Bee Backpackers Hostel

This was really not a good experience. Though the guy owning the place is nice. They gave me the wrong room (booked 4bed, got 6bed) and there was mold everywhere in the room. The door to the toilet couldn’t close and the whole room stank of a mix of mold and weeks of sweat. I am a woman, I do not feel safe showering with an open door.

The hostel was fine, but to our opinion it isn’t worth the high score it is getting on here. Everything is outdated, smells poor and looks filthy. The only common area is the pub which you have to walk through to get into the hostel. The staff was friendly, but tried to sell us a tour as we arrived at 3 AM.

Zeer teleurstellend. helaas was het een enorme tegenvaller. De kamers waren vies en oud. Het was duidelijk dat er geen goede schoonmaak werd uitgevoerd, want er liepen zelfs kakkerlakken rond. Het kussen was beschimmeld, de dekens roken absoluut niet schoon en de lucht in de kamer was muf en vochtig. Het leek alsof er nooit onderhoud was gepleegd. Ik raad dit hostel absoluut niet aan en vind dat het een veelste hoge score heeft…

Arrived in the middle of night and took half an hour to wake up the reception to get let in. Basic accommodation but in central location

Kam Nachts an. Trotz vorherigen bescheid geben kam ich erst nicht rein und musste mehrfach anrufen. Man wollte mir dann noch eine Fahrt andrehen und auch mehrfaches verneinen wurde ignoriert. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, auf den Laken waren aber Flecken. Morgens musste ich diskutieren um mein Frühstück zu bekommen, weil es angeblich 2 Buchungsoptionen gäbe. Bei hostelworld steht es aber drin. Bekam dann ein bisschen Rührei (1Ei) und trocken Brot.

Great stop and a nice bar

Really nice hostel but they were really short in staff and you could see that in cleanliness and facilities. Bar downstairs was nice and the owner was really helpful and kind.

Nice hostel ! Opened not too long ago so there’s a bit of improvement to be done but Bee knows that ! Other than that, the staff is really nice and social ! Shame I couldn’t stay longer :(

So friendly and helpful, when I had food poisoning they let me stay in bed after check out till our bus came and gave us seperate room from the men.

Amazing hostel with a super friendly and social atmosphere! The staff are incredibly welcoming and make you feel at home right away. Great place to meet other travelers and have fun, especially in the evenings. Good location and excellent value for money. Highly recommend!

I had an amazing stay in bee backpackers hostel. The private room was simple but efficient,clean and with a good price.The pub downstairs also was great and the staff also very helpful.Very good location and nearby everything Thnx Bee

Bee, the owner, is an absolute blessing. Helped me book a last minute taxi in the morning and was very accommodating. The space was also very clean and he upgraded me to a single because I think there was no one in the female dorms.

I loved to stay in this hostel, the atmosphere is amazing and Bee too!

Ci siamo trovati molto bene, il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. A fronte di piccole imperfezioni, sono stati pronti nel rimediare in modo rapido ed efficiente. Consigliato!

One of the best hostels I've stayed in! The rooms are clean with comfy beds, and having a lively bar/pub right on the ground floor is a huge bonus. It's ideal for meeting new people and enjoying laid-back conversations. Highly recommended!
