wanted to wear a shirt). After which they try to put the blame somewhere else so they don’t have to fix something they messed up and come up with a so...

Was recommended this by another traveller but left after one night. It’s a cute hostal, but felt a bit cramped with the dorm/ bathroom situation. No power point next to the bed. For the same price you can stay at a much more luxurious hostal nearby.

Ich habe in einem Dorm geschlafen und hatte ein Bett oben, welches durch das offene Dach immer, wirklich immer total dreckig war. Nachts bin ich ständig vom Badezimmer Licht oder anderen Sachen aufgewacht da es wie gesagt alles offen ist. Auf meine Wäsche musste ich auch sehr lange warten, dazu war es nicht gut um mit anderen zu connecten. Dennoch war das Frühstück welches im Preis inbegriffen ist sehr gut

The location is great breakfast amazing and staff really kind attentive and helpful ! The only thing is the amount of dogs that they have in the hostel. They will often start barking really early in the morning. Also the fact anyone can open the door of your room since they have holes. I was a little worried at first for my belongings. Beside these I had a great time

Cheap and basic hostel. The walls don't go all the way up to the ceiling so all rooms are connected soundwise. I was here on low season and the hostel was pretty empty. Staff is friendly and helpfull but there were no activities. Cleanliness / state of being of some furniture could be improved.

Great hostel, lovely breakfast an great location, just be prepared for the mosquitos there were so many, also not many people there at the moment and the dogs bark quite a lot through the night but other than that really great

Can not fault this hostel, its family run, owners are beautiful, rooms are bright and cosy, it’s clean and the architecture is stunning. Very tranquil place, to relax and close to all the essentials.

Lovely hostel with a homely feel. Staff were friendly and breakfast was quick and delicious. It’s in a nice relaxed area of Palomino, with a bit more of a hippy feel than closer to the beach. I extended my stay and would go back!

Bella Flor is a super quiet place a bit off the main area in Palomino which has it’s pros and cons, definitely the perfect place to relax and calm down, staff was super friendly, free breakfast came with (I think) 3 different choices, the showers are one of the best you can find along north coast! Overall I would stay here again if I‘m looking for a hostel to wind down

Das Frühstück war der Knaller. Das Hostel hatte einen ruhigeren familiären vibe was mir sehr gut gefallen hat. Es war sehr sauber und ich konnte total gut zur Ruhe kommen

I had a great time staying at Bella flor hostel and would recommend to anyone going to palamino. Diana couldn’t have been more welcoming throughout my stay and she was very helpful with me practising my Spanish! The rest of the staff were also really friendly and kind and I loved all the dogs and cats around! La princesa is my favourite! Really cosy and relaxing energy overall! Thanks

Auberge sympa, dortoir de 4 agréable. Par contre je conseille de prendre plutôt une auberge avec une piscine comme il est compliqué de se baigner à Palomino avec les vagues.

Für mich der perfekte Ort in Palomino. ein ruhiges Hostel mit freundlichem, hilfsbereiten Personal. Eine tolle Auswahl zum Frühstück, mit liebe zubereitet. Alles war sehr sauber, jeden Tag wurde das Bett frisch gemacht. Die sanitären Einrichtungen ebenfalls sehr sauber und komfortabel. Zwischen Hunden und Katzen die alle zum Hostel gehören, ein toller Platz zum Entspannen mit Hängematte, einer kleinen Ecke mit Spielen wie Schach und einer Gitarre. die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet.

Sehr ruhiges Hostel, ideal zum Entspannen und Abschalten. Während meines Aufenthalts war in ganz Palomino nicht viel los, weshalb auch das Hostel sehr leer war. Dadurch war es eher schwierig, Kontakte zu anderen Reisenden zu knüpfen – wer eine lebendige, soziale Hostel-Atmosphäre sucht, ist hier vielleicht weniger richtig. Das Frühstück ist gut und ausreichend, und das Personal ist durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Betten sind in Ordnung und mit Moskitonetzen ausgestattet, was...

Highly recommend it! Staff was helpful, room (I stayed in the private one) was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was great. Price was more than fair. Would def come back!

Mi experiencia en el hostal fue muy positiva. El lugar es cómodo y tranquilo, pero lo que más destaco es la atención de Diana, la anfitriona. Lovely hostel with helpful staff and free breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable. There is no pool which I think is represented by the lower price than many of the other Palomino hostels. Very chill and laid back.

El lugar no puede ser mejor! Todo el staff es perfecto. La dueña es fantástica Los baños siempre limpios, las duchas grandes, los cuartos bien frescos, te hacen la cama a diario. Los espacios comunes son preciosos. Me fui 100% enamorada del lugar, volveria siempre

El mejor Hostel donde me he alojado en Colombia, la calidad precio es excelente . Diana es una anfitriona maravillosa con mucha calidad humana , hace que los clientes nos sintamos como en casa . Sus desayunos son riquísimos preparados con esmero . Las habitaciones muy limpias , todos los días se hace el aseo y las camas muy cómodas . El lugar es muy bonito tanto las instalaciones como la arquitectura en si . Super recomendado si vienes a Palomino.

Wir waren für 6 Tage im Bella Flor Hostel zu Besuch. In diesen Tagen konnten wir entspannen und fanden trotzdem wundervolle Gespräche mit anderen Gästen oder den Menschen, die das Hostel betreiben. Das Familienunternehmen hat es geschafft eine ruhige und warme Atmosphäre zu kreieren. Ich wollte 3 Tage bleiben. Und blieb stattdessen 15. Die Lage des Hostels sorgt dafür, dass man zwar innerhalb von 10 Minuten am Strand sein, trotz dessen aber seine Ruhe und Entspannung genießen kann. Dazu trägt besonders das Personal bei, die lieben Hunde und die paradiesische Einrichtung.
