+ La ubicación
- En primer lugar el desayuno es muy flojo, básicamente solo café con leche y pan. En cuanto al personal; el primer día me sentí cómoda pero luego el personal estuvo raro, aparte de eso me dijeron que podía recibir visitas hasta las 7 pm, al día siguiente traje visitas para juntarnos a almorzar y el personal básicamente las hecho, dijo que un día para otro cambiaron las reglas sin avisar a los huéspedes, me sentí muy incómoda por mis amigas, venimos viajando por todo el mundo y justo aquí en Mendoza nos pasa esto es una vergüenza y una tristeza haber caído a este Hostel, me da mucha pena por el momento que pasaron las chicas, la verdad no recomendaría hospedarse en un lugar así .
I booked online, they wouldn't let me check in but wouldn't cancel or refund my payment. they kept the money and made me go rent another place even after multiple conversations with the owner, obviously I'll never even think or renting this place again.
Hostel avec un très bel emplacement, et c’est plus ou moins tout. J’ai loué une chambre avec 2 lits + salle de bain. Lits très basiques, sans échelle pour acceder à celui du dessus, pas de prises électriques à proximité des lits, salle de bain avec que de l’eau brulante (aucune possibilité de régler la température les 2 premiers jours (jusqu’à intervention d’un technicien)), bon petit déjeuner mais peu de quantité, et quelques soirées jusqu’à tard qui empêchaient de ...
I rented a room with 2 beds + bathroom. Very basic beds, no ladder to access the one above, no electrical outlets near the beds, bathroom with only hot water (no possibility to adjust the temperature for the first 2 days (until a technician intervenes)), good breakfast but little quantity, and a few late nights that prevented me from sleeping until 1-2h.
breakfast is a joke!! that shouldn’t be called “breakfast” to begin with. You get some slices of an apple and some bread. For such price, it is definitely possible to get a better deal in Mendoza. When I was staying there, it was the first day for the new staff member, so maybe she needs more time to get used to it, but communication was so so difficult and poor, the whole teem seemed very unprofessional and couldn’t answer any questions or help regarding basic issues. hope they can im...

- The Owner enjoys is life and look like doing nothing, it's run by some volunteer really friendly but without knowing what they do. I explained 2 days in row my problem with a loud snorer, nobody care about, i just left to find a place to really sleep. Air Con are not working well Accommodation in dormitorio are really poor
The hostel in and of itself is satisfactory, the atmosphere was poor, I think it attracts the wrong crowd. If you’re in Mendoza I would recommend Hostel Dale as an alternative.
+ El personal muy agradable y gentil. Nos ayudaron con las reservas para los tours los cuales fueron geniales. Esta muy bien situado muy facil para transportarse.
- La limpieza muy mala, es un lugar bonito pero estaba muy sucio. Los baños mal aseados, fue algo que la verdad me dejo muy desmotivada al igual las areas comunes hay polvo se nota que hace mucho tiempo no hacen aseo, en vez de colocar a los voluntarios a asear deberían buscar una persona que se encargue de mantener el lugar aseado eso les sumaría muchos puntos.

- Quando cheguei, tive que esperar mais de 10 minutos até que alguém abrisse a porta - percebi que isso ocorreu com outras pessoas também. Isso acontece porque o hostel fica quase integralmente na mão dos voluntários, que não são locais (alguns sequer falam espanhol) e não conseguem passar informações básicas sobre a cidade, por mais esforçados que sejam. Outra nota negativa é sobre o café da manhã, praticamente inexistente. Escolhi esse hostel sobretudo por isso, e tive que comer na rua toda manhã - não havia o básico, como pão, queijo, bolo, etc. Acredito que, se você assume que oferece este benefício, deve de fato fazê-lo. Sinto que falta apreço dos administradores com o local. Há banheiros com enormes janelas para a rua sem cortinas, falta toalha de rosto e limpeza adequada. A casa é bem localizada e tem enorme potencial, não explorado.

+ Perfect location for my short visit to Mendoza. A beautiful historic building converted into a hostel run by young people from all over the world! Fantastic atmosphere: from the moment you enter the gate, you feel right at home! So many activities to do and wonderful people to meet. I wish I could have stayed longer! Definitely a place to return to! Thanks guys for the lovely stay, it was short but intense! :)
- All was over my expectations!
+ The location is very convenient since it’s right by the main plaza! The hostel has many different areas, so it’s easy to find a quiet private space for working or phone calls and also has lots of areas to be social and meet others. All of the volunteers were very friendly and organize communal dinners or outings for anyone who wants to join! The rooms were clean and comfortable, lockers available, and I enjoyed that there was an option for smaller (only 4 person) dorms. I would love to stay here again!
- The only downside is that because the bathrooms are private with toilet, shower, etc all in one, there is a sometimes a bit of a wait with the number of people in the hostel, but it was usually not very long!

+ This is a really great hostel. The staff, manybof whom are volunteers are so friendly and helpful. The hostel is full of character as an old house to become a hostel. The atmosphere is welcoming and it just seems a really good vibe. It is excellent value for money too.
+ Mi experiencia en The Hostel fue, sin exagerar, la mejor de todo mi viaje. Y eso que solo me quedé una noche porque era mi última parada antes de volver a Perú. Para haber sido el cierre de mis vacaciones, no pudo ser mejor. Me sentí demasiado cómoda desde que llegué. Todo el staff, sin excepción, fue increíble: amables, cercanos, con una energía hermosa que realmente se siente. Se armó un plan en la noche, hubo conexión entre todos y el ambiente fue demasiado divertido y auténtico. Me quedé con ganas de más, honestamente. Me hubiera encantado quedarme más tiempo. Y si vuelvo a Mendoza, sin duda regreso ahí… ojalá para reencontrarme con las mismas personas, porque son top.

Amazing stay at Hostel Plaza, Alan was the best hostel manager making sure everyone felt at home and organising social things like wine and empanada night and Asado. The location is perfect as there is lots to do nearby. Beds were comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen but it was a big space so I imagine it would have been easy to prepare food. So sad to leave! Thanks to all the volunteers for making our stay so enjoyable!
