Coogee Beach House

+ Nothing Wasn’t aloud to stay even though I showed my receipt

- Everything night manger was so rude, and wouldn’t let me in. Had to book another hotel for the night.

+ Warning! Do not book this ‘Hotel’. Dirty and missing basic interior.

- Everything. Sticky breakfast tables, Dirty, no towels in shared toilets, No shower gel, no shelfs, no space for belongings, no doorhandles, not enough hooks. Food was stolen from fridge.

- The place is not safe... My roommate was smoking inside the room, checking me while sleeping, and the room was a mess... I got a cold the first day and it ruined my stay... I moved out the first day... Although I had paid for one week... Well at least waste of money not putting my life in danger... If you are a alone woman going there be careful, all the drug dealers and drunk people will stalk you even in your bed... I'm still feeling scared thinking about that one night i stayed there...

+ It’s have been there few times by now. And it’s always kindness of the staff that makes me come back. It was very clean and quiet and nearly on the beach ! What else could you ask?

+ Good size room and bathroom, lovely staff, lovely room mate

- Nothing it was what was to be expected for hostel style accommodation. But I would bring my own pillow next time.

+ Great access to the beach right around the corner. Room had a window and bedding was comfortable. They had long curtains and chair plus hangers and side table. Good value and very easy to get to. Easy access to all the buses.

+ Location is amazing and you are right by everything. Very easy to walk to the beach or breakfast in the morning.

- Bathrooms were pretty dirty and they demand you give them $20 in Australian cash for your room key. Which I do not receive back.

+ The location and proximity.ity to the beach and major public transport networks was excellect

- Breakfast can be improved upon. Merely offering bread with butter and jam as well as cereal is not good enough. Can. Include a protein even if it is a boiled egg and peanut butter plus fruit for breakfas

+ The staff and guests were all really friendly. The rooms and bathrooms were kept clean. The location is perfect, so close to everything.

+ Location is superb, such a quick walk to the beach. We stayed in a double room and found it very comfy.

- Whilst it was nice that breakfast was included, the serving space was too small for so many people, and for so short a period of time. I would suggest putting breakfast in the sitting room instead. The exterior looked very cute and pretty, but the inside could definitely do with a lick of paint. Similarly, some of the plumbing needs updating, with some taps always on, some never on. Finally, getting to the bathrooms could be difficult, so it again felt they cram too many people in with not enough facilities. Overall, nothing worth crying about, the location is fantastic and we had a good stay, but a few little updates would make it feel like better value for money.

+ Fantastic location so close to the beach, the staff are lovely and the place feels homely! Made some great friends while staying here and extended my stay by another 2-3 weeks directly!

- Some maintenance issues with the bathrooms (nothing major) but this has been passed on to management.

+ Excellent location. Beds were comfortable and cleam. Showers had plenty of hot water

- Place needs a total renovatio n. Looks like it hadn't been decorated in years! Leather sofa in common room in tatters. Horrible colours on walls. Needs to be painted so badly!
